Fall is truly the best isn’t it? I’m the same way, I like this time of year more than the new year. Being cozy, making delicious food, and just a general sense of calm and sense of anticipation for the lovely things to come. I love making pumpkin bread or pumpkin muffins at this time of year 😊 #BackToFall
For me the reason I step into the best version of myself during fall is because I feel more comfortable. The weather is cooler and it makes me feel better. I can enjoy being outside and in nature without the miserable heat. I know for sure that's what it is for me. A reason to slow down and be at peace.
The fall is my favorite time, the scents and colors of the trees. The cooler temperatures and cozy clothes. I just wish it lasted a little bit longer! 🍂 ❤️
I think that's why we start it earlier! Official fall is September 22nd. I start gearing up for Christmas on November 15th (yes, before Thanksgiving!) So I like to make fall last from September 1st until the middle of November. :)
Fall is the best time of year. The smells, the colors, the cooler temperatures, and coziness. The only problem with fall is it just doesn't last long enough.
The fact that “Fall cleaning” isn’t more of a standard event like spring cleaning worries me 😂 after all the summer activities my house needs a deep clean. Nobody wants to be inside cleaning when they could be at the lake or on vacation! So it gets a little ick. Twice a year full house deep clean is a must!!
I also LOVE the fall time! I feel "re-born" again! I love back to school time, anything pumpkin, warm beverages, fall colors, cardigans, sweaters, boots, halloween, anything spooky, I could go on and on!
I totally get the romanticising the mundane eg: I'm not just making dinner, I am nourishing those I love and energising them to do what they need to do. When I was at home with my children I was grateful that I didn't need to go out to work (I was self-employed) not everyone has that opportunity. Loving your cosy, autumnal vlogs from over here in the UK
It’s been so fun to do these Back To Fall videos this month! I have another GIVEAWAY for you all this week to say thanks for the love and support! To enter just comment with #BackToFall and tell me what your favorite Fall time food or treat is! Two people will win some PayPal cash! (Giveaway is open internationally)
#BackToFall although I'm from the UK and we call it autumn, I do love the season, I don't really have a favourite food but I do love all the warming cosy foods like casseroles, and stews and the weather is my favourite where you can watch all the leaves blowing around and the rain hitting the windows, with a steaming cup of tea. Winter is my number 1 favourite but Autumn is definitely a very close 2nd
#BackToFall since I’m from Singapore and we don’t have different seasons we don’t have much fall deco or fall drinks made here. But i do crave for certain food during this period of time especially after binge watching fall videos: i crave for warmed/ fresh cinnamon roll with a glass of milk… it makes me feel calm and give the cozy vibes for me…
#BacktoFall my favorite treat is hard to narrow down because I love anything baked that smells of cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger. Lattes, pies and loaves are great!
I love this video! It reminds me of how I wished to be a mom when I was like 10, and now that I am I need to remind myself this is what I wanted, and I can make motherhood BE what I wanted it to be.
Finally someone who likes the fall / winter feeling like me. I am at my happiest when summer is over and I can enjoy sweaters, blankets, cuddles on the couch, rain, little lights, cosy (christmassy) music, warm rich meals etc.. I am that girl smiling in the rain haha
I love your fearlessness to share your faith and how it grounds you on this platform. I really think fall is the perfect time to get into nature and appreciate God’s creation, being thankful for the harvest and the way he paints the leaves. It’s special BECAUSE we know it won’t last long. Thank you for your vulnerability!
I love the “gratitude “ attitude! My great Uncle George taught me a quick way to change my thought pattern to a more positive one … replace the word “have” to “get” when speaking of something that needs to be done. For example, I GET to clean my house today (it is often a first-world complaint), I GET to teach my children, I GET to go to work today, etc. He is so sweet and I just adore his outlook on life in general, and how blessed he is. 😊🙏🏼❤️
You are a super girl!! I’m a Grandmother and I love the way you embrace your role as a mom and wife. You are a woman of faith and wisdom. I really enjoy your videos. I love the fall and I’m so glad you share your love of the seasons. Keep up the great work!!
