Michelin (Owners of BF Goodrich) makes most of what it sells in the USA in the USA! That is my brand when I have a choice! By the way Thanks for the DOT info and link Mike. I will say there is a $500 charge to purchase the DOT Database, but cool non the less! Great video as always. 😎
Good video Mike! Like a dummy, I bought some Goodyears last fall and assumed they were made in USA. Unfortunately, I found out they were made in Chile. Oh well, it just stings because I grew up very close to the Goodyear plant in Fayetteville, NC.
Mike is back doing some 'Old Glory' peel outs with his America flag tires, how patriotic! Haha, thanks Mike for this interesting video, i dont remember your first video on tires, so yay for the update!
I wish there was a way to know exactly what tires a plant manufactures. Theres a Cooper plant in Texarkana but I have no idea which ones are made there. We bought some Cooper AT3 4S and they are manifactured in the US.
That is good to know I bought mastercraft tires in 2019 which were made in USA and they were great! But unfortunatley I bought mastercraft tires in 2022 and I looked at the tires when I got home and they said made in mexico the tires were supposed to last 50k miles but only lasted 15k miles even though I faithfully rotated my tires every 3k miles and took care of my car never buying mastercraft again! The mastercraft problem was so bad the tire shop I bought them from completely stopped selling mastercraft tires!
Any questions on tires? Any tire companies you want to shout out? Leave a comment below!
