Should just say Cortez The Killer is near the best guitar. He ever played. I know. I'll get some arguments but I've really liked him since I bought after the goldrush, everybody knows this is nowhere, great also. Harvest has always been the closest acoustic type ballad to Goldrush. Just my humble opinion.

Not a very coherent or definitive bio. It barely mentions Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, easily the best known band he belonged to, while Buffalo Springfield gets numerous mentions. OLD MAN TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR LIFE! You're a lot like me!
SURE WISH THE ROCK N'ROLL STARs put their $$$$$ into housing and co-ops/farms for others
AMEN!!! Grew up on the Dude... Love his music No Doubt.. Im assuming this "Activist" would have Frowned upon so many $$$ related endeavors he is now Privileged to CONSUME... back in the day... Born in 58'... guess I bought in... Bummer!!!!
Most do
How do you know that he hasn't, maybe he has....
It's as if you hadn't watched the video. Farm Aid supports needy farmers, the Bridge School helps disabled kids, and you have no idea how many other charitable and environmental causes he's supported financially. You obviously have lots of money compared to many, since you have an internet account. Why not put that money into housing for the homeless?
@@DavidNelsonO Now Neil hates the farmers! and the truckers! and the tow truck drivers! He sure loves Phizer though. He drinks Phizer soda pops. next album is going to be about silencing voices that speak against the establishment... can't wait!!!!

A living legend indeed.

For a socialist he seems to love capitalism
Do as I say, not as I do. They're all like that - hippie nutsos from the 60s and total hypocrites. They love the environment, except when it comes to their guitars made of exotic rare hardwoods. Then they don't give a rat's ass how much deforestation occurs. Total hypocrites.

Shame about the background music .
Neil young Daril Hannah love them
this is all over the place scattergun biography that missed its hook
It mentions some of his most popular solo projects and doesn't include Harvest or After The Gold Rush....
Should just say Cortez The Killer is near the best guitar. He ever played. I know. I'll get some arguments but I've really liked him since I bought after the goldrush, everybody knows this is nowhere, great also. Harvest has always been the closest acoustic type ballad to Goldrush. Man he or the great Steven stills could have picked anybody of the street to replace Crosby and Nash. Hard for a favorite though Rust never sleeps, live Rust right up there,, for me. Just my humble opinion.
I left out lots i know. But I do have to mention Cowgirl In The Sand and Sugar mountain.
Man.His wrapped up in a Cadillac and how we went drove right past on Southern Man.
OMG so this documentary says, neil released several successful albums after leaving csn&y, and they list trans, on the water and greendale, three pieces of you know what, not mentioning some of the greatest albums of all time he made
I came to comment the EXACT SAME THING
On the Beach was one of his best. Not that familiar with the other two.
They only know what's on wikipedia, and actually they know nothing at all but sell this vid for adverts anyway !
@@billenplum, idiotic,
Greendale is awesome!
Neil's been in at least seven bands.
Purr fect
For all his words, he is a true capitalist. Love his early music though. Just realize he is not a saint.
I thought Neil was an immunologist and a public health and safety expert.
no..just another misinformed totalitarian big pharma shill. Even if his info wasn't propaganda, authoritarianism isn;'t the answer Neil!
5:40 Yeah, THAT Rick James, before "Superfreak"
I meditated on "Zuma" all my life.
This bio should be used as an example of ADHD
Verdace
Has Neil gone on that Jay Leno show yet? Hed be a perfect guest.
Fix your point dude. That's not Neil's currently lifestyle and neither his biography.
The most important historic guitar.
Martin D-45 (late 60's) Oops, Hank's ol D-18..
My all time favourite capitalist. Keep on rock'n in the free world Neil.
Good taste in cars.
Neil has put out way more then 22 albums. Where did you get that from?
ya whats that all about, "more than 22" is correct, yet "more than 42 albums" would have been accurate, plus 3 records with B Springfield, 4 with CSNY, 1 with Steven Stills, and numerous live/compiliation/and archive releases
can't forget his anti biotech album, even though he's now working for them... or what about he free speech album,,,, even though he's against free speech now. We can still listen to the old Neil and pretend he never went fascist if we want.
@@MicahMicahel
Do you ever quit crying.
HEs not Canadian American!!!! He's Canadian!
Not any more.
He hasn't lived in Canada since he was a kid. Now he's just an authoritarian shill for big pharma. They can have him!!!
Zoom in zoom out. Again. And again and again!!! Epilepsy- inducing and displays an utter lack of taste. Shouting commentary is wearying.
Young's voice is wearying.
Super Neil Young fan, from his debut solo album. Tried to follow him even in his freakiest moments and he is still rocking till the end. Like your videos but please ditch that crummy background musical accompaniment lol
I removed my comment cause I thought some guy was gonna cry
You know who you are
Hush child, don't cry 😎
Don't Cry No Tears Around Me.
are you having a melt down? Neil's authoritarian vibes finally got to you? Is this supposed to be a quote from his lyrics?
How stoned do I need to be to understand the narrative being spun here? I'm pretty stoned. It still seems like someone impossibly more stoned than me put this together. Well done!
He sold out to the devil and he married to Daryl Hannah who is a man its harder to maintain or my belief always is the real 9ne is gone and a plastic looking person because it's to hide y they look so different
@@danialsteele6302 I guess Darryl Hanna was the Heart Of Gold he was ingoing about and he just dropped his wife for her. Seemed to drop all the old values. Now he's working for Phizer isn't he?

Cry Baby
"Some of his popular albums are Trans , Greendale" yeah, ok
Meanwhile, back at the fortress…Neil and Daryl ponder the fate of those who won’t secure a place in the club. . . . NAAAAH
Just "rocking in the free world"......
Keep Rock-en in the Real World

who cares if Neil Young went fascist! His music is still good even through I think the person is a total sell out.
Trans album one of his most popular lol
I understand that during a Interview he had done decades ago he made a comment that he had to keep making music because he made a deal with someone or something.
Lol
I am coming to you from Neil's birthplace, Pickering, Ontario. Neil comes in second for individual artists in my heart. Second only to Dylan. Have you done a video on Dylan?
You can't be for censorship & rocking in the free world , at the same time Neil...those 2 don't mix ! 😊
Marine father to my walk our sons home
Hey Cuz just wanna mention all the songs you did about cars man? That’s kind of global warming dude!
Not a very coherent or definitive bio. It barely mentions Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, easily the best known band he belonged to, while Buffalo Springfield gets numerous mentions. His work individually with members of CSNY is also missed. The various cars he owns, not particularly important in any event, is probably a “changing feast” that tells us little about him (other than he likes funky vintage cars).
Neil is a God!
He is NOT and that's for sure but good music
god is god and neil is neil.don`t confuse the things. he
´s just another poor guy.
Nope, I'm pretty sure Neil is God! LOL
@@dannymartin8203 o.k. o.k. danny, cool down. i feel, you are fancy guy . listen to cinemongirl and join it, but you should not pray to him, or her. nice time and the best for all of us!
Neil is God in the same manner, in which Clapton is God, to the English back in 1969.
I’m glad he still has Broken Arrow

too much talking about dollars...thats boring..
Is this about what neil owns, perhaps you should speak about Neil's achievements in music for God's sake.
Tax the rich

He quit supporting The Bridge School after he left Pegi. 😿😿
