Hats off to the Master Blender! You never disappoint. You are worth every second I spend watching your videos! Cute card and sentiment. 'Til your next card making sesh 👉
I love the “simplicity” of these type of cards! It allows newer card makers to “duplicate“ them... it doesn’t overwhelm me into thinking-I’m not a pro...Thank you!
Love your card...so cute!! You’re one of the reasons I’m addicted to UA-cam...thank-you!! Quick story...I was watching your video where you introduced the Debbie Tool. GREAT INVENTION. I had the cutest doorknob that I knew I would do something creative with one day..light bulb moment!! I had a birch disc from a wedding (used as a place card holder)...light bulb moment!! I made my own Debbie Tool (Which happens to be my name too). Thank you!! I look forward to your next video. Stay Safe! Debbie from Ontario, Canada
I love the background - so simple but adds so much to the cute bunny and bear. Your cards always have a “restful” quality to them that my eyes appreciate.
Super adorable card, Cathy! I still struggle with Copics but I can clearly see that the more I use them, the better I get. In short, the old saying is true...'practice makes perfect', well at least, 'close to perfect' LOL. TFS Cathy, and please stay safe.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this card!! The colors you chose and the way you used them are so soothing to the eye. I didn’t know paper could look snuggly but it does here. 😊
I love this adorable card and your more approachable use of Copics. I have just a handful of Copics my hubby bought for me to try and I've been too scared to use them so far - but he did get me a box of greys! Ha! Maybe I'll give it a shot. Also, that stencil made a super-cool background. It almost gave your card the look of an alcohol ink background! Very cool!
Cathy, after I watched one of your non-card making videos, I just had to try the Olive and June nail polish kit. I really like it. I have had my polish last far longer than any other brand and I was thrilled to get the other “nail tools”. I have decided to get the set for my daughter-in-law’s birthday. I know she will enjoy it too. And of course, your card today was ADORABLE!
Isn't it good stuff? I finally got one of my best friends to seriously give it a try and now she is obsessed with it as well! Plus it's a company run by women and they do such a good job keeping their customers happy and connecting with their communities. I love them!
Cathy, after watching you latest Design Chat and how you used the stencils for both the mermaid card and then the bunny card, I was thrilled when I found the bunny video and realized watching you make that awesome graphic design that I HAVE that stencil!! Such a cool technique and I can't wait to come up with ideas for cards incorporating that design. Thanks for your creativity and inspiration - once again!
Very nice combo of images and background! My color-choosing trick with both alcohol markers and watercolor pencils: When I come up with a combination that I like, I make a note on a 3x5 card - name of stamp, colors used - and keep it in an index card box. So, for example, if I'm coloring flowers, I can flip through what I've done before with whatever medium I'm using. Sometimes I color little swatches on the index card, too.
Very true- the more you use them, the more you remember what color they are. And every alcohol marker does that "add more layers for depth" thing, which is awesome. I also think we forget we're playing with paper, not gold. Simple and a boop. What could be better?
When I first saw Copics, I knew they were for me. I started buying them with a coupon. Then Hobby Lobby had a big clearance sale where many of them were $2. I think I got about 40 of them at that price! I went to 2 different stores. That is why I have a pretty good collection, and I use them all the time. I am not skilled at it, but I get a bit better every month.
Thanks for this simple method. I also have alcohol markers that I rarely use. Recently I was trying to see if I can use them again. Most techniques seem to take 30 minutes to color 1 flower. I like this simplified method much better. The background is lovely. 🎉
I haven’t really done much with copic markers because I don’t even know what colors to start with. Like all decent mediums they are an investment and I want to be able to start wisely. You’ve given me some pointers on overcoming my Copic anxiety.
Yes I had super short hair until three years ago. I don't know why I decided to grow it out, the last time I have long hair I was in high school. And I actually kind a like it like this. It's almost easier to take care of because I don't have to wash it every day like I did with my short hairstyle.
Now, that’s the right size design for Copic coloring, in my opinion! Love how you used the bunny and teddy bear. And thanks for the demonstration on correcting a Boop gone sideways 😆
Really like the clouds template. Its versatile too! Why I never thought to turn the template upside down to add interest is beyond me. I also could see waves of water as a background. Nice card .
Took your advice earlier and got replacement nibs for my copics and love having that option. Loving the graphic background element too. I don’t have that stencil but I’m going to try it with some cut paper, to kind of make my own. 💕
I’m sorry, Cathy, I have to say....... that I’m SORRY that I only discovered you... and stamping.... like 3-4 weeks ago! I’m totally in love with your videos and presenting style... but at least I have heaps of videos to watch 🤗🤗🤗 (Which is kind-of good because I’ve spent too much when I’m not watching videos... but I’ve also spent too much cos I have watched videos... and wanted the stuff! 😂😂😂) ... like I want this stamp set now......... 🤘🤪🤘
This is just the sweetest card. Who needs any other colors? I've noticed that when watching other people's videos that I "boop" when they put on their sequins. I guess I'm just trying to be helpful.
I was really curious about the pink band---wondered if you used a cloud or a wave die---great surprise to learn there is a watercolor wash die that creates such a cool effect! The bunny and bear are adorable in their simple color scheme, and the band of color adds some nice 'umph'!
Love your card. I am scared of alcohol markers. I am trying to practice with cheep ones before moving onto the copics. Once I feel comfortable I will start to invest. But I like you approach with getting only a few colours of the copics to start with. Thank you for sharing
That turned out so cute! Love the stencil work too...Your video was the highlight of my day since I just had foot surgery and can't get to my craft room for 2 whole weeks!!!! Torture! But watching you makes it bearable, so thank you for that! :o)
Yes! You had me at the Copic markers zoom in. I need this so much, I truly stink. Keep the simple coloring cards coming. :-)
Will do!!
I definitely think the ‘boop!’ Makes ALL the difference!! 😉
Right?!
I agree 👍🏻😄

Nothing wrong with simple. Love this little card. So sweet!
I totally agree! Simple is good!
That bunny reminds me of Piglet! Love this card!
That background makes all the difference. I would have never thought of that...now I’m inspired! Such a great card.

Oh Cathy! That is just the cutest card. Might have been cuter in purple though. I didn’t realize warm gray looked kinda beige ish
Love it❤️ You have been getting brave lately!
Figure trying new things can't hurt!
@@czdesign I love it. You always do such a great job. I’m still trying to learn the basics and I’m not good at that😅

I feel like I still have the same anxiety myself which is why I don't reach for these as often!
Cute, thanks Cathy
Glad you like it
This card is so adorable! Oh by the way, I saw a picture of you with a Pixie cut, OH. MY. GOODNESS! So beautiful! 😊😊😊

that is so cute!! great job!!
Very cute - I love it! I have the same problem with Copics.....just get overwhelmed with decisions! ha

If you have a certain song in your head the rest of the day, you're welcome!
Lol!
Adorable card, and thank you for making it seem like . . . maybe I could do it despite the fact that Copics make me nervous.
Lee, if you keep it simple!!! You can!
Agree with @Amy Williams! I thought you had used alcohol ink. I have ALL Copics and so seldom use them I feel guilty. Lovely card, Cathy, as ever ❤️
