My internship was very good in the sense that we got to do a lot of independent work and that only added to my anxiety. And then came my radio postings and I really liked the environment there and the work that was done. I observed a lot of vascular intervention procedures and just totally fell in love with the branch. Now in NEET of I have a rank good enough to get radiology dnb in Mumbai. Should I go for radiology? Only thing i feel against radiology at this point is that I’ll miss patient interactions. I’ll really appreciate it if you reply sir… do you miss patient interactions? I come from a family of doctors and I’ve always seen patients asking them about their problems in public, family functions etc and that actually drove me to mbbs.
Hi, I was in the same position except I had inclination towards surgery. Do I miss patient Interaction- umm I’d say I miss patient management a little. To see patient as a whole till discharge. i underwent bilateral varicocele surgery 5 and half months ago but my veins is still enlarged and i heard that if we get ultrasound with enlarged yet ligated veins, radiologist will still say you have varicocele... Is it true? I heard this and I am afraid if radiologist will give me bad reports or declare recurrence...
Are you getting pain on walking? Standing after prolonged sitting? Go to experienced person to get correct diagnosis after examination maybe the surgeon hasn't ligated the testicular vein properly.
By the way it's true we are human even we make mistakes and it is difficult to exclude when ligated surgically as it looks like a varicocele .I have a method to diagnose it without sonography.just hold the swollon area with thumb and finger and bend down if it reduces then definitely it is a varicocele and the surgery was not done correctly.
Sir i am a neet aspirant i want to become radiologist , but i cannot get right knowledge for this course some sources says that we should do mbbs and some are saying you can do this by doing bachleors in radiology So i am confused , so can you please tell me what should i do?

Hi dear doc..how much mark should I get in NEET PG for a 5k rank??
Thanks in advance
Ok
🤝
Nice 👍
Sir is it possible that in coming years other branches will be authorised to do imaging of their own specialisation like ms obgy people do fetal medicine and then they do obs usg. So is this a thing to worry? I am opting md radio in this neet pg counseling but such thoughts cross my mind and that makes me doubt whether to go for it.
Speciality specific USG maybe. Like liver USG, renal USG.
Cross sectional imaging no.
Also the volume of imaging that happens is huge
Different kind of jobs in radiology🙂😏😏🙂
what would be your take on IIT KGP MBBS course?
also PGIMER is starting MBBS in coming years what would be your take on that too?
IIT KGP- no
PGIMER- hell yes! Central institute, great city, great hospital.
Take B Tech from IIT Kgp.. It will pay you more than a radiologist would ever dream

Sir i got AIR of 2k in neet pg 24 , sir is the physics part like mechanism of different imaging systems , then radiology subject itself is very new unlike other branches like medicine obg surgery which we have some basic idea in mbbs sir , so facing this would be difficult??? And post md radiology is there risk of job saturation sir ?? Are Chances of getting a govt job in radio low ?? Very much confused between taking general medicine or radiology sir please please give your opinion on this
Dont take radiology guys .
i underwent bilateral varicocele surgery 5 and half months ago but my veins is still enlarged and i heard that if we get ultrasound with enlarged yet ligated veins, radiologist will still say you have varicocele...
Is this a course to do after MBBS as a specialization? Or it is the course to do after 12th.Plzz someone reply me me... 🥺
Bro its after mbbs bro but if u dont want you can choose bsc radiology
Sir i am a neet aspirant i want to become radiologist , but i cannot get right knowledge for this course some sources says that we should do mbbs and some are saying you can do this by doing bachleors in radiology
So i am confused , so can you please tell me what should i do?
For becoming a radiologist, you have to do MBBS.
Radiology technician is a different course.
They operate the CT, MRI and X-ray machines
Sir rank to get radiology from Delhi collg
Currently I have completed my pcm and searching for future carrier I saw radiology please tell me, what it is and how to get into that from which degree , College, all that and, is it worth it in 2024 .
Ok
Salaries in middle East ,uae, Singapore???
Can i know Dm infectious disease and radiation oncology scope?
Sir during residency or Srship is interventions limited to simpler procedures like pig tail insertion, usg or ct guided biopsies, taps? Do residents get to do vascular interventions or it has to be learnt in fellowship??
Some SRShips programs give vascular hands on during SRShip. As a general rule, good hands on in IR provided in fellowships only.

Yes
Donot take radiology

Don't take radiology.
Sir between lhmc and gb pant for MD radio
Which should be placed higher in choice filling?
LHMC because of more spectrum of cases. GB pant has limited super specialities.
@@RishabhJain2970 okay sir
Thanks again !!
Is it important to be interested or good in anatomy to choose radiology as branch...?
And can we study Anatomy from here and become better...
Please Reply Sir.... Thank You!!
No not at all. Radiology Anatomy you learn on the go. That’s not at all a criteria to reject Radiology
I love listening FM radio 📻😊
My AIR in neet PG is 6.7k , I'm planning for diploma radio and then secondary dnb , is it a good decision or not?

Yes. PG is worth it as your future is secured with a PG.

Its is truth that upcoming 7 to 8 years radiology will be lowest preferred branch and it is definitely replaced by Artificial intelligence
Think 200 times before taking this technician branch
Sure
I agree. I am an MBBS doctor and even I use AI to read xrays
Definitely brother. Radio will be worst branch in the future
Think 10 times before you even know what a work life balance means..
Is it important to pursue DM in every branch in next 10 years? Can we not stop at an MD radiology?
I don't think it's necessary
