I’ve found using a 5/16” wooden dowel with a single layer of 320-400grit sandpaper wrapped around it is THE ABSOLUTE PERFECT SIZE for the channel area where guide rod goes on a PF940SC(G26) and since the SC frame DOES ACCEPT GEN 4 Slides 'OTB' I figured it was worth mentioning. So You want to use a file or something more aggressive until you can just fit dowel in, then polish up any marks starting with 320-400/600/800/1200grits and finishing with ANY Auto detail plastic restore spray or MAXIMA SC1 spray will have that 1st Time Factory Finsh!
To touch on this , after extensive research I’ve found a generation 4 Glock frame is thee best frame to own if you’re wanting to run multiple generation slides on one frame. Seems a gen4 frame allows Gen 5 slides and Gen 3 slides with an adaptor for the guide rod (strike Industires) to fit flush in the tang of the Gen 4 due to a small spacing on frame to Gen 3 slide. So conclusion if you’re wanting to run multiple slides on one decked out frame it’s a Gen 4
@@JT-xi7el I need a different barrel now ? Why won’t it accept a gen 5 though I see a decent amount of UA-camrs putting on a gen 5 23 or a gen 5 45 slide
@@JaredC3692 sometimes how the barrel locks into the frame it hits and doesn’t fully seat. I’d suggest use a training back plate incase it gets stuck on the frame if forced you have a way to release trigger to remove it
Negative, there is literally a video on the website that sells them that shows you install it to the slide not the spring. I can post the link if you want to watch
Can someone help me I have a question, so I have a fully built g26 but want a g27, do I have to change the whole slide and upper parts or can I use the same slide and upper parts and just get a new .40 barrel ?
The extractor isn’t the same between the g26 and g27 that being said the frames are the same size. Same goes for the Glock 19 & 23. You’re better off buying a complete frame for the swap unless you really want to try and keep track of all the small parts you need for the swap. Barrel, extractor, mags.
@@thepoorsareintoguns Thanks a bunch! :) I see Jagerwerks even does swaps where you send in your own slide and they swap the furniture over to one of their pre-made ones. Very cool!
It's the old t Rex arms holster. The new one which is the only one you can find now it doesn't work with Polymer80s. However they do work with normal Glocks
I probably have like 200 rounds. It hasn't cracked but I wouldn't do this now that you can find legit Glocks for $500. It just seems like a ton of hassle to not save much money. Also I recently put together a Glock 17 polymer 80, all P80 parts and it doesn't want to cycle (everything is put together correctly and it hand cycles). I've been kinda disappointed with them lately

Where do you get adapter?
Do you use a gen4 frame parts kit?
Ever found out? Does the gen 4 just go in the p80s
You supposed to install the adapter to your recoil spring

Gen 4 LPK's are impossible to get right now unfortunately
They have never been impossible to get. You just have to look in places that others don't know exist
will a gen 4 27 slide with glock internals fit a gen 3 26 p80 frame?
does a gen 3 glock 19 slide work on a pf940cv1???
I think it does. I'd check P80 Ralphs videos to see if he's done a video on that
P80s are made for gen 3, no modding required.

I think you need a whole new slide going from 9mm to 40 but if it started as a g27 going to a g26, they make conversion barrels for 40 to 9

Can I put a g19 glock slide on my g19 gen 3 p80
Yea
Are those way more reliable with a p80 bottom and a Glock slide
It depends generally the oem glock parts are better but as long as you know what you're doing, it might make more sense to go thr aftermarket route
Will a gen 5 slide work on a p80?
I don't believe so
Where'd you get your slide optic cut? Are they still in business?
I have a G19 Gen4 and want to mount a Vortex or Holosun.
I got mine cut at a place called culper precision but I've heard jagerwerks is solid

It doesn’t work Idk how this dude got his 19 frame to work but most people running gen 4 are using 26/27 or 17/22 Frames
I’m doing it now and You have to dremel out to much you start to see light through the frame where you would attach a light/laser
