Some beautiful pieces. Lovely to find another creative who loves natural textures and colours. I also love the colours of sludge and bruises! I am not great at knitting but am really inspired by your jumpers, paritcularly the pear green one.
Absolutely loved watching, whilst sitting at my kitchen table this Sunday morning, taking apart 2 soft cotton blouses to make some handkerchiefs, to pratice sewing on my machine, before I sew together my first dress, the Merchant and Mills Trapeze dress xx
Loved watching this Lorna ☺️ really love how you layered the Lea Bias dress with your white t-shirt and waistcoat! 👏🏼 also loved seeing your lovely sewing space x
I love that lime-kind-of green! And with the gray corduroy dress. ❤️ Not sure when I realized how much I like green. All the greens. I will certainly look forward to your next podcast on autumn makes.
You are so inspiring. I would love to have a completely handmade wardrobe. I love all your knits actually I love it all. Such a lovely relaxing video ❤❤
Nailed yet another vid. Can we take a moment to admire the pattern matching on your red dress?! You’re so inspiring particularly in terms of conscientious sewing and being aware of over consumption
Thanks so much! I love my red Etta Dress, I'm glad it worked our because the little patterns were printed all over the place 😅 its hard to resist wanting to make all the things, but doing videos like this make me realise I already have lots of useful pieces!
i love getting all my me made clothes out and see what i can wear for the new season so i am pleased to see you do another compilation! your stone colour miller waistcoat looks gorgeous!! i cant wait to see that video. i am SO looking forward to cooler weather!!
Thanks for sharing these makes! 🍁 I really liked the kind of surprising colour of pear green paired with the more earthy toned colours! I also think that as I’ve started to knit and sew, the most fun aspect is combining different structures of fabric.
Yes, me too! It's quite bright, but seems to go well with lots of earthy colours. I find making these videos really helpful for trying out things like that, and combining different textures 😊 I'd agree with you that it's one of the most fun parts!
I love that you include hand knits in your capsule wardrobe. I'm waaay older than you are, so the minis just wouldn't suit, but the items worn with the hand knits have given me some great ideas for my own autumn wardrobe.
Lovely! Thank you for sharing your wardrobe! Dressing for the transition from summer to fall has always been tricky for me! I really enjoyed your ideas and styling.
Thanks for sharing your lovely makes, Lorna. I really like your colour palette possibly because I’m an Autumn too. Just a tip, when I try to put on something that is a little tight over my head I start from the back of my head (known as the occiput) as if I was a baby being born 😂 It may sound odd but that’s the smallest diameter of your head and the rest of the head should get through more easily. I’m a midwife and that is how babies are born so I used to do that with my children when they were babies (they certainly have big heads!) and it made things easier so I now do it myself if the neckband is a little tight 😅
That is an excellent tip, thank you! I used to be a medic and this has never occurred to me!! I will definitely do this next time 😊 nice to have a fellow Autumn here too 🍂
Good morning! This was lovely. I love the palettes and silhouettes that you create. They are all feminine and appropriate for all settings. Would you wear tall boots and knee socks with the dark grey mini skirt? I can see some hand knit stockings making that outfit in the colder months. Maybe you could wear it to the pub😂. Thank you for sharing your makes🌸
What a beautiful and well thought about video. I thoroughly enjoyed it and subscribed right away. Best wishes from a Canadian knitting podcaster!
Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊

Thank you 😊 I do love those colours! The jumper was fairly simple, but took a while 😊

Love your Hattie dress and the fabric is gorgeous. Your makes have a great vibe.
Thank you so much!
I was on the fence about the Leah bias dress until just now so thanks for the inspiration. Such a put together collection!
Glad it was helpful! I love the lea 😊

Thank you so much! That is a great idea - it would look lovely with some knee high boots, and I always like a reason to go to the pub!
Lovely delightful video. I've subscribed 😊
Thanks so much! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed it.
What is the pinafore dress pattern? Love layering them.
It's the McCalls M7831 😊
@@threadandyarn I thought so. Great I have that pattern and I have got into making pinafores lately.
@@silk_n_vintage_etc2643 brilliant!!
Where are the chunky shoes from? They look like they may be Docs, if so do you happen to know the name of them?
Hey 😊 they're from Solovair. I can't remember the name of the style though! I get a lot of wear out of them.
Can you link the patterns of Stoff and Still? I couldn’t find them, thanks
Hello :) there aren't any Stoff & Still patterns in the video, but I'll update the video description with the ones I've used.
