Very informative and helpful. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Park Prodigy, great video! In terms of long-term value, what are your thoughts on stays at these Marriot resorts utilizing Bonvoy benefits versus purchasing a DVC contract? I just got my Marriot CC because it seems like better value than the Disney CC that I've been using for the last year. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
So I do own a DVC contract but many of my friends have told me that it doesn't make much sense financially compared to other investments. With that being said I'm a huge Disney fan so I didn't buy it as an investment and I trust my friends that they are most likely right. I also have the Marriott CC and I use both to visit so I think you will really enjoy it!
Happy Birthday 🎂 to Swan 🦢 Resort ⛵ Blessings and Hugs 💜💜
My wife and I have stayed at each of these resorts multiple times. They are by far the best bargains "on property". Now that our kids are grown, the Swan Reserve is our favorite. New, clean, adult dining options, etc.
Re pricing - the Dolphin has such erratic swings b/c it is a conference hotel.
So glad you love them too!
Why is the Swan Reserve your favorite? We stayed at the Swan last time but we were definitely considering the Reserve for a second.
@@gogoguerras Property is new. Bathrooms are much larger. Property is quiet, more adult (our kids are grown). Still get all the amenities of the Dolphin/Swan since right across street.
@@bernarddiggins5404 it sounds great - we'll have to check it out next time for sure!
The the character dining do you need reservations for that one or any of the restaurants in the three hotels or are they walk up?
We always suggest to make a reservation!
Thank you for this video! I would like to request a video (unless you already have a video up please share 😊). Could you please do a video on detailed best way on how to get to all the parks from Swan/Dolphin Hotels via car or walk or complimentary Disney transportations? (Note: we are driving so we will have a car as an option to potentially drive to/from the parks)
We stay here when we visit WDW and we always walk over to one of the Disney Resorts (Yacht or Beach Club) and catch one of their busses to get to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. We walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. You can also take the boats, they pick up right in front of the hotel. It's super easy.
@@dickersonci thank you! Its our first time and pretty overwhelmed with how massive Disney World is. We usually go to Disneyland often and it’s just a 1 min walk to each park lol.
We plan on doing the early entry, would it be best to take the complimentary bus transportation or drive to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom?
Thanks for watching! We do recommend using the Disney transportation to get to the parks as it is the easiest way. You can walk to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios and take a bus to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom!
@@TheParkProdigy thank you! All your videos have been super helpful during my well in advance planning. 😊 just want to make sure my t’s are crossed and i’s dotted.
Thanks again!
@@joycer7hey! What did you decide to do for early entry? I’m thinking for ubering to animal kingdom for early entry and then using buses and walking for the other parks!
Do they offer marshmallow toasting in the evening at this resort like they do at other disney hotels?
We're going to Disney in two years and were originally planning on staying at the Pop Century. After doing some research, I think we're gonna stay at the Dolphin. Might be cheaper, but with deluxe resort perks. The only drawback is the resort fee per day.
We love the Dolphin!
Yea I just got done staying there 3 weeks ago, I’ve stayed at all the deluxe resorts and I believe the swan and dolphin give great perks for price. I think it’s where I’ll be staying from now on at Disney world. Definitely should not be slept on. They even offered to add an additional room when we got there for $99 a night.
Why would you even consider pop century lmao its a glorified motel lmaooo
The swan and dolphin are literally 2 the best hotels in Disney, they let you feel like you went away on vacation and you can walk on the boardwalk at night the pool amenities etc are top tier! I’ve stayed at literally every top hotel at Disney/universal area and nothing compares to feeling like an actual “getaway”
@@LordHyperi0n I agree. Lol
My daughter loves Disney World
So much fun!!
My one big dislike is the small bathrooms. I mean I have been on cruise ships with larger bathrooms
I never thought about it, but you're absolutely right!
Swan website says character breakfast is suspended
Yes, it is still unavailable. I apologize for including it in my notes as I remembered it from years past and appreciate you supporting our channel!
I’m at the Dolphin right now. They’re not fooling anyone, it’s a carp, not a dolphin.
Lol very good observation.
Does the Swan offer views of HS or Epcot?
You may see parts of Epcot/Hollywood studios in some rooms at the Swan
We could see part of the Spaceship Earth at EPCOT and a few fireworks out by the grotto pool which was really cool!
No 1 BR?
The Dolphin and Swan Reserve offer 1 BR suites for sure!
6 mins in and why for a video titled Dolphin vs Swan, do you keep bringing up Swan Reserve....
Hi, thanks so much for checking out our video! It's really a complete guide to all three!
Crazy expensive hotel! Not worth it.
The boats are called friendship boats 🛥️ that take you from resort to parks
Thank you!!
@TheParkProdigy water taxi for short 😂
