I don't agree at all . She needs more dramatic songs .But that is the problem with the voice . Those coaches .Why was again the audition the best performance she gave ,Her voice has that mysterious " thing" that give it drama . Hé gives her Wicked Game , and the Light Blondie classic Call me . I would give her more Fleetwood Mac , Marianne Faithfull or Elvis Costello .Or even a soul ballad , but not all this sugar sweet stuff .Her voice is not sugar . I do wish artists (contestants) were allowed to pick their own songs throughout the show rather than getting coaches to push their choices on them. Since you mentioned Creep - Check out Vincint's version of Creep and Brian Justin Crum's version of the same song. They are the two best versions of that song I have heard. You can find them both on youtube.
Such a refreshing change from the high octave belting we’ve had as the standard for female voices for ages now. Chloe showcases how captivating a low, rich, female grittier voice is. Absolutely gorgeous tone to her voice. I really hope someone gets this young woman out there. I want to hear her album. I think she’s my favourite voice of any talent competition show ever.
This is for two reasons: she's a contralto which is generally quite rare and even rarer in pop music, although there are a few (e.g. Katy Perry, Pink, Alicia Keys and yes, Miley). Plus, the genres her voice works well with aren't that popular among young people = can't be marketed that well. Music lovers will love her, though.
@Alice Grace all those singers you mention are actually mezzo-sopranos, though they can do some low notes. Contralto singers are Lana del Rey, Lady Gaga, the two women from Fleetwood Mac. You can identify a contralto because they sound like men; for instance, Cher, Tracy Chapman and Nina Simone.
I kind of hate how female singers in these shows are appreciated if they can very high notes. Chloe has such unique voice and range that I don't understand how people don't go crazy with voices like this one. Contralto voices are so rich and hard to find.
Total eclipse of the heart was one of the best preformances i've ever seen on any music compitition. it brought tears to my eyes,, that usually never happens watching adults, but the passion was real, no doubt.

Before 21:25, she’s just interpreting, and after 21:25, she puts some real passion in there coming from her own heart in a sensitive crescendo of intensity. It was as she created a bond at this particular moment. Most of her interpretations are amazing with a beautiful voice color, but on this specific song, she added a part of her heart.
Wowsy. Blake really unlocked her potential, her confidence. I kept waiting for her to dig deeper get some grit. Her growth with each new performance was like time lapse... And finally...FINALLY gave up her crutch, the mike stand.
I also think that we should admire and appreciate all the musicians in all the voice for there making the singers sound so good, they are under appreciated and are fantastic.
After so many singers that all sound the same it's great to hear someone that brings back memories of the greats. Landslide and Call Me performed to perfection and Betty Davis Eyes done with such style and class. She's absolutely brilliant. And huge kudos to Blake. He's a daft idiot sometimes, which is really funny, but you can't help but respect his ability to bring out the best in the people he mentors.

She also darkens her vowels with her pursed lips and more closed mouth shape. Loving the breathy choice for her (well-controlled) falsetto, too. Highly emotive! Great choices! Of course, the grit/distortion is the clincher. I’m hooked!

A few years later i think i might understand why miley let her go... all songs she sang on the show sound exactly like what miley is doing nowadays and i bet she was already planing her stuff back then and it would just be too similar. Just a cent, hearing it from the coaches saying that the artist they keep will make it to 'grammy' or radio but the voice NBC sucks at promoting their artists over 10 years is just nullifying. They should def step up in their promotion.
What got me, in her first audition, was how very competent she was, to start with....then she let the dogs out! Also her voice is so powerful...and the last part, when she found her vibe, the stagecraft came out to play.

Choosing Miley just because she was her fan was a huge mistake. Luckily she made the right choice in choosing Blake the second time around, all the musics selected for her were spot on! And she's beautiful too!
I don't think choosing Miley was a mistake... She's almost like a clone of Miley, and her coaching could be really appropriate. The mistake here was Miley not recognizing her as incredible artist and a potential winner. Luckily, the contestant had another chance with someone who really knows how to find and show the talent in people.
When Miley let her go, she's about to cry but the 2 coach wants her bad. And Adam just root for Blake there..they see a star that's so different totally from who they are. Blake really knows how to choose and how to enhance once talent by their own song and signature. Total eclipse of the heart, OH MY GOD, I think I like it more than the original, she sang it SO FREAKING WELL. I love the original but oh my gosh, I almost cried because I could feel the emotion in her voice, she felt that song from beginning to end.
I’m in Australia but I have to say that Chloe has one of the best voices and pure magnetic stage presences I’ve ever seen on any of The Voice stages in the world! Crossing fingers that she never lets the record companies change who she is! ❤

What a magic. When you hear the perfect collaboration between the performer and the band. Everyone strives for the perfect production. And it comes true. Almost all the songs feel more like excerpts from a concert than individual songs. My credit to Mr. Shelton for his exceptional sense of song choices. My favorit is the I wanna know what love is

This woman idolizes Miley so much, she even copied her looks. Then Miley cuts her, Blake steals her, and she goes on to win the competition!! That's rolling on the flloor hilarity!!
Yeah im so mad with miley decision, but yeah blake has big fan base that helps the vote. Landslide was the best performance and so magnificent. I dont know in the voice, knockout is the most impact moment that makes you win.
Miley did the right thing. When smn tries to be like you, there is likelihood you might not give them the right tools. You are often the worst critic of yourself, you could end up only seeing only the worst in them or be too critical

Often I am bewildered why Stars such as Mylie, Stevie, Cher, Willie, the list goes on, don't create new stars by creating duets, like Elton has. Dua Lipa, Eminem, Sara Bareilles, DJ's - ok that's a long bow drawn, but do you get what I mean? Stars and their apprentices are brilliance in entertainment!

A few years later i think i might understand why miley let her go... all songs she sang on the show sound exactly like what miley is doing nowadays and i bet she was already planing her stuff back then and it would just be too similar. I love both miley and chloe as singers and wish there where even more female singers that sounded like them today 💖

Just a cent, hearing it from the coaches saying that the artist they keep will make it to 'grammy' or radio but the voice NBC sucks at promoting their artists over 10 years is just nullifying. They should def step up in their promotion.
What got me, in her first audition, was how very competent she was, to start with....then she let the dogs out! Also her voice is so powerful...and the last part, when she found her vibe, the stagecraft came out to play.

Choosing Miley just because she was her fan was a huge mistake. Luckily she made the right choice in choosing Blake the second time around, all the musics selected for her were spot on! And she's beautiful too!
I don't think choosing Miley was a mistake... She's almost like a clone of Miley, and her coaching could be really appropriate. The mistake here was Miley not recognizing her as incredible artist and a potential winner. Luckily, the contestant had another chance with someone who really knows how to find and show the talent in people.
I think she chose the right people at the right time and that's why she won, apart from having an incredible talent to build on!

When Miley let her go, she's about to cry but the 2 coach wants her bad. And Adam just root for Blake there..they see a star that's so different totally from who they are. Blake really knows how to choose and how to enhance once talent by their own song and signature. I just wonder why Adam didn't turn his chair for ther, she sounds like Miley even the look...she's worth 4 chair turned such a unique artist..sounds like Miley, Lady Gaga, Katie in one.
