Just when I thought this story was sad enough, I found out that in Daughter of Evil, if you listen closely enough, you can hear Len's voice in the background when Rin's singing. During the part about her capture and execution, it's her voice alone.

You know what's super tragic about this? If you read the novelization, you learn that Germaine (Meiko)'s father adopted Allen (Len) and raised them as siblings.

Meiko thinks that she's returning that pocket-watch(?) to Len.
SHE JUST EXECUTED HER BROTHER.
AND SHE DOESN'T EVEN REALISE.
Yeah that scene confuses me. I'm not entirely sure if the scene with the pocket-watch thing is canon.
Germaine did find out that she accidentally just condemned her brother to death, I think she found out when she went to the dungeon after Allen was captured to announce the time that "Riliane" would be executed. Even though Germaine pleaded with him to let her help him escape, Allen knew that wasn't possible. So needless to say Germaine wasn't very happy about the execution.
What I don't understand is who died.
Nora Shayrin Len.
She actually knew the whole time. She attempted to convince Allen to tell her where Riliane was while he was still in prison, but he continued to insist he was Riliane. She let him die because there was no other way out of that situation. I believe Kyle also knew, but i'm not 100% on that.
Allen's death kinda haunts her till her body's taken over by Irina.
Where do you all find thoses side stories ? Like Meiku adoptions of Len, or the story with Mugi (that i heard about like yesterday??) and all that ?
That explains the story, but i feel bad for Len. His loyalty became his death, but i respect him.

colt grisham The boy, Len, who executed Kayo Sudou in Enbizaka was a reincarnation of Allen and possibly the same person but Allen probably didn't leave the black box at least very often. Allen and Punishment are (most likely) completely different entities.
There are currently four Lens at the current stage of the story - Allen (from this video), Hansël (who caused this entire series of events along with Gretel), Irregular (the boy in Re_Birthday, who was inside the Clockwork Doll the entire time) and Punishment (the weapon Nemesis used to destroy the world).

It's always funny to find comments like this in Evilous Chronicles series especially with this song. Speaks just how much new fans are around this song's popularity who ignorantly thought Len dies a lot than others, when in reality, Rin held the highest number of deaths in songs among all of Vocaloids (yes, even Miku, the one with most songs, died LESS at some points, MIKU who had equally depressed loyal producers). The number of Rin's deaths in a song is so high that even fans noticed, JAPANESE fans. Len wasn't even HALF of Rin's numbers.
Producers started noticing this too and pretty much silently agreed... Twins should have fair share in everything. So a trend picked up where it's LEN who dies. In fact, Servant of Evil is made around that trend to kill off Len or even THE biggest break-out of Len's death in a song. Due to this trend and the fact Vocaloid only goes around internationally during this time, people thought Len was "oh so poor, he keeps dying" when laughably, in fact, even during this trend of Len's rising death counts in songs, he STILL can't beat Rin's number of deaths since Rin's death, although not as common, also kept raising along with Len, in at least 40/50% in the songs where Len died in the span of the trend, Rin also died just because producers want tragedy.
Even UNTIL NOW, Rin still held the highest count of death. Len coming in second. It is predicted that Len will never out-dead Rin because Rin is still the favourite daughter to be killed by producers, something about her just makes producers think "hmm yes, you're too good for the world, let's take you out of it."
It just so happens Len died in more popular songs, so new fans thought he died more. Funnily, in quite a lot of songs, he died to protect or to accompany Rin, even HE knows his other half died too many times.
It always 'nice' to see just how many new batch of fans complained Len died too much and sometimes wondered why don't Rin just died instead. GIRLS, it's LEN who died INSTEAD of Rin. He's literally keeping Rin from dying more often than before!

Almost every Len and Rin song ends with one of them, or in some cases both, dying and then hoping to be reborn or see each other again in the afterlife. Sad, but yet very sweet.

Actually, if you watch Daughter of White, there was the "Green War" that Rin started, which killed all the people with green hair, so not only did Rin intentionally kill Miku, she killed her entire race. This with Daughter of Evil, is just one of the most, if not THE most depressing song I've heard from the Twins.

