Another plane that look like an egg is the Questair Venture. My question is, why did Otto seems to be the only one with this design, since everyone are subjected to the same laws of physics. Why Boeing , Airbus did not try something similar, since laminar flow been know for decades. For those that asked, future airplanes will have no windows, but have window like TV screens for outside views.
No windows for the passengers?
Why you need windows when you have 4k cameras all around. best aircraft ever.
The only question i have is : how much runway Celera 500L will need?
They say its short enough to allow the plane to take off and land at over 5000 regional airports.
Personally, I'd like to see a single seater *ELECTRIC* with this egg design
You probably will, teardrop or egg shapes are the most drag resistent.
15 minutes of fly in electric? So no range yet! Too heavy too
@@juanbaitx8740 They should use a hybrid electric/hydrogen.
The 1st law of thermodynamics says otherwise. Don't get it wrong, EVs are objectively great, but electricity storage is still too terrible ATM.
@@uberbeeg form & profile drag only
What corner is the release date around? I keep seeing this thing, but no action or sales.
Excellent 👌👌🎉🎉
Eggbus.
I've been hearing of this aircraft for almost a decade. But no proceedings. Nobody's buying this?
대단한 기술에 존경을
Eggman's debut that's for sure. :P
I saw never eggs shaped like that.😐
next version it will fly on farts alone
They have one flying?
swimming
Yes
All of today's commercial aircraft are poorly designed, they cannot survive crashes.
diesel is now 30 to 40 cents per litre higher than gasoline
Yeah but he's not talking about gasoline he's talking about avgas
@@kookie_krumbs let me translate for the slow readers. DIESEL IS NOT CHEAP
So? Diesel engines are roughly 30% more efficient than gasoline engines...
@@jimj2683 LOL not at altitude!
