I was holding back the tears to my friend. Very emotional. And he sung it so well. Here is to wishing this young man a great future. And to his proud dad looking over him from heaven.

No way, they’re the worst. I don’t like any of them nor their mediocre commercial music . Bring Adele on there, so she can make Katy feel like a tiny nothing overhyped hack . Katey is so talentless, it’s incredible she’s famous . She had to have sold her soul . They auto tune her. I want to see Katey sing a cappella . For those of u who don’t know what the word means coz u slept thru school, google it. I’m not here to educate you .

I’m obsessed with Sara Beth!! Obsessed!! She’s so adorable and talented. Even though she was still trying to process everything that was happening around her, she still killed her audition. Had me smiling the entire time 😍😍😍

Cam Amen is an everyday hero and an inspiration. No matter what life throws at you, you never give up. Way too young to have to have dealt with such big problems. He is an amazing young man.
This kid made me cry without control, i am going to be 51 tomorrow, i missed my dad so much an can't stop crying after listening to him. What a pure heart he has. I just couldn't control joining the dots, my son is now 16 we live in different countries and i know i have to give him his space, but i feel our pain.

The Karaoke girl. What a voice. Particularly on the Amy Winehouse song. I think she had the edge on others on this video. To be blessed with such voice and not even know it. Wow!
At 10:05, my world was shaken. This 18-year-old young man came in ready. But. He was not ready for the worldwide reaction from him to his Dad, Rodney. I have to tell y'all. I've watched this part of this clip 8 times now. Working on a ninth, tenth, eleventh, etc. Each time I tear up. This young man is worthy.
So beautifully done. And such an inspiration to any (younger) singer that wants to sing, put their heart and soul into it, and find any reason to make themselves heard with their own story. ♥♥ I love this kid.

My father is in the hospital this morning with fluids in his lungs, I pray he gets better soon. My heart hurts because after retiring from the Usaf my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 15 years ago, and my Dad and Mom should have been able to Enjoy their Golden Years, but Mom passed away after stroke and Covid she couldn't go on without her Rock my Dad. I was lucky enough to be in a local singing competition with Sara a few years back. She won of course :) It was called Half -Time Idol it was 16 weeks long and sooo much fun. Dang Covid killed soo many activities

For the life of me I don't know Why ANI (?), who Sang 'Anyone,' Didn't get the Platinum Card! This girl DEF has the IT factor and in My opinion in a totally separate league of her Own! (not to mention the sweetest personality), and I for one wld just Love to see her win! ❤ 🙏

I generally don't bother to comment on the auditions, but Cam Amen is a rare exception!!

American idol contestants have become insanely talented! The voices of 2023 has by far surpassed all previous seasons! I have a few favs but I do expect to see many of them become something after this no matter their placement

It’s usually the smiling ones who hides a-lot of pain inside. Sometimes all they need is someone to ask “how are you? Are you alright? Im here if you need someone to talk to.”Knowing someone care , that they are not alone.
@@hollylanders4923 the way she just broke, and spoke from her heart, what she really thought, not the artist, her true self, she was hurt.. and its all true.. a kid shouldnt be losing close ones left and right. the country not only failed protecting those kids, but also the people committing those acts. i truly hope they fix this problem. you should never ever have to bury your child..
Those 3 judges are more than judging singing talent. They are down to earth, articulating the way thru not only rating singer’s talent but they usher these contestants with luv humor and heart and instant friendship.

No she didn't have any business saying such. There is a man on here this season with about 5 kids, yet she didn't insult him about that. Not everyone feels the way Katy does about children.
