  • In the workplace, if your boss doesn’t like you, it can lead to a lot of tension, stress, and limited opportunities for you. They might find fault in everything you do or refuse to promote you, all because your boss doesn't like you. Some people might decide to quit and find another job. But there are others who love their job and want to keep it, so they'd rather find a way to get their boss to like them. That's who this video is for!
There are a number of things you can do to get your boss to like you. But first, you need to understand the concept of like in a professional vs a personal context. Because it's possible your boss does like you as a professional but because they're not acting like they're best friends with you, you think they don't like you. In this video, I explain this difference as well as six things you can do to get your boss to like you.

Profoundly beneficial facts detailed in this presentation. Everyone who listens and watches this will recognise how exact the points are. I guess the most difficult part to being "liked" by the boss is to know the expectations of the boss which would lead to the boundaries that the boss has (pending on their level of professionalism and interactive willingness?). Terrific as usual 👌 Kara. Thankyou.

Congratulations 👏 to me dragging for your boss to like it means you don't know your responsibility in the job or company.
And also to ask boss or core workers,of what they expect from is the beginning to loose respect and star submitting your self to them.
To me the only way to makes your boss like you is by helping him makes the company more valuable in the market and for the core workers try to study their reactions smartly on whatever things you are doing with them.

All the ideas proposed in this video are good and really functional but what about you have a toxic boss?? You would try your best effort each day to achieve the results with good intentions and you’ll never be rewarded by him/her

What if the boss is a difficult boss? That is, a boss with ultra-high expectations, too low or even no expectations or even fluctuating expectations?

My understanding if you working for company and you fallowing company policies bosses have to like you. The rest when bosses not like me I don’t care because I’m specialist my company needs me if bosses not like me company loose. If bosses not like me because that bosses listening wrong information from their favorite guys who jealous. Hard working employees never doing something special so bosses will like them. Hard working employers always giving more than they deserve. The advice you giving it’s not for employees who are working hard and fallow the company policy. The advice you giving for people who are lazy don’t know the job well and not fallow the company policies that’s why I call them kissing ass to keep the position.

Bosses just need buttering. Whatever they say, we need to accept even it is foolish. Then you will get good rating . But I don't blame all of them. I had a boss who was good in technical and managing team too. He was friendly too. Listening the team members issue and fixing them is a sign of good boss. It is not required to make boss like u. It is required that the team members should get inspired from the boss

I thought it was important that your Boss doesn’t like you. He motivates you with the more difficult tasks and labor learns more painfully.

This is silly. You can't spend your career trying to get your boss to like you. You have 2 interviews to assess your future boss. You can determine which of the 4 personality types they are after those 2 meetings. In the first 3-6 months, you can narrow it down to 1 of the 16 types. Determine your personality types and determine if you can work with this person. Use your interviews to interview your future boss. I dont care if my boss likes me or not. The question is, do you make him / her look good? Are you generating revenue for the team? Are you value for money? Do not work late. There is always more work and youll look like you cant manage time. Get in 1 hour early. Make strategic alliances with the most powerful people in the office. Often, this is the Director's PA. Go for drinks, but dont be a drunk.

Very correct. A jealous boss expects you to lose always.
So that he can demean you.
