I loved the stenciled one a lot, and then the last one with the new idea for applying ink to cards, and then using a large stamp on top. Really, it is hard to pick what I like best, because they are all beautiful. The tip about applying water with a brush first and then letting the colors meld together is really a keeper tip too!
You want us to pick a favorite? Surely you jest!! All three techniques and cards are fabulous, so it's impossible to pick just one! I was a little concerned with the colors you used on the second card flowers, but it turned out gorgeous. Thanks again for sharing your creativity with all of us.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video, the first of yours I've watched since I only discovered you about an hour ago! You've opened up a whole new world to me. I've used lovely stamps on the backs of envelopes since the 1970s, but I never thought of making my own cards. You've inspired me to get creative!
Brilliant. Thank you so much. I quilt and sew but I’ve started to dabble in card making and you’ve solved a recent project that I was having trouble getting out of my head and onto paper.
OMG Simon WOW Breathtakingly Gorgeous Flowers!! It was so much fun watching your creative process and seeing your vision come to life...and WOW The colors are Beautiful!! You truly did a Super Incredible Coloring job and Creative job !!! Thanks for your Outstanding Tutorial and Sharing Your Tremendously Terrific Tips, Tricks & Techniques!! YOU SO ROCK!! Joan Smith
I love all of those and I just picked up a stash of archival inks and have yet to try to clear emboss over them... don't even know why. BUT today I shall after watching you make it all look just way too easy to do. THANKS
These cards are great. I love all the coloring effects but like the last one the best. And a little Wink of Stella on those petals in the last card would really make them pop. Love your ideas. Also love the way that you do your editing and voice over. I can see the process and don't have to wait while you are working through your process. It's very informative and instructive. Thanks Simon.
I like the 3rd technique the best. I’ve used the colouring technique before but never with a background stamp. It really worked well. I also liked that card the best.
Gorgeous cards Simon. Than you for sharing your talents and creativity! I think they’re all my favorite, but I’m leaning towards the “sending hugs” card. I’m planning on trying these.
👍👍Really nice, Simon! My fave is the first card you made in two sections brought together using the background stamp & a bit of cut-off section for the lower portion of the card. Your use of heat embossing in two different ways was a nice touch too! 🌞
I just got that set and the background stamp in last week. Haven't had time to play yet. I like how you used them . I like using the watercolor technique.
Love all your stamps and inks, still have difficulty getting them in the UK, especially during pandemic. Take care and wishing you a Happier NewYear 2021 ! 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍
