Back in Tekken 3, Paul's unblockable on counter hit was a one hit K.O. But now it's one of the lowest in Tekken 8.
It's kinda sad.

@@patrickbateman1974 Tbf, I'm still happy with Paul now. I played the demo, and he felt truly fresh. I love his New attacks. And he's still very op in general. Only that one ko move not anymore.

As a Jin main, I still haven't mentally recovered from his unlockable going from 100dmg in Tekken 5 to 70dmg from Tekken 6 onwards

tekken 5 jin was that dude 0.0 i remember when his just frame 214 was safe on block. he also had that crazy down forward 4 that wallsplats
@@exiledhebrew1994 Yeah but he's still arguably the weakest version of Jin, lows were trash. He didn't have magic 4 yet. Zen 1 didn't have any follow-ups. But nerfing him like hell is kind of a normal reaction by Bamco after realizing how broken they made him in T4. He was still fun to play tho and remember kids don't simp for tiers, play whatever character you find the coolest whatever the circumstances
@@z3us_81 true; but I still like doing 1321 mix ups in tekken 7; but it’s just not the same. Tekken 4 was awesome all around, the stages had objects and different types of terrain. I remember the floor wasn’t always level on every stage which caused these weird scenarios were you could fight uphill or around objects like trees. I don’t know why; tekken lost that creative aspect of the game. Tekken 4 felt way more grounded and realistic because of the environment and gameplay.

Asuka Kazama, one of the most physically gifted character, the girl that broke Eddy Gordo's every single rib with one punch in the Tetsuman Comics, the girl that slapped the beejezus out of Jin Kazama who is the strongest character to exist in Tekken universe, does the least frickin damage. I love it

They all barely tickle the opponent. Where are the times when they would deal ~80% of damage?
They needed some of these characters too much. Law, Paul, and a few others got weaker. Lee Chaolan 2nd unblockable got weak since Tekken 4, but for the others it is kind of sad

Not gonna lie, Paul's unblockable deals less damage than in tekken 7 . Still a cool animation tho.
Way less. I dont know if it gives you heat burst or heat dash but for this low damage it better. My mans identity is in shambles!
It deals less damage because u can cancel it into back sway or forward and you can use it in heat and it’s way better now. I’d say useable

I see that unblockables are getting nerfed heavily on dmg per generation of tekken. It seems that they're not really worth the risk anymore.

The regular unblockables from neutral seem to be a lot less damage just in general.

Jack 8. kinda works like yoshis where is you charge it enough you can one shot someone but Noone would ever get a chance to get it off unless the other person was asleep
