Across the Caribbean, we have been in love with Tessanne and her vocals forever (it seems). She has so many great songs. My all-time-favorite is Hideaway, cause she showed her vocal range and you couldn't help but be in a trans. She did the Caribbean proud!

As I heard her blind audition I said to my wife, "She can't lose" With every subsequent performance that feeling was cemented. I got goose pimples then and listening now mi full a cold bump as we say in Jamaica. I had been a huge fan since "Hideaway" Bridge over Troubled Water brings tears to my eyes still. When I heard I Have Nothing I knew it was OVER. It was then just a matter of the formalities of naming her. I am so happy that she is happy right now with her family

Tessanne Chin was a professional, very well established musician, way before the voice. The voice did exposed her to a much bigger audience intentionally though.
Her vocals are stupidly good. If you ever hear this woman sings high Ballard , you will be shocked to why she isn’t much more famous for her actually talent.

She wasn't prepared to sell her soul to the industry in order to be famous. She can sing every genre of music and sing it well, they wanted to pigeon hole her and you can't do that with a talent like hers.
