Ted "Chopper" Lear And His Sculptural Model Cars

Ted "Chopper" Lear's scale model cars are a study in elegance, uncluttered shapes where lines flow like liquid. The precision of his work added unmatched refinement even to box stock model builds.
Our build discussions were energizing and all who met him were enriched by his friendship. I'm sharing here my last visit with Chopper at the 40th NNL Nationals in 2019.
