I want to say thank you Aaron for taking the time to meet my nieces. It looks like they had a lot of fun. Kylee may now become a football (Packers) fan! It brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you again!
Jamie Dampier Sorry for your families loss Jamie. This video also brought tears to my eyes and it increases my appreciation for Aaron and his caring. Makes it really hard to root against the guy.
Patriots fan here, but I always liked and respected Aaron Rodgers, more than any other QB we've faced. The guy is a class act. It's really nice to see him take the time of day to do something wonderful like this!
This Cowboys fan has nothing but respect for Aaron Rodgers. Hate that my team lost to him, but that's just a game. What he does off the field is amazing and deserves recognition.
We thank Aaron Rdgers for the support he has shown ro Butte County after the Camp Fire destroyed 95% of Paradise, California, November 8, 2018. Aaron grew up in Butte County, going to school in nearby Chico. (Pleadant Valley High School.) Chico and other areas were severely impacted as well by the influx of 57,000 homeless from Parafise. We found the most therapeutic way to process the fire was getting together with church members and schoolmates who had gone through the same experience of loss of community, property, and the trauma of escaping by driving through flames on both sides of the roads. Our beautiful 1,000+ capacity SDA church was completely destroyed by the fire, as were many others. Our school (Paradise Adventist Academy) has met for 2 1/2 years at the Hooker Oaks Seventh-day Adventist Church crammed into every space on the church grounds including the stage on the Gym, Sabbath School church classrooms, and temporary modular classrooms. The greatest support the kids have found was being with others who had gone through the same traumas. (We were back up and running school just after Thanksgiving, far ahead of most schools in the area.) Some families who left the area have returned because students elsewhere could not relate to the needs of their personal support base. No one who has not beennon this journey can totally understand the depth of loss our children have suffered. They are their own support team. Covid hit hard by keeping them apart with social distancing and remote learning. Paradise Adventist Academy is returned to a completely restored campus next August. Our campus was miraculously saved by firefighters God placed in the right place that night. Damage to the Academy was completely restored through insurance money to better than new condition. One K-4 building burned, but we have excess classroom capacity for the next few years while that building is replaced. We never dreamed that our students would have to endure such grief, but God is battle hardening and maturing them in ways that have amazed u and made us stronger. We have a long road of recovery ahead, but we are blessed.
As a Wisconsin vet I cannot honestly say that I admire any athlete or celebrity more than Aaron Rodgers. For who he is and what he does for kids is absolutely unbelievable.
Im a former US Marine... Semper Fi to all my brothers and sisters.... Aaron you are truely an inspiration. I am absolutely amazed by everything you do on and off the field. This was heartbreaking and warming all the same. Thank you for all you do Aaron.
Pure Class Mr Rodgers. As a military brat and veteran who, fortunately did not have to experience the loss these kids have, I appreciate this incredible act of caring and kindness. for those of you who attribute these actions as a quest by Aaron to garner personal publicity, Get Real. The last thing he needs is more publicity, good or bad. The organization is getting the publicity and opportunity to educate us on some really great programs by showcasing Aaron. Such a wonderful human being and along with Larry Fitzgerald, is the class of the NFL.
(MP's girlfriend) A sincere thanks to people like Aaron. My dad was killed in service when I was six, and it left a hole in my heart that has never fully healed fifty years on. Aaron is a MVP on and on the field. Besides my admiration for his community service, he's also my favorite football player. I'm a Packers fan from back in the Bart Starr days.
What an amazing man Aaron Rodgers is, to take time out of his life to spent a day with kids that are finding it so hard at this moment in time! Good bless them and him.
I lose it every time he introduces himself to those kids and their eyes light up. I'm proud to be a Packer fan and love to see Packers give their time, talents, and treasures to the people that need it most.
The youngest of the three sisters, I think her name is Kylie is the definition of adorable and the young boy is remarkable and incredibly well spoken. This organization needs to make him their spokesperson.
@@diggs1979420 when was the last time you actually saw Kylee? Or either of those 3 girls? Been quite a few years (more than 7 & before that only a few times within about 5 years). Unfortunately, your brother paid the ultimate sacrifice, leaving those kids & his wife to live without him & you don't even bother trying to see or spend time with them! You have no idea what kind of amazing, beautiful young women they have become. But that's your loss. As for Aaron Rodgers... he is the DEFINITION of a TRUE ROLE MODEL. I'm proud to be a fan of his!
@@diggs1979420 how is spending time with those beautiful young women, my nieces (family isn't always blood) sad? I'm grateful to have met them & to be able to celebrate Alexis & Starr's graduations with them. To spend Halloween with Starr going to Haunted Houses, taking Starr & Kylee out for impromptu lunches & shopping (which we just did yesterday btw). We may not be related by blood, but those 3 will ALWAYS be my nieces & always have a piece of my heart! You need grow up & stop being so selfish & arrogant. Then maybe you would've been a better uncle to them when they needed you the most! I am an Aussie and a Packers fan. I started watching NFL when stationed in an outpost in South VietNam where we lost a lot of good people. Aaron Rodgers is a man with heart, this clearly comes through in his videos and caring for people. Always thought that many NFL players were egocentric, not this guy. As we say here , "Onya Mate" ( good on you mate !)
As a diehard Vikings fan and Packer-hater, Aaron is the only person from the Packers that I'm a fan of and respect. Aaron is the best passer in the league and there's nothing anyone can say against that.
I am a Packers fan from Wales in the UK and have supported the Packers since 1981, when NFL first came to the UK. I chose the Packers because I took to heart that the Packers were a community, not just owned by some corporation or rich guy. Everything you hear about the Pack on and off the field can't help but move you emotionally, bike rides to practice, all the help via foundations, personal appearances, etc. I love the fact that ALL the players not just Aaron, get involved so much in the community. These guys are great role models to young kids. Even with all the privileges they have earned through their talent, they realise how lucky they are to play a game they love and be able to give that love back to their community. I am proud to be a Packers fan. GO PACK GO!
Amazing!! Thank you Aaron. Chad was a best friend to me, and his family is like my own. Dylan will definitely remember your time spent with him. Thanks!
Another Pats' fan, and veteran. I already had enormous respect for Aaron as a football player, but I have to say, I REALLY like him a lot now as a person. I really want to hug all those kids.
It's awesome that Aaron does this. He's very giving of his time and he probably has no idea just how much of an impact he's making. I really hope he wins the Walter Payton Man of the Year award this year. I think Aaron just might find that more meaningful than winning the MVP.
He is such an amazing guy there should be more guys like him in this world just shows that even though he has alot of money he still has time to spend with others and doesnt let the fame get to his head such a down to earth guy
Aaron a your mom said you told her that you didn't just want to be the best QB in the league, you wanted to be known as the best man in the league. It looks to me that you are well on your way! Love ya, 12, go Packers!

This has nothing to do with football. It's a game and yes are children who have lost a guardian that gave the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow Americans regardless of race religion or gender. It's obvious aaron realized football is a small part of his life given the opportunity it has provided him to make a difference in someone else's.
This is how fame should be used. No where in this video or any I have seen of Aaron show him doing anything but doting on others. He exemplifies what should be the best in all of us - a giving, loving spirit backed up with sincere actions.

I have to say this! I was always told Aaron Rodgers was arrogant and didn't care about nothing but himself. A drama king. This could not be farther from the truth.
