Always call with questions before you arrive at an unfamiliar place. I’m a flatbed driver and we never have the benefit of docks. The straps and/or load locks is the drivers responsibility.
you need to get your trailer aligned. just like your front end alignment, you can get your trailer axles aligned to make sure they are running straight down the road. Do you notice you can see more of your trailer in one mirror than the other? My hotshot trailer tires were looking like that. Just one axle and mostly on the left side, front tires. Had it aligned and never had a wear issue again.
Keep it up yousiff enjoy watching your channel, Im about to start training for my CDL I start Monday and I can't wait to join the trucking world. I love your message when you say hard work will always triumph any situation that's giving you trouble.
On straps. I can’t see attachment points on phone. Find a mesh/net type chunk of cloth. Sew in straps hook one side, tighten other. Or buy them. I never saw a push broom? A 36” push broom to sweep out trailer, some kind of shovel/dustpan is good. I have seen battery leaf blowers used. (But IMO NOT polite unless you are far from others) That Warner truck. He might have a pickup, delivery much later. If I have to go thru major city. I would rather take a break then fight height of rush hours traffic. Resting a extra hour might only cost me 20 minutes on the road. While increasing mpg, decreasing stress, wear & tear
hey yousiff would love to see a video on the differences between flatbed and dryvan and which is better for business! pay rate, downtime between shippers and recievers, labor and anything else you find worth talking about!
Are you chasing money or different types of jobs. I think it really boils down to what you want to do. If you're after the money, head over to oversize or pulling windmills
That driver outside rear tandem tire with uneven wear and hi-lo inside wear also looks like it’s dry rotted from being being flat for a period of time. It’s likely to blow soon and probably might take that mud flap with it. I suggest you change it before it is too late. One bad pot hole and it’s done for. But congrats on the trailer. Looks good 👍
On you hotshot time you did a video explaining a 30 day gross and net pay, I’ve been following since the beginning and would like a video like that about the semi, and how to maximize the profit, I’ve seen alot of people complaining about trucking but you do a different way and that’s why you succeed, thanks and drive safe.
Trailer mechanic for more than 24 years here, I saw you point out at the irregular wearing in the tires, this could be cause by many issues, but the most common are bearing end play is loose ,a leaking wheel seal with bad bearings and races the other issue could be a mistmatch tires meaning your trailer got a virgin and a recap mixed together, have someone you trust to check the bearings end play and the mistmatch tires, yes you can have virgin and recaps in that trailer but not mixed together, your either put 2 recaps together or 2 virgis tires, also if in fact is a leaking wheel seal, i will recommend you buy your own wheel seal and go for the steamco discover don't go for steamco voyager, i know is cheaper than the discover, but i try both of them and the discover is by far the best, also buy the zip torque axle nut, instead of the pro torque nut and other thing every time you take your truck to a shop make sure they don't used the Big air impact wrench, i mean they can used it to take the lug nuts off but not to tighten, used the torque wrench instead or a pneumatic air torque wrench and torqued to 500lbs, using the torquing sequence if is a 10 stud hub start with the 12 o'clock, 6o'clock etc, you don't want to call a axle surgeon, if anything happens to that side of the wheel seal. Stay safe and God bless you brother.
8:40 DRIVER you are ALWAYS responsible for securing your load....you will NEVER see this on your rate con.....It amazes me how many drivers are in the drivers seat while their truck is being loaded. You are the captain of that ship and should be monitoring the loading process!
When leaving the truck, even to check you trailer, lock your doors. Also before opening you trailer doors check surroundings, then open and LATCH you trailer door for your safety and others.
You should have filmed backing into the dock. You got to show the struggle..keep us interested.dont be embarrassed 85% of truck drivers are bad backers..takes years in tight spot
Congratulations! Take your time back up and turning. Try your best not to do U turns. If you take a wrong turn, stop as soon as possible and look at the map, relax and continue. Do your pre trips, check your tires often. If something breaks, fix it ASAP. Before going to shippers/receivers, look the satellite map and make sure you know how to pull in to the property or just call them and ask for directions. Drive safe and be kind to others!
The tire wear is due to alignment issues. Since you are going to be pulling your flatbed I would definitely get an alignment done on the trailer. Tires cost too much and plus the alignment is only a couple of hundred bucks.
Get used to the long load and unload times Yousef, i’ve been pulling a drive-in for about a month now I switched from cars and that’s the hardest part. Some shippers load you very quickly but most take hours. You kept mentioning taking the trailer to a Utility dealer but he said it’s a Great Dane trailer is that the same company like Freightliner and western star? Prices are so crazy it’s a shame that you paid more than the normal new price and have tire issues already. Stay safe brother
Where do you park your truck and trailers when there not being used? Do you have a yard or do you park them at home? Also when a truck needs repairs do you always get them repaired from dealerships?
Use a Truck GPS not just Google maps also use Truckee path to figure out where to sleep.. and don't use back roads alot it's a waste of time you can go much faster and safer on the interstates oh and get more straps and load bars. Some places want load bars some want straps. Better to have both
Hey buddy. I was concerned about the salvage trailer acquisition. Was the title stated salvage or was it branded as such? Did you have to get it inspected? Which State did you license it in? Thanks. Great channel bro@
Let me give you some advice, when you deliver at a Walmart they will jump the line and there is nothing you can do about it. Company trucks unload first, and it not just Walmart.
What ever you do. Don’t buy supplies from a truck stop. You’ll pay 2-3x more. Get your 2 inch e-straps from Amazon. I got a 8pk for $70. Truck stops sell them 2 for $30.
Salam Yousiff, Hope all is well brother, I m in the middle of getting my cdl hopefully in couple of months, will you be able to train me as your team driver? Im in Baltimore, Thanks
Hi yousif . Thank you so much for all the information and the vedio and the motivation. My name is Omar I'm from Las Vegas I just my CDL and truck and Authority thanks to you I would appreciate it if I could get in touch with you I would like a little help I want to work for you. Please let me know how can I contact you. Many Thanks
Hi yousif...nice video.. I wanted to ask you do you book your own loads or do you use a dispatch service? Nice trailer..but if you had a older trailer would you still get loads, maybe like this one?
Ok so are you helping driver get to the next level or you just want ratings? Truckers questions... How much? Where? How? Etc.... Oh so I'll give you what you want to here then.... oh your the man, congrats on your new purchases, 👏🙌👌 pat on your back... way to go bro... fluff smoke 🌞☀️⛅sunshine
Hi Youssef, from your Turkish friend in FL. You are an inspiration to all, in my opinion. I will receive my CDL A in a month`s time. I bought a new Ram 3500 dually. I am following on your steps, to be honest. I want to learn flatbed trucking. Are you open to me working under your authority with my Ram? My plan is to move to SEMI after I get some experience and grow my business hopefully. How can I get in touch with you? Best.
It's all fun and games out there in the wilds of NM until you hear the banjo music. ;-)
Congrats on your growing fleet of trucks/trailers.
driver always responsible to secure the load That is the professional way to make sure Is everything secure before you take off
Always call with questions before you arrive at an unfamiliar place. I’m a flatbed driver and we never have the benefit of docks. The straps and/or load locks is the drivers responsibility.
No docks would be a fun adventure. Never know what you're going to get until you get there.
Ill remember this bout to jump in the Industry thanks for the infor..
Those are regular cargo straps. Buy some etrack straps. They are designed for those rails and they work well.
Hell yea
Yousiff you’re the man. Love hearing you talking about the “hose ain’t loyal” 🤣🤣
Make sure you get a lock 🔐 to secure your trailer door.
All dry van/refrigerated loads must be secured with straps or load locks. You can actually be fined by d.o.t if you don't.