Before discovering the lyrics of this song, listening to the very beginning always gave a saddening vibe because of the way the tune sounded.

To all of you saying that it's Len's fault for over-spoiling Rin, think of these two reasons:
1. Len never want to see Rin sad, or upset, so saying no to killing Miku, is against that.
2. Len, the servant....spoiling Rin, the princess or queen. That's how it's supposed to be.
AND, it's the old tree's fault (Miku)! If the tree ignored Haku, and didn't turn into a human, Kaito would've married Rin, Len would still be serving Rin, and Haku would've still somehow have met Rin and everybody would've been happy....

Actually Elluka turned Mikeala into a human so that micheala could help find the seven deadly sins. Haku saved her while she was unconcious, and then that gave her the chansce to meet Haku, so they became friends. She didn't turn into a human by herself
Plus, how could Rin still have met Clarith if she was the queen, wouldn't she have thought nothing of her. And Clarith only moved to the city because of micheala, so she would probably be dead, if you want to know why Clarith would have died without micheala, read the evillous chronicles wiki page on Clarith.

I can't believe he fell in love with a lesbian green tree spirit he met only twice. Literally Miku/Michaela's turning into a human was revolved around being friends with Haku/Clarith, which pretty much turned into love.

yes because Allen/alexiel suffered alot physically during the queen's reign in lucifenia, being sorrowful about his love's death Michaela, murdered his father, seeing the peaceful green country turned into a violent blood bath, not trying to reason with riliane when the famine strucked their country, after all that he continues to serve and protect his twin sister faithfully, he kept sacrificing everything untill the very end he finally confirmed to riliane he was indeed her twin brother, not taking the huge risk people executing his sister so he sacrifices himself and everything, even when he's dead, she lived, death cannot pervent him from still protecting his sister in regret message 😢😢😢😢

While what Rin did was horrible I feel pity for them both; Rin, while spoilt, did have a rough childhood plus being away from her twin for ages. Finally when Len came back into her life he treated her the way she deserved to be, with love and happiness. And she did feel feeling for Katio so heatbreak and jealousy got the best of her. Even though what she did was unforgivable it's understandable. And Len was just so sweet! He was always there for his sister and killed himself for her, making Rin depressed.

Everyone asking why Len wasn't spotted: he was. His foster sister, the Lady in Red, spotted him immediately, and asked him where Rin was. Len refused to tell her, and Red allowed him to sacrifice himself for her. Kaito (Blue) also noticed in the prison, but again allowed Len (after pleading with him for Len to just leave) to sacrifice himself. That's why at the end, the two give Rin Len's locket- they knew it was her, and I think Len asked them to. They both respected Len's decision.

You know, I think that's it's purpose is to make us feel something, but in the end it was just a silly story. Workdaykittie Lps So as already mentioned this is part of a series (the Evillious Chronicles) (there's a lot more than 4 more songs, there's 4 in the Story of Evil but that story is a part of the Evillious Chronicles), here's a shorten but hopefully pretty accurate explanation of what happened.
Riliane (Rin) and Alexiel (Len) were born in Lucifenia as prince and princess, as the two grew up Alexiel left the royal family and changed name to Allen. When they where about 13 both of their parents were dead (don't remember when and how they died, but I think their father died quite some time ago, not sure about that) and Riliane became queen, after being possessed by the demon of pride she became a dictator and due to a bunch of stuff Allen became a servant there. Important note: Allen never killed Michaela (Miku) it was Ney Futapie (twin sister to both Allen, Riliane and king Kyle Marlon (who I've completely skipped)).

Childish war and the story of evil have nothing in common. Childish war is a fun, happy go lucky song about royal siblings who have a "war" to determine who will be the "ruler". In truth they are probably just playing a bunch of games, or having some contests. Their "war" ends in a tie. The story of evil is a lot darker. It's also ridiculously intricate so I can't even properly explain it. But this song follows "daughter of evil". Rin is a spoiled and evil princess. Len is her twin brother, but she doesn't know that. She just believes him to be her servant. In the end, Len reveals who he truly is and then switches places with Rin so he dies instead of her. The story of evil is very dark and tragic. Meanwhile childish war is light hearted and funny.
