This is my go to Disney hotel. Have stayed here on 4 different occasions. The view I get is always amazing can see both Epcot & Hollywood studios fireworks (worth upgrading about $120 dollars over a 5 night stay including TAX) the convenience of being able to walk to Hollywood studios in just over 5mins is everything/being able to use the water taxi is always a lovely experience. Staff are great & helpful. Worth staying here for sure don’t be put of by the “non Disney brand” you still get most of the benefits of being at an official Disney hotel
I’m so glad you enjoy the Disney Dolphin Resort, Thomas B. I couldn’t agree with you more! Both the Dolphin and Swan have a lot to offer and are a great value in comparison to the Disney owned Boardwalk area hotels (Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, and Yacht Club). Thanks for watching and have a great day! 😎
We are DVC members and we are currently at Disney. We decided to extend our stay however, no rooms left on Disney property DVC or regular pay rooms. Disney informed me they had availability at Dolphin only. I decided to extend and stay here. We check in on Thursday this is not my ideal hotel but it will work I guess. They upgraded us to a balcony as well so hopefully it will be better than a standard room. Thank you for your video it kind of made me feel better to see the room.
Thank you for the positive feedback, HappilyEverDevines. I’m so glad you found my Disney Dolphin video helpful! I promise, there isn’t anything to worry about at the Dolphin. It’s definitely not the same as a DVC villa, but the Dolphin does have a lot going for it including a great location, some excellent restaurants, and a nice pool area. I recommend trying Il Mulino if you have time. Thanks again for your support and have a great day! 😎
Thank you for the positive feedback, Cynthia. I’m so glad you found my Disney Dolphin Resort video helpful! Thanks again for your support and have a great day! 😎
Thank you for the positive feedback, Clean Living in Crete. I’m so glad you found my video helpful! The Disney Dolphin’s 2 double bed rooms can technically sleep up to 5 guests. The fifth guest has to sleep on a rollaway bed. I believe they charge an extra $25 USD per night for it. Thanks again for your support and have a great day! 😎
We just visited the dolphin a few weeks ago. Not the biggest fan of the dolphin other than location. I like breakfast and there wasnt really a good fast casual breakfast option. Also I don't like how the magic bands can't be linked to the room for spending on parks (yes they aren't Disney) but would be worth figuring something out
Hi Josh Mackos - Financial Freedom, thanks for watching my Disney Dolphin Resort video! I agree with you, the Disney Dolphin’s best attribute is it’s Boardwalk location. I’ve stayed at all of them and I prefer the Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club or Yacht Club myself. But the Dolphin and Swan do have some positives and certain travelers really love them. As you pointed out, they could definitely be improved with more casual food options and linking to magic bands. Thanks again and have a great day! 😎
Wow I loved these videos I watched this one and thr swan resort one. I know they are fairly close to each other and some people confuse the 2. Me and my mom need a decision made by tonight. Should we stay here or at the swan? We have 2 kids if that makes a difference. Tell us!!! Lol !
Thank you for the positive feedback, andrea bengoa. I’m so glad you found my Disney Dolphin video helpful! Okay, first you can’t go wrong with either the Dolphin or Swan. But there are three real differences to consider. Do you plan on spending time at the pool? If so, the Dolphin has better pool access. The Swan rooms have 2 queen beds versus the Dolphin rooms have 2 full size beds. If your kids are older, they may need the bigger beds at the Swan. Finally, what vibe do you want? The Dolphin is much bigger and busier and the Swan is more reserved. It’s a tough call but I hope that helps. Thanks again for your support and have a great day! 😎
the swan definitely sounds like a better pick for us! We will have a 3 year old and a 1 year old by the time we go. It'll be Dec 2021 , do you know if the swan has any 2 bedroom suites? I've been looking but can't seem to find any but thr presendential. It will be my mom, dad, myself, hubby, and our 2 baby's. We would fit comfortably in a place that had separated room that were still very close to each other.
Yes, the Swan does have 1 or 2 bedroom suites they call Grand Suites. They feature two standard guest rooms connected via a parlor suite. The parlor suite has a living room with pullout couch, a dining area, wet bar, and extra bathroom. I believe they sleep up to 8 guests. You have to call to book. You’re going to have such a great trip!
Hi Barb Szewczyk, a balcony room with a view sounds lovely! What room category at the Dolphin did you book? You’ll want to book a deluxe balcony room with an Epcot or Resort View. After that, I recommend calling the Dolphin to add a room request for #3025 or similar. I hope that helps and have a great day! 😎
Hi Fox Playz, thanks for watching my video! Yup, this video is on the Disney Dolphin Resort at Walt Disney World in Florida. I hope you found it helpful and have a great day! 😎
Hi Alma Eligio, thanks for watching my video! Yes, the pools at the Disney Dolphin Resort are currently open with social distancing requirements in place. I hope you found this helpful and have a great day! 😎

Thank you for watching! Have you stayed at Disney's Dolphin Resort? If so, what did you think? If not, is it on your "bucket list"? 😎
Will be staying at the dolphin for marathon weekend
The Dolphin is a perfect choice for marathon weekend, PBo716! Wishing you a wonderful stay. 🐬🦢😎

That’s wonderful @Cjjaggerduke! Did you get a great room? How’s your stay at the Disney Dolphin been so far? Have a great time. 😎🐬🌴
Great video! Thanks. I read that these rooms sleep 5. How is that possible? Thanks.

That’s awesome, you’re very welcome! Glad you found my video helpful.
From the Disney Dolphin Resort you can either walk or boat to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. There are buses to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom.
