Thanks for the review! Not sure where you are, but in the US, I would be very cautious about purchasing one of these as they are a class IV laser (regulated by the FDA). Lots of laws around those... In any case, a class IV laser can fry your eye in a split second, depending upon scanning speed, beam spread, etc.. Please be careful!
Nice review! 👍 Should definitely add that you are showing them with soundswitch in your description. What camera did you record the actual beams with? Looks really good.
i was wondering how you make the effect of two very thin lines outside and than a third smal dot bouncing between left and right (4:25)? also the effect where you do the liquid sky effect with breakups but the outside line is a different color? looks very amazing! great work. would love to see a bit of behind the szenes of the show. if you mind sharing your programming
2 Patterns. A is set to 1 beam, 2 is set to 2 beams. Apply horizontal movement to them. For liquid sky with colored edges, A is set to liquid sky. B is set to 2 beams. Adjust zoom so they appear stacked.
@@DJDanyn which value is for the liquid sky preset? I am trying to recreate this but having some trouble. I've been using the S line and sometimes flattening it out.
That was a sick demo, what are you using to software are you using to program them. Do you have any tutorials? This is exactly what I am trying to learn to do lol :D
Bro these lasers are awesome. I wanted recreate the rave lightshow you have at 4:02 I'm using a DMX 512 controller. What pattern do I use? Also how do I make the lasers move like that is it in sound active mode?
Hey man! Loved the video showcasing what this is capable of, and I'm looking for something that's a class 3B rating that can accomplish the same thing. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
I started with one of these amzn.to/3QhZoFQ Not great but will get the job done. I use it here and there in this video: ua-cam.com/video/AuIv6QfM1dc/v-deo.html
Hi Danyn, I bought the 3W waterproof with galvos before I saw your video. It's very limited in dmx and sound mode does not work. Auto works but only with a few cheese cartoon animations and a few patterns. I does have nice resolution though. Now Shehds wont take it back. Do you think I will have better luck with it using the soundswitch dmx-usb dongle and their software? Was it easy to set up? Thanks !
I know this video is probably from a while ago, but they added the dimmer switch on the lasers so that you can strobe them. I have something similar to those, and I found that out while messing around with them.
Yup, all SoundSwitch. And definitely! If I were to use lights in addition to lasers, a sequence where more and more come on with each count could be nice.
i got a question, is there a way to custom make laser beam effects with soundswitch. like some excision type lasers. like is there a way to make custom patterns and things like that. i know you can go through the presets but that’s lame compared to being able to design your own, so i’m just wondering if you can
@@DJDanyn okay, that kinda sucks that i can’t use soundswitch because with my setup i’m not even using a computer because i’m using a denon dj standalone which has soundswitch built in, and i make my light shows on pc and then just move it to a drive and all the lights work without a computer. would have been really cool to have custom lasers with it. thanks anyways, would still be cool using some of the presets that i see you use in your videos.
@@atomicly9597 For the most part, you should be fine with pure DMX. Lasers on their own are already a big wow factor and as long as it goes to the beat, 99% of the audience won't know any better. Great to hear that you want to elevate the experience though. I believe there's a way to have QuickShow hook into SoundSwitch but I don't think it's possible without a laptop.
Because they are illegal in most of north america having no interlock safety switch and key (my lasers have 7 ways to turn them off quickly, power, dmx, key, interlock, on/off switch, safety switch, powered metal curtain & an extra power cable switch)

Absolutely! I would highly recommend anyone interested in lasers to look into taking a laser safety course: www.ilda.com/LSOcourse.htm
This law doesn’t apply for personal use in your home..
@@dispooo4523 Not for use, no, but you do need to have a variance to legally purchase (the seller is required to request it).
only in america. easier to obtain a handgun than it is, a show laser. safety!🤦♂️

With these lasers, you also have two elite from unity. Did you buy the FB4/FB3 dongle to attach on the back in order to use quickshow?
@Danyn this is awesome. I know these are not IP65 but would to see you do a quick demo outside. How well do you think they would work?
3W isn't ideal for outside. You'd want 6W or 10W.
Btw shehds does actually make this exact laser for outdoor use though. Although I agree 6w minimum preferred unless tiny space.

I have the 3W waterproof as well. I do not have the problems with mine that you mentioned with yours. Sound active works fine and so does auto mode.

Question: can you use Quickshow for this program if you buy the Pangolin BAC ILDA controller?
Yes, they work with QuickShow and an FB3. You get dimming too.
What's the setting in Soundswitch to get the lasers to fire the very thin beams like in the intro? Thanks!
Wow, great programming! All this is done in SoundSwitch?
And there is some potential for One, Two, Three in the second track. :D

So, not just my cat appears suddenly when doing something... :D LoL :D Nice video. And you have a cute cat as well.
Haha thanks! He's the star of the show.
Is this programmed via dmx or ILDA?
Has anyone used this with a Wolf Mix?
Вопрос, какой параметр kpps у этого лазера?
На их сайте написано 25 тысяч. На их странице Алиэкспресс написано 30 тысяч. Я думаю, что это около 20-25 тысяч.
finally someone that uses these things as they should be used!!!!!!!
Wait why are they so cheap?

One of those lights desperately needs to be adjusted so that you can have the same colors coming from both lights
