Here are some more strats you can try with the revamped commanders: Laser Drill rushing as Swann - Concentrated beam can be up at 4:30, if you rush out the laser drill upgrade, then you can go pure static defense on a map like Oblivion Express Baneling Drops as Zagara - The dropper lords move really really fast, and you can drop banelings from a control grouped overlord for defense, while the rest of your army can still be on F2 Mass mutalisk as Kerrigan - They were buffed heavily so as long as you don't go up against enemy comps with splash [like Protoss Robo], this should be really strong Kerrigan solo - Her new mastery makes her even more ridiculously powerful. Get all 3 hero-centric masteries and you can literally solo the map with just Kerrigan [and Omega Worms] Skyterran Raynor - With the cost reduction and the mech attack speed masteries, they are a lot better than they were before Also, the reason why you had more kills than your ally is because he played a really silly composition too. I recommend clearing out all the enemy bases and THEN camp the spawns with Bile Launchers.
One more: Ultimate Evoltion solo as Abathur. Get the Symbiote mastery for power set 2, and your Brutalisks and Leviathans become super duper hard to kill, and their symbiotes become machine guns that shred any enemy unit in seconds by themselves.
the research cost bug is still in effect, the vespense cost reduction you refer to Muhammad is the level 1 talent of Raynor that reduces all mech units (ground and air) vespene cost by 20%. currently the "Research Cost" mastery you speak of is bugged, so it doesn't do anything.
Hey Lowko you should try mass diamondback for stukov. You basically run over everything while shooting them in the face and they use nets like the Spiders from wc3 to pull down air units.
Very nice. Have to admit, I tried this style on dead of night awhile back but that map doesn't come with enough gas geysers unless your ally doesn't need all of his. Ended up with tons of minerals in the bank and almost lost a couple of sides because I didn't have enough firepower. Next time I'll probably go heavier on crawlers, throwing the launchers in the back and adding some queens for transfuses. A solid row of spore crawlers followed by a solid row of spine crawlers ought to do some good work until the launchers take over. But the other cool thing about these new launchers is that with the insane range, you can just lump all your launchers together in a big block and grab them all easily, and then holding the command button, deploy them all rapidly by just clicking around the screen. Doesn't work so well with the rapid-fire trick, but it works fine my way. Just a small point, if you got your scourge nest and some scourge upgrades you could totally take out thrashers with a wave of scourge. If you were going to attempt to solo this map, that's how I'd do it--just build hatches on all four bases to collect all the gas and as many minerals as you need, use queens for infusions rather than eggs, don't build a baneling nest, and spend your remaining supply on scourge to push through enemy lines to the thrashers and bonus objectives. Doing that, you could completely block off access on the ramps for maximum crawler/launcher power and still accomplish every objective.
Only thing is -someone- has to have an army composition to take out the Void Thrashers unless they do as Lowko said "to put it in the lane" like he did at the ramp with the Pokey Bois.
Similar to how you split marines, you could target all the biles at one spot, deselect some, then target a different spot. Also, I think Nuke held back and just attacked when needed.
If you want to make it a more consistent defense, Try and Time a few of the Bile Launchers attacks so where the launches are constantly hitting each area so there is no window of not taking out units. That way you can easily clear anything out without losing any launchers
16:48 Stukov's Infested Liberators. Normally, they just shoot some kind of AA projectile (also some slime?), but an upgrade turns them into a green cloud, the move into an enemy unit, and do damage via that. I think they avoid damage all that time?
There is a unit in Red Alert 3 Uprising called the Pacifier FAV. A mobile artillery unit. It does the same thing as the bile launcher when it turns to artillery mode and i absolutely loved to set 5 up and let them bombard a lane.
@Lowko... Thanks for creating this! Always wanted to see how Zagara's Bile Launchers would hold up in this fashion. In addition to Void Launch (make Hatcheries near each of the warp gates), I believe other maps include Oblivious Express. Just spam the tracks!
Zagara protip - it's almost always best to start with a spawning pool before you build any drones, doubly so on a map like this where you don't have any opposition at the expansion. You can max out on drones in the main and the expansion crazy fast that way, and even quickly clear the exp for your ally sometimes if they're playing something that's slow at it.

Lowko, if you maxed out intensified frenzy and have a partner that use Kerrigan's Broodlords, I think it will flood the opponent with broodlings. They changed the intensified frenzy to be really powerful and for broodlords to always spawn two broodlings everytime.
Used to play a lot of bile launcher in Defensive coop They're so Op to be honest, click several time on a zone not far from the bile and whatever is in this zone is either gone or soon to be. Insane dmg

bile launchers are considered units because they use supply (1, same as the drone) much like deakkas primal wurm defence structure (2 supply, drone + 1)
here is a nice strategy: you know the structure dehaka uses to build units? if you uproot it it gains a ranged attack that can hit air. it even becomes a part of the all army hotkey.
Lowko, what avout a secondary channel with all the replays you cast without ending up realeasing them ? Thats definitely a channel I would follow because i feel like even if you didnt talk much or the game was mehh you always come up with strategies and greats thoughts about Starcraft. Thank god for this change, before playing Zagara I was basically just like "welp, guess I'm literally useless on defence missions and also have a unit taken up by something totally worthless.
Make a few queens to heal your static defence. Add spines in front of biles, and spores in front of spines. Can also use queens to heal your corruptors as they have 5 armour and are quite tanky.
Spores have 100 more health, are cheaper to make and will focus down any air units that give the ground army vision. Not to mention the fact that the ground army will attack them first, then switch to the spines in a few seconds which means the overall damage will be more spread out, reducing the chance a static defense building will be destroyed. Plus, if you place spores and spines in the correct pattern small units such as zerglings and Stukov's infested can walk past. Same applies to Stukov's missile turrets - since they can uproot they behave like spores in regards to their hitbox and allow small units to pass through.
I want to see you replay this mission and get the strategy a little better. I'm thinking a line of spores and spines at the bottom of the stairs and use groups of 3 to hit the same spot right after each other, then another group of 3 hit the spot right behind and another group of 3 hit right beside, making a line 2 or 3 deep across the walking area, all hitting the ground at the same time. The entire ground would just be a constant exploding minefield. Anything that made it past would die by the spines and spores. Have a hit squad of Zagara and muta's to protect anything that drops in or somehow gets around your defenses and scourge to hit the objectives.
The weakness of Bio-luncher was suppose to be the fact that it hit only specific area, so in theory it shouldn't work against mobile opponents. The problem is that you can stop enemies from moving by adding static defenses in their way or you can add so many Bio-lunchers that they cover entire area, making it totally broken.
Well, 100% static d. You can spine and spore push, to get bonus. Creep spread with queens if you don't have a Stukov ally. I would still make a bane nest for the freebies. Karax wants his crown back.

unless I am mistaken, the bile launcher attack is considered a COOLDOWN, and not an actual attack, so wouldn't a speed buff not affect it?
then would Chrono Boost/Surge still affect it as it does with Zagara's baneling nest?

use hatcheries to block most of the way in and/or funnel them. place the bile launchers around the hatcheries and in the chokes for maximum gains

Lowko, you don't have to manually target them. Any that aren't continually attacking will automatically attack enemies in range.
