I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
I bought my Timecutter the second year that MyRide had come out, and it's probably just one of those "hidden inflation" deals, but almost all of the stuff you're talking about that the Titan has is sitting on my Timecutter. The hour meter, battery over the wheel, chain holding up the deck, the deck pedal and quick deck height select, and even the way you select the suspension of the seat, are all the same as the Titan. Mine also came with the 26 horsepower Kawasaki. If I had to buy one today, I'd definitely go Titan, but I've been cutting a very rough 27 acre field for years and I've never had any issues at all. So much so that the tractor I spent more for the mower deck than the entire Timecutter got sold because I couldn't be bothered to use it. Definitely love my Toro!
They used to have Timecutter hd and Titan hds that are now re-branded as Titans and z masters. The most important thing to know to look at is the Transmissions and they will tell you what level it is equivalent to right now.
I just bought my first ZTR mower last week. I went with the 50" My-Ride unit. It is definitely the most comfortable ride I have ever experienced mowing grass. Today I installed a mulch kit. I'm looking forward to trying it out.
Great job showing and telling, learning I am did not know about the things you showed. Thanks for sending me this video and yes I’ll subscribe. See ya next time see ya bye toro
Very nice and well done video, it does shows you care about explaining each detail, I have seen several of your videos .....I do own a 2007 Z 500 Z master, that needs a replacement because it would be mower expensive to try to rebuilt everything in it besides that you can't find most of the parts anymore, 😒 because it has lasted me a long time and has performed very well.... And don't know where your store is at, but I'm in the market a buying a Z master and considering the 4000...I'm in central Florida and have not yet seen a store as nice as yours with all those different models to select from. In fact Have not even seen a 4000 model with the My Ride option, only with the Deluxe Suspension Seat.
Dang covid and supply chain issues sure have jacked up prices on 4000 to 6000 series mowers. Almost 20k is a ridiculous price for that 6000 series my ride mower. Just 3 years ago you could have gotten that 6000 series mower fot around 15 grand.
They don't offer armrests at all for the 2000. I just picked mine up today. Also, my 2000 has a Toro motor. It DOES have a fully serviceable transmission. It had a filler neck and filter. I'm not sure why your model doesn't, but they apparently do offer one because here mine sets. You absolutely don't throttle up when shutting off the Toro on the 2000. Just the opposite according to the dealer and manual. The throttle up is on some of the Time Cutters only. Thanks for the video. This really helped me narrow some things down. 🍻
I live in Florida I don’t need a snowblower. But if you could put some type of leaf blower or grass blower on the front end of that thing, that would be interesting.
Just started this season with 2 new 4000 series 35hp Kawasaki’s and zt5400 transmission they are good so far only about 60hours on mine. Hope it holds up like the old 3000s and 5000s also won’t be buying another kohler engine.
Out of curiosity, did you have any issues out of your kohler engines or do you just prefer the kawasaki engine? I thought Kohler made good engines is why I ask.
@@johnlowe1061 never had any failures with them but the efi gave us a little trouble on them. Little service light would flash and it’d lose power every once in a while….if not for the emissions on them I think they’d do better but Was just aggravating. Also just didn’t have the pick up and torque like the Kawasaki’s. But put over 1000 hours on 2 kohlers with that being the only issue
There should be a way to service that 3400 on the 2000 series. May not be a reservoir but there should be an accessible fill port at least. A reservoir makes it easier, but just because it doesnt have one doesnt mean its not serviceable. The 2800 on the Titan is also technically serviceable but the place to fill it is a pain to get to and the transmission should last the life of the machine anyway. We have been Toro dealers for 20+ years and we are still waiting on our 2023 2000 series models to come in to really study them. Will also say we've sold a buttload of those Toro motors over the years and aside from the oil drain hose issue we've seen very few issues. Especially the models with the heavy duty filter.

Toro is made by exmark the deck is the only difference
Other way around, actually.
Our firm is a main dealer in uk for toro , we sell these but most are greens mowers like 3100 s + workman truck , I tend do pdi these buetey s but they always never have enough hydro oil , always check after a run up , should be about 5 ml ABOVE THE BOTTOM OF THE HYDRO TANK , NEVER OVER FILL great machines though , once we had a cub cadet with a 1000 cc Kawasaki engine , it was a wheelie machine for sure , why you’d need such power is insane , toro are better machines without a doubt 👍🙂
I'm looking for a titan service able kawasaki zero turn contact me thanks cash on hand

Great job 👏