Girl, can we take a moment to talk about your hairstyle in this video? That volume, that natural and simple waves, that classic look… We have seen more of you in braids or ponytail for those de-cluttering videos, so when I first saw you in this video, I was like, wow, Natalie!!! 😍 I was never a Fall person growing up, but you definitely had influenced me to appreciate fall these last few years! And with the summer getting hotter every year in Taiwan, I simply cannot wait for the fall time to come! We only have a very short period of time for autumn - so I want to embrace it as much as I can! Cinnamon rolls for the fall is a must!! #BacktoFall
Gosh, it is so nice to see one woman compliment another woman instead of all those nasty comments we normally see everywhere. Very refreshing! You must be a very nice person to be around!
In Dutch 🇳🇱 there is also a term that descripes your autumn feeling like hygge: 🧡gezelligheid🧡. We celebrate this feeling of "gezellig" all around our lives, we love it 🧡🧡🧡
I'm also from Washington state, and fall is just magical to our family. I have never heard it described so accurately. You put all of my feelings toward this special time of year into words. Thank you so much for the encouraging and thoughtful content.
I feel the same way about fall. The crisp air under the rising full moon, the crunching leaves under my feet, the all day light rains, my seasonal colors in clothing and decor, the flowers, the baking, things being simple and cozy, the creativity. Your hair is so pretty like that!
I absolutely love the fall. Color changes, the smells are different, pumpkins, cider donuts. And the cooler weather w cozy sweaters. What a great uplifting video🥰
I completely relate to you in regards to taking the mundane and fantasizing those tasks. I often feel I was born in the wrong era 🤣. Thank you for being so forthright and creating such a beautiful, wholesome place on UA-cam. ❤️
I feel the same way not only in the fall, but the spring too!🍁🌷 In the fall I find myself more contemplative so I like to slow down, plan for BTS & the holiday season because as winter hits I tend to cozy up & hibernate (I deal w depression & SAD) so the fall gets me rooted so we can survive the winter! Come spring I look forward to everything starting anew & as my energy revs up, I find myself excited to get things done both inside & outside, spend time w family/friends outdoors in the garden or enjoying bbq meals! Thx so much for all u do!💚
Fall is my favorite season, I love when the weather starts to get cooler in the evenings and the leaves change colors. I feel the same way about rain and thunderstorms... love them. So looking forward to new coffee recipes...
Fall is my favorite time of year. I love making a pot of warm vegetable soup and making bread. I love the soft sweaters and cozy blankets. All the colors of fall are so beautiful.
This is a lovely video. I was kind of dreading school starting up and summer heat going away and this reminded me how much I love the fall produce from our garden and local farms, making cozy cool weather foods, celebrating thanksgiving here in Canada, and hunkering down in our lovely cozy home in the woods with the smells of cinnamon, cloves etc. And fall walks, campfires, and coming in to a warm house with rosy cheeks. Using favourite sweaters again, pulling out my favourite boots. Ahh. As a fellow Christian I feel so encouraged by all your thoughts in this video. You have a beautiful spirit ❤️
A fall poem for you, Natalie. Thank you for the inspiration! WHY I LOVE FALL Fall is comfy sweaters Homemade soup And changing leaves Red and gold Brown and orange A cozy tapestry It's picking perfect pumpkins Potted mums And fancy gourds It's using nature's bounty To decorate our porch As we gather close together With our family In our home It's a time for looking inward Allowing gratitude to grow And even though it's cooler In the months that make up fall In my heart that time of year Is the warmest time of all
Natalie oh my goodness!!! I did the “Little House” romanticizing too! I used to “become” anything literary that I was enjoying as a child. And you don’t sound silly at all … confession … sometimes I pretend I’m YOU when I’m doing mundane mommy/wife/housekeeper things because I admire you so much! Now THAT probably sounds weird - but it’s true! Like you, I also LOVE Fall. There was a period of time, however, when Fall made me feel very, very sad because I lived across the country from my entire family. The Hygge feeling of the Fall season made me feel so homesick. Now that we have move back home, I am so excited for my favorite season again!
