- Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been one of the favorite SUVs when it comes to 7 Seater family SUV.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has been the same mechanically since 2010, getting few tweaks to the exterior, with the most significant facelift coming in 2018. There are two "VVT-i" engine choices for the Land Cruiser Prado - a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder and a 4.0-liter V6. In Saudi Arabia, additionally a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel V6 engine on offer. The Land Cruiser Prado is proper off-road cars and all models offer standard all-wheel-drive with low-range gearing and available locking center-differential.
All petrol engines get a 6-speed automatic transmission whereas the diesel motor is mated to a 5-speed automatic. The basic Prado 2.7L, known as TX in KSA and EXR in UAE, comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, front LED fog lamps, black front grille, black power mirrors and door handles, rear spoiler, side steps, mudguards, fabric seating for seven, front and rear manual a/c, CD/MP3 6-speaker stereo, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and brake assist, dual front airbags and floor-mounted spare tire, a cool box, steering audio controls, USB/AUX ports, and Bluetooth.
The mid-range Prado 2.7L, known as TXL in KSA and GXR in UAE, gets 18-inch alloy wheels, front parking sensors, body-colored trim, leather steering wheel and shift lever, USB/AUX ports, Bluetooth, cool box, and more, dual-zone auto a/c, cruise control and rearview camera. The UAE also gets a Prado 2.7L in VXR trim that adds powered front seats, chrome front grille, silver roof rails, leather upholstery, and navigation.
The basic Prado 4.0L, known as EXR in UAE, comes with a 6-speaker stereo with Bluetooth and USB/AUX ports, steering audio controls, rear parking sensors, LED fog lamps, manual a/c, fabric seats, dual airbags, stability control, ABS, smart key with engine start/stop button, cruise control, side steps, and hill start/descent assist. All UAE-bound V6 Prado models have a door-mounted spare tire. The mid-range Prado 4.0L, known as TXL in KSA and GXR in UAE, comes with roof rails, sunroof, front bumper guard and uphill/downhill assist on all automatic models. The TXL additionally gets a tow hitch and side mouldings, while the GXR instead gets side/curtain/knee airbags, dual-zone a/c, extra chrome trim, rear camera, and navigation.
A higher-spec Prado 4.0L trim, known as TXL2 in KSA and VXR in UAE, comes with a sunroof, dual auto a/c, rear camera, navigation, auto-levelling LED headlights, sunshades, remote start, leather, front and rear parking sensors, and power front seats.
The Prado 4.0L in top Limited trim gains 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with daytime running lamps, leather seats, power front seats with memory, front and rear parking sensors with rear camera, side/curtain/knee airbags, 14-speaker JBL stereo with voice control and steering-wheel buttons, multi-touch screen with navigation, remote engine starter, self-leveling KDSS suspension, power-folding third row, ventilated front seats, Multi-Terrain Select with four cameras, rear entertainment system, blind-spot monitor, crawl control and rear cross-traffic alert.

This is completely different from what you have in your country. Every country or a continent gets some changes whenever they launch a car. For instance, the top option for UAE is the VXR Adventure for 2021 but for Russia, it's Kakadu.. so to say it depends on the country and taste of common Prado admirers living at the particular place (of course it has to be calculated on the basis of the net sales in a year) :)
@@CarK1992 ahh gotcha, do the V6 dubai models with the spare tire on the tailgate get the 150L tank or just 87?
Looking at a dubai import here in my country right now, just not quite sure if it has any benefits unlike the LC200 dubai version which has many benefits over the SEA model.

Only good thing about this is resale value. But the amount you pay for this car, in same price american cars give you 10x more options.
No back seat entertainment, last seats manual etc etc
Unfortunately yes, atleast they should add some fancy to the rear end, even the top option in UAE comes straight on manual rear seats, without screens... BDW soon would be uploading the 2021 Toyota Prado 4.0L VXR Adventure (UAE's top option) stay tuned Nasir :)

4.0L V6 has more power of course! And in GCC the diesel alternative comes in 3.0L V4.

I drive a V6, it hates hills or pulling heavy loads, and it sucks petrol, 18ltr/100km. Full tank of 150ltr you'll make 800km

How much do prices get haggled down on average when buying a new car in Dubai?
Prices don't get much reduced here. However, dealerships might get you some offers like extended warranty, freebies, insurance and more
