This game is the goat of Arpgs. It is masterpiece that keeps on giving 🔥
I love Grim Dawn and have over 2400 hours in it, the new world map difficulty is exactly what I wanted, as the best part of Grim Dawn is exploring the world map, finding secret dungeons, secret bosses etc. At present however, Ultimate Difficulty doesn't provide much of a challenge to lvl 100 chars decked out in legendaries and double rare monster infrequents. While Crucible(think Arena from Last Epoch) and Shattered realms(think Greater rifts from Diablo 3) provide a sufficient challenge, IMHO they aren't as fun as running around the world map finding hidden treasure. Adding the world map as a 3rd pillar of endgame, kinda feels like a Helltide(Diablo 4) that I can toggle, and I like that A LOT.
One-button Skater Shieldbreaker: spam right click, dashing non-stop through hordes. I'm not aware of any ARPG that allows a similar playstyle. And that makes Grim Dawn my GOAT.
Not going to lie, Aaron: if Crate pull this off and deliver properly, I'm not touching LE for a while 😅

D3/4, sure. But you can't shit on 1 and 2. GD is the true successor to D2.
Grim Dawn is in my top 3 arpgs and i have played them all. Can't wait.
The best is getting better! People are sleeping on the brief mention that slotting Aether Crystals into the Altar gives an XP bonus, but that *could* really speed up midgame leveling for alts if the bonus can get to 40-50% without making monsters too tanky.
Alas, it's no longer supposed to be coming this year; note that right at the bottom they say it's been pushed back to 2025.
I am so looking forward to it! Grim Dawn is tied with Diablo 2 for me as the best ARPG of all time!
Love GD, got at least 1000 hours in it. It's like if Diablo 2 and Titan quest had a baby.
Just crossed 1800 hours in GD, or 18 times what D4 has given me.

Just recently played it for the first time. The fans of the game aren’t exaggerating. It really is a top tier arpg.

Have tons of hours logged in. Love to see another ARPG to dip into always! I bounce between a few at any given time.
They say in the post that the release has been pushed to 2025....I was pretty hyped with a shapeshifting class, but now I'm just waiting to see more about it

One of my most played games overall and favourite ARPG. Don't know if I'll come back for the DLC, it's been so long I wouldn't know where to start or if my old builds are still any good. I think I also had an addon or something to help with the limited inventory and stash space.
Would love them to move on to a Grim Dawn 2 after this to modernize some of the more painful systems while retaining their signature gameplay, campaign and build craft as a point of difference to the current seasonal ARPG model which I'm starting to feel fatigued with.
I always come back to grim dawn, its one of my favorite game of all time, and one of the most played one too. I'll buy the new dlc on the day of the lunch or even before. GD is the goat.
Love GD! I probably fall in the range of where I won't get to the Ascended mode anytime soon. I usually don't get to the end of all the campaign which also includes all the DLCs currently out before I either decide to create a new build or play other ARPGs. But I always come back to GD.
The only thing GD lacks is an online ladder system.

Idk maybe start work on grim dawn 2. With poe 2 and titan quest 2 comeing it feels a little mehh this 1
I just can't play Grimdawn due to them not having authoritative servers its also going to get drowned out with all the other ARPG's coming like POE 2 and Titan Quest 2
i would love to get back into grim dawn, but... but... the animations, the spells , the entire skill tree is so boring, everything i want to try out in the skill tree doesnt give me the freedom i thought and the animations on spells just... doesnt look very good at all, and ontop of that, the HUUUUUUUUUGE list of affixes on each item is just too much, its a wall of texts when you apply things on an item
grim dawn needs seasons and ladders then it may actually be worth playing
Def a fan of GD and looking forward to expansion, despite not even hitting level 90 on any characters