I have always looked to Fall as a new year too as well. The fresh reset. It is interesting because the Jewish faith uses this time of year as their new year. Fall is my favorite, with the crisp air, the traditions of football, both college and NFL, going to the pumpkin patch and the pear orchards, just the coziness of sweaters, throw blankets, and candles and baking and making soups. The list goes on and on. Autumnal Bliss is a real thing and it is beautiful 🧡🤎🧡🤎🧡Thanks be to God for this season that reminds us of His great harvest of blessings. Even if the harvest isn't as huge as we would want it to be, we still thank Him for what we have and we keep pushing forward, prepping our soil for the good seed and keeping that seed watered and nurtured for the harvest again. Never giving up, relying on our Savior and keep counting our blessings 💗
I absolutely love fall. It is by far my most favorite season. Thank you for this video!! As a new mom to now four, things can get a little overwhelming. This video reminded me to just be grateful all four of them are healthy. It was a reminder of how blessed I am and I definitely needed that this week. HUGE thank you!!
I was the same way as a child. Still today, at 52, I look for ways to be that person now. I love your attitude. I think I love your channel so much because I homeschooled my daughter and see so many things in you, that was me long ago. And my daughter and I have a relationship that seems similar to your relationship with your mom. I would love to see more videos with your mom. She seems to be such an encouraging person. I love that you speak about your shortcomings, but you give yourself grace!
Love and agree with everything you said 100%! Wrote down 2 quotes. "Practice gratitude." "A good attitude is always a good idea." Printing these and hanging them up!
Fall and Spring are my absolute favorites!! I’m actually doing a little “life reset” starting September 1st because I love using Fall as a new year type of thing 😊
Watching your video for my “me time” after putting the kiddos to bed, drinking tea and being cozy. Absolutely ❤️ your videos. This helps to put things into perspective after having a crazy/stressful day.
I truly enjoyed this video! Your voice is so peaceful and the things you talk about are so refreshing. Thank you for this! I appreciate you taking the time to make inspirational videos.
I've always felt like Fall and Spring are seasons of change, Winter is a season of reflection, and Summer is a season of abundance. The changes of Fall and Spring are my favorite, seeing the nature around us transition into it's next stage helps me live in the moment more which I think contributes to the feeling of coziness and joy.
Your not weird. I love your channel. You’ve inspired me, encouraged me, and motivated me.... especially with your messy to minimalism series. Your doing a great a job.
Just wanted to say that this video was indeed a blessing to me, the calm that it brought to my morning was perfect after a restless evening. I absolutely enjoy the short clips of your childhood. It brings back fond memories of mine. Thank you for the honesty in regard to sometimes complaining and forgetting to focus more on gratitude. I feel so guilty if I grumble and wonder…am I alone here? It was reassuring to hear you speak on that. Thank you for the peace you have placed into the start of my day 🤗
Thank you Natalie 😊 I am British but lived on Long Island NY as a child and into my teenage years and returned to England in my 20's . I love September, the chilly breeze in the air on a sunny day. The quality of light and the colours starting to change. Listening to Neil Diamond's September Morn on the 1st of September is a little ritual of mine. I miss Thanksgiving and wish that we had this celebration in the UK. I have decided that from now on, my family will celebrate Thanksgiving here in Devon. Like you explained, it is a meaningful time to remember to practice gratitude. Thank you so much.
While hospitalized this past week I enjoyed this video several times. Autumn is the best and this was so welcomed Thanks Natalie. Keep loving family and life.
Thanks for sharing with us. I found your channel a year ago when I found out I was pregnant with twins. I am so glad I have gotten to know you through your channel. You are just so sweet and real. Like a friend. So thank you from one friend to the other. Thank you for letting us share in your life. Fall has always been my favorite season, like you, I just feel at peace and love the slower pace it brings.
