This one is a drive to #FortWilliam from the capital city traversing the picturesque highlands via #Glencoe.
With this route one can witness #BenNevis, which is the highest mountain in #Scotland and the United Kingdom. The #summit is 1,345 meters above sea level and is the #highest land in any direction for 459 miles. Ben Nevis stands at the western end of the #Grampian Mountains in the #Highland region of #Lochaber, close to the town of Fort William.
There are numerous lakes or #Lochs as they say in #Gaelic on this journey. Don't miss out on the beautiful sunset while you make your way up to Glencoe.
The highlands offer the most scenic landscapes with glens, lochs, bens and isles.

what time of the year was this drive? Spring? no rain and no snow- great driving conditions, especially for tourists (like me). Thanks for the video.
They show Merry Little Xmas card in the hotel, so no doubt it was Xmas time ..
New subs here. We're going to be road tripping around Scotland for the month of August and really love getting a sneak peak. Did you stay in a Fort William or Glencoe? Which would you suggest is a better stop for a couple nights?
We stayed at Fort William. Glencoe isn't very far. Affordable cute town
However Glencoe has its own scenic beauty. Around the mountains

How comfortable isnit to drive there? What rules tomfollow on road ?
The journey is very smooth. The roads are amazing. If you have UK experience, that works very well. However, the rules are easy to follow so any driving experience would be ok There are viewpoints at various places and the do carry some snow socks if travelling during winter season.
