Chris is really love to see you tune the cars because you have such a great expertise in what the settings do -- i have a small request 😇 - can you do a video where you explain how to think when going through all of the suspension and gear settings etc? I am scared to change stuff in this menu most of the time.
Thanks man. Yeah I’ll do a full suspension tuning video explaining all. In fact. I might do a series of each setup element when the new physics drops 👍🏻
@@Doughtinatorim gonne be honest you dont know enough to do a whole series on suspension and this tune isnt good ... honestly im not a hater i play this game for 27 years and your streetcar tunes are just not there mate you dont understand enough about tuning because 90% of the time your on sportmode you do not have clue how fast people can be and ill show you
Bro I spent the morning doing this build and racing at Le Mans and what a great car!! Absolutely love it from the handling to mileage car is set up perfect!! Thanks again
Thanks for the load out, for me I had to change the toe angles to make it steer better for my driving style. Still a little tail happy but i'm learning the tuning thanks to people like you.
OMG, what an absolutely beautiful car to drive. I did the build actually how you did but a little changing to the ballast is all. I couldn't do the engine swap due to my level is 41. When that changes so will the motor. I took it to La mans and holy crap this thing is stable. Later I'll do the 30-minute race. But other than that, thank you for spending the time to help us noobs. I've been doing this for the last couple months and can't stop. Cheers & happy racing.
Just ran this car with a similar setup. Took the transmission down to 250 and ran 8 dry laps. 18 seconds left on lap 7 when i crossed the line. FL was 4:01.68. TS without draft was 197mph. This car dominates
Awesome tune, I was using this car based on another UA-camr tune, and it wasn’t good after the physics update. Yours worked great and I never knew how to do a livery. Great video and appreciated the time you take to explain each setting rather that just rushing through.
I love how much you can customize cars in this game. Hopefully they'll expand on this in future GT's. Would love to see the ability to swap out for custom mirrors, steering wheels, or seats in road cars.
Nice Tune, I make the tune without the engine swap. It taken me 2 pitstops too win easy. 1st pitstop after 2 laps. Second after the 4 or 5 lap. Fuel on 6
Hiya Chris,I tried this exactly how you done it but with a darkish lemon base colour, not a fan of white and what fun it was and boy o boy what an amazing sound that Porsche makes, loved it! massive LIKE deployed also suspension video after update would be fantastic cos I'm rubbish at settings, hope the upcoming update makes things even better, cheers mate and happy racing, your time and effort is very much appreciated 👍👍👍
Thanks for this that will be the next car I tune and I’m not sure you know this but if a car has the option to have stage 5 weight reduction you can do that without having to do the rest individually
This setup is good! I prefer the Aston Martin VGT. It's still the best car for this race by far, in my opinion. I can just lay in the couch chillin with the pad, with 3.55 times without effort. Maybe not the most fun car to drive. Anyway. Who needs credits in this game d: Will definitely try to tweak this, and use it for some other races! -Thanks!
I’ve used the mk3 supra for this event for so long…not overly sorted in the corners and braking, but when it starts to rip down the straights…it’s a piss missile. Will try this out, and compare. Thanks
Great video and very good looking livery. I have a little question about the sticker with your name. Did you made your own sticker ? Changing the number is quite easy, as the shape of the sticker, but for using another name, I can't find how to.
i really hope Polyphony adds more endurance races lika Le Mans and Spa active weather day and night circle and a decent credit reward. These are my favorit races and i would love to see more of these events without making a custom races.
When doing photo mode from a race replay. You can hold down the touchpad button to get full screen preview. You can also hold right trigger to move the camera position.
This was such a fun build to drive. Unfortunately with the new update, the grip is majorly lacking and had to be detuned further. Straight line braking from high speed causes the car to pull to the right (brake balance issue?).
I gave it a quick test and its definialtely more sketchy on the brakes, but I think this is the way the new physics will feel. weight forwards, BB forwards will all help to fix this. I'll probably cover this in future videos
Nice one Chris, it looks like a lot of fun. 💪. I would love to see you covering your thoughts on how suspension works in GT7. I am certain that with your real life knowledge that you could better explain its quirks and, quite frankly, nonsensical reactions to camber placements that would have you bouncing down the straights in reality, 😂 🔥✨️. Like deployed 😀👍 😎🎙🏎✅️
Hi Chris, thanks for the vid/tune! Been following you for a while and enjoying your content! I have built and tuned this exactly how you've shown but that was today (since the update.) The pp rating was slightly different so I tweaked the power output a tad to bring it under 700pp. Problem is that when I brake, the car can go left or sometimes right and I don't believe it's camber! Wonder if the update has changed something? Any help greatly appreciated mate, thanks again.
Sorry but im not convinced at all this is the best build for this car why would you take weight off and put it back and make the car unstable , with the right suspension this car doesnt need any weight added only take the first weight reduction that already makes you 200 to 300 kg lighter then the cars your competing with and to be honest you dont need that swap for this it only complicates things you can pit every 2 laps and win easy.. low downforce on the front is a BIG nono you need your downforce or get massive understeer and as you said also lift off oversteer because of it ... dude listen i respect you you might be doing good in sportmode but you dont know a whole lot about tuning in this game i can clearly see that and im being 1000% honest here . to give your vieuwers better tunes you need to start looking around at people that are actually really fast with streetcars ... because when it comes to streetcars your sportmode ranking doesnt say anything its meaningless unless you drive restricted race cars. I would advise you to look at a youtuber named AMS kung pao the guy is legit the one of the very fastest in the world on the nordschleife and that mainly with streetcars but also race cars and you need to learn from that and how to tune cars on this game.. Now i might come over as some cocky asshole but i really do mean well this is not the way to build this car for 700 pp and you need to start using more downforce on your streetcars to get the best out of them. The engine is in the rear so is all the weight and you think its a good idea to raise the suspension and take all the downforce omfrom the front away ??? This car is gonne be way more twitchybm then it needs to be for sure also you trying to maintain that 500 hp right but for what ?? Your much lighter then all the other cars you can run 450 hp and absolutely smash every car there that way you save a shit ton of pp to put in downforce and making your car way more stable .... A top speed of around 290 km is good enough cornering is still more important here , there is entire sections were you can easily attack cars on corners if you would run higher downforce you will run 50 hp less an do the same.laptimes i promis you
I always appreciate other opinions. It’s what makes tuning fun. There are so many ways to do it. I’ve always found the aero understeer tunes work best when pp limited.
Many of the tunes are broken. Here is how to fix: ua-cam.com/video/MvKkcfJMmKI/v-deo.html

