So jealous as I sit here in small-town Indiana where I have to dumb it down and then still explain what I want in any bar in town. As a decent amateur mixologist myself I have to say that a lot of these drinks just seem to throw anything together, tho I'm sure the balance and final outcome is exceptional. Went to sip in NY this year in June since I missed it on my Shibuya trip earlier this year. It was a good experience for sure. Though it is pricier than Japan Agree that it will be difficult for any city in America to beat NY for best bars. The biggest factor is foot traffic and density. That's my reason for why cocktail bar culture is so subpar in Los angeles

Mudan’s video reminded me to come back here and show some love. Went to Star Bar, SG Cub, Bar Landscape, and Virtu on my recent trip. All were great, and the last three of those were some of my favorite bars ever. Happy I binged your content!

Bar Ixey was possibly the most amazing bar experience I've ever had. No music, small space and man who knows what the hell he's doing. We learned he was an English Literature major in college, too, so he was incredibly well spoken with English. Must go for anyone visiting. Had a better time here than Bee's Knees even though it's way less hyped.

Got back from my Japan trip recently and based a lot of the bars I went to on your videos so I appreciate what you do immensely. We had a blast. One of my absolute favorite places we went to is above the Bellwood - BW Cave. The best and most unique highballs I had in Japan as well as some of the best Izakaya food I had. A lot more relaxed and casual than The Bellwood (which was fantastic in its own right).