@@ontheroad7097 what microphone are you using that connects to the phone?
Nice of that guy to back up like that for you

I know he did a video comparing 1st month hot shot vs 1st month in the semi just go back and look for it.
Glad to see you back! God Bless!

All facts
No matter what equipment you pull, Load securing is always driver responsibility.
Weather is gonna be difficult this end of December. Take care Yousiff.

Love the brand new trailer..
It's well worth the wait but I'll be honest with you, I am looking forward to you returning to multiple videos a week.
Inside of your truck is neat
Pennsylvania for me is a scary place to drive. That in West Virginia. I've gone over some pretty crazy mountains in those areas
Me in a car and hate them mountains
Welcome back ...love the content you share....hopefully one day to meet up with you..be safe on the open highway..

Hey Rogan logistics how do you go from moving with a flat bed to a dry van? Do you need to call your insurance and update them on this change?
HES ALIVE !!!!!
Good luck my dear yossef

Been a while bro . Hope all is well 👍
Everything is going well!
Where've you been Yousiff?! Been missing the vlogs
I know, I have been just busy grindin
Did you ever find out what the inner wear of the trailer tires was caused by my trailer has the same issue?
Haha it’s called a herd of deer Yusuf wolves roll on in packs lol

Would love to drive your flatbed truck. 3 years flatbed experience ran all 48
That Walmart driver knew you were next they thought it you was not going catch them trying to cut
Was that a heavy load, if not why have your wheels so far forward
The shipping/receiving person often stocks the line, dumps the debris dumpster, and puts inventory away.

I was concerned about the salvage trailer acquisition.

What are you using for a microphone?
While you were behind the trlr why didn't you open your doors and just back in
Let me give you some advice, when you deliver at a Walmart they will jump the line and there is nothing you can do about it. Company trucks unload first, and it not just Walmart.
Camera up your trucks so you can watch your drivers
What was wrong with the trailer after all wat was fixed on it?
What's up? Am interested in becoming truck driver but have never driven any car. I live in Massachusetts, any advice please?
Where do you pray salah during trucking? Make a video please!
Dry van and refeer got to much waiting time I heard, I would’ve been on their ass telling them why is taking so long, good thing I do flatbed
get a load bar or even a pillow
13:14 paneer is basically cottage cheese in india😆

Those are not right straps either, that’s for pick up trucks.
How is your fuel mileage compared to flat bed trailer?