Absolutely dominated the field and ran out of fuel but still won the race. Definitely following you from now on.🎉
Thanks man. I’ve just made a video updating a load of my tunes since update 1.49 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes, I used that for ages ... 😊 ... good to see
Thank you for another great project. Just built it and seen now driving the machine. I will let you know how I got in. 👊🏾🙏🏾

Great build!! Really leaned a lot when doing liveries. Thank you for taking the time to share what you have learned.
This and the 89’ vette are two of my favorites.
Thank you for sharing this build. Just ran it around Le Mans and found it to be incredibly stable even in the wet, Again Thanx
Awesome. Happy to help man 👍🏻👍🏻
@@Doughtinatorwhat's your top 5 cars to drive on lemans and Tokyo (wtc700/600)?
On Tokyo I mean by lap time and lemans efficiency overall
Just done this set up and raced it, what a car what a set up. It's awesome 👌. I struggle with set ups. thanks bro..

Awesome. Good to see it works without the swap. The big benefit of the swap is the added fuel efficiency 👍🏻

The name sticker feature is a dynamic text which puts on your GT player name and your country flag.
L’ho provata adesso! Richiama la Moby Dick! Fantastica!!!😍😍😍😍
I´ll try it because I love this car but I´ll try to keep an original copy because the experience to drive such difficult car makes u a good driver.

Wow, love this car, i really need a tutorial on suspension settings for drifting, I need some help with that.
I will cover suspension tuning details. But specifically for drifting might be hard. I’m not that good at it 😳🤣
@@Doughtinator Can you try? I really need some help on it😔
When I click "Special Colours", I only have 5-6 to choose from. What am I doing wrong ?
You need to buy those additional special colors from the previous screen before entering the livery editor menu.
You’re right. You buy the special colours. There are loads!
How did you do the cinematic 0:12

Does the high rear downforce and low front downforce make the car understeer in high speed corners?

Hello,
Did this car is already usefull for make money After 1.49?
Why do you use did and is in the same sentence?
I’ve just made a video updating this tune for update 1.49. 👍🏻👍🏻
I like cars modified into racing machines, but I don't want to change the race car's setting.
Anyone else not get 725 coming out of the tuning shop?
I figured it out. The livery I chose removed the rear diffuser. Double check your cars kids lmao
Ah yes. You would need to add back on stuff a livery style might remove 👍🏻
Just missing an Autobot logo.
That was a 993 that they used
There is a Jazz, well a few of them..😉
G1 Jazz was a 935 Turbo, not 993…
Thx but hate this le man 30 mins track, need to go to the pit is pain in axx. Always got 5th place....ffs
