I'm only a couple of minutes in and my heart is smiling. I love Seoul so much. My husband and I moved to Seoul in 2012. In 2017 we lived near one of the esports stadiums in Gangnam. It was a free activity that we frequented quite a bit!
Wonderfully shot video! Randomly just got this video recommended to me, thoroughly enjoyed it. Would have loved to see you rate and describe your drinks though
I've walked down some of the places you have been and never realized that I had passed such amazing cocktail bars. Definitely an excuse to come back Seoul was an experience I absolutely enjoyed. Also, not surprised that at Geranium the bartenders wouldn't stop talking about Faker
Thank you for the video mate, it's very inspiring and has been helpful in planning my own trips. You've a very calming voice and the flow of your speech combined with your conciseness made for a very entertaining video
Thank you so much you are a true gem! I am traveling to Seoul in 10 days and since I am a bartender and a foodie I will spend my time exactly as you did.
Great video! It was awesome seeing my favorite bars and bartenders through your eyes! If you ever make it down to Daegu or Busan, I’d love to share some recommendations with you. Have safe travels @valianes 😇👍🏽
Am dying to go your video was extremely informative and fun. You never mentioned any problems with language, or do you speak Korean? Again thanks this really helped. One other thing, did you go to the island Josen? Am sure it is spelled wrong.
Go to Bar Tea Scent - incredible tea inspired cocktails… same area as Zest… walk up to the bartender and tell them what your favorite flavors are and they will make a drink for you.
You have to come with an empty stomach and offer to buy 2 portions/servings minimum. If they still hesitate to seat you, tell them you will buy a bottle of soju or beer with your meal. They will seat you 99% of the time lol. Remember, there's no tipping in native Korean culture. Restaurants and bars have to set these minimum qualifiers just to break even, because their profit margins are so low and it's so incredibly competitive there.
How does this video have 29 views this was amazing
You sir, are one of the best kept secrets I’ve found. Please continue these on your escapades.
