Salute Chuck D! I can't explain to you how much your music helped me at 17 years old. Bring The Noise is where it all started with me. I've been a fan since.
you callin these two lispin poindexter nikkaz grown? The reason why they got into the music biz is cause they'd die on the streets from getting clowned
Somebody get at Wackademics and let him listen to the part about the numbers game. This is the point ppl have been struggling to articulate with that clown for years. This is why you have to respect the OGs that paved the way for these younger dudes today.
I always felt that P.E. & Goodie M.O.B. were the most necessary rap groups ever. I remember when Big Gipp was telling dudes to stop littering in the hood. Certain things they said consistently that many on a mainstream level didn't do. Even Pac was inconsistent. Sunz of Man from Wu Tang also had alot of necessary songs.
Men and women who do not trust them and who are complexed, like to compare themselves to others or compare things with each other. Everything is subjective in this world. ✌🏾 From Paris France.
Anyone else notice how Glad appears to try and catch people he's interviewed, and those he's interviewing, in a lie by asking questions then referencing previous interviews to see if what he was told previously is at odds with what he's being told in the moment?
So in other words numbers do lie don't they Chuck. That's was a nice way of saying it without dissing JZ and all of the rappers and entertainers that repeated that phrase over and over.

dylan is not a good example, sold big numbers most of his career, even his last album went #2 on the charts. tom waits is a cultural icon but doesnt get the dylan treatment because his stuff simply doesnt have the same commercial impact. not a rock vs hiphop or white vs black issue, its all about the green.
@@erickennedy906 Ain't your "bro". Get of Tupac's Nutts. I actually knew him, when he lived in Baltimore. He was a preppy black kid hanging in the Inner Harbor in Baltimore with his White friends.
I can listen to chuck D talk all day.....this is the best interview

One of the GREATEST voices to ever rap into a microphone. “The Mouth That Roared”
Chuck D called Russell Simmons "Hustle Simmons" during that time too, implying Russell was hustling sum of his artists out of money.

Did Chuck ever make up with Journalist Harry Allen (the one with the voice sample on ' don' t believe the hype') after their falling out?
I didn’t know they fell out!!

Speaking on Ruffhouse you can’t forget to mention Kriss Kross & Da Brat.

Chuck was always an interesting person, but he has now matured to an intellectual that demands to be heard.

Russell Simmons made a Gravediggaz rip-off of The flatlinerz
Wasn’t that Chuck D’s group though?
@SMOKESOME KiLL_1988 Yeah. Her first album was heavily underrated. I think she was under his management and the west coast division of Def Jam

Listen closely. Chuck D ...N E V E R acknowledges The Most Holy One. The Christ or The Holy Spirit. Chuck D did not birth self, provides his own wake-up each day, nor each breath. Therefore, Chuck D is no exception and should immediately take heed to The Holy Bible. At his age he should know better says Isaiah 40 v 28. ©️ Coach Hilario 2020
Is it just me or does this vlad guy have interviews to bring up negative crap from the past
For the poor I pour metaphors
As if “prophets of rage” was anything but a cash grab. He’ll dance for the man you just gotta pay him more.
What? Is Chuck dancing?
Chuck D is a sellout now and part of the system, he and flavor flav should make an album now calling it Endorse the Power

Chuck was the Revolutionary not Tupac. Chuck D Talked the Talk and he Walked the Walk. Tupac was running game.
Oh shit. Don't let pac Stans hear that.
Chuck D was 26 when started to rap. Tupac died at 25 had 3 classic alumbs and shot two cops. So , bro STFU please.