#BackToFall I love it all!!! Fall is my favorite- cooler temperatures, apples and pumpkins, cozy clothes and blankets, fires in the fireplace. The decor, the smells, the feels!
Oh Natalie, if you only knew how much you hit so close to home for me. Your inspiration has helped me so much. I love how you talked about feeling peaceful. I needed to hear this and you did it. Thank you so much!!!🤎🍂
I’m from the Midwest and am always homesick this time of year…I live in Arizona right now, where fall is so different. Part of changing my mindset is to surround myself with the warmer tones a little earlier. I also pick something to do the slower, “old school” way, and lately, I’ve been hand washing the dishes. Making a very intentional choice to light a candle, play relaxing, cozy music, and do a regular task at a more relaxed pace forces me to slow down my very hectic life for a small chunk of my day. 🍁🍂🐿
I think I needed to watch your video today- it hit just the right way! I love how you described the feeling of hygge…this is how I feel around Thanksgiving and Christmastime in particular but yes, sometimes even in the mundane. It reminded me a lot of the practice of mindfulness as well. I especially love the reference to little house on the prairie and Beatrix potter. Thanks, Natalie!
Thank you, Natalie, for this encouraging and positive video. I too love fall! Your faith is so evident! Thanks for shining your light! Praying you and your adorable fam have a very happy and safe fall season! 🤗
Love your discussion about romanticizing mundane moments! Especially relating it to how a character would feel in a show/film (if they were "real") versus how we romanticize it as a viewer! Not weird at all - it is actually very relatable and inspiring, I hope to do this more in my life! ❤
Love watching your videos. You are always so positive and you leave me feeling so good and thankful after your videos!! My favorite thing about fall probably the decorations, the traditional pumpkin patch visits, and cozy moments at home. 🍂 🍁
Fall is my favorite time of year as well! I grew up in Sequim, Washington and all my family is from Seattle. I lived there as an adult for 7 years. I currently live in Oregon. I love the Seattle rain and the apple and pumpkin picking in the Northwest! I also love making my home cozy and clean for fall and winter. I also love cooking in season! This year I just learned how to cook butternut and spaghetti squash for the first time! Love your videos! This was so relaxing and peaceful to watch! And no your not weird! I also read Little House on the Prairie and other books and made my chores fun by imagining I was during those times as well! Imagination can really help our outlook on things! Happy Fall!
Natalie I’m totally feeling this video. I feel the same way about fall as you do! It such a special time of year for me personally and for my family. When I was a kid my mom and grandmother always made me excited for the fall season. It’s cozy and a reset for me and I absolutely love it! Can’t believe today is the last day of August as tomorrow Sept 1 really is the start of fall for me or at least getting into a fall state of mind. Cheers and happy fall!
That was so well spoken! I love fall too and you put in words so well maybe why I feel that way. It’s cooler so curling up, being cozy and slowing down feels like the perfect thing to do……. It’s my favourite season! And let the knitting begin!
My whole family are fall people 🍁🍂. Growing up I loved “Indian Summer”. The beautiful colors of leaves. Racking and jumping in leaves. As an adult pumpkin everything! Cooking great meals and decorating. Doing fall activities with the family. Apple picking, bonfires, pumpkin carving!
I'm happy to see more people have similar habits to myself. I have always done a big Fall cleaning to organize and prepare myself for the beginning of the school year. It is a great feeling to the start to the big holiday season when family are visiting and we are out doing our favorite activities with a clean house.
I love this video Natalie. Makes me want to go home and clean and cozy up my house. Can’t wait for the clean and decorate video. I have always liked fall but considered myself a summer girl. This year was the first that I grew so tired of the hot and horridly humid weather we had this year. Our days have been so perfect this week. 70s and not sticky!
I love fall! I agree with with you Natalie. There is something about fall and pumpkin spice that just makes me at peace, makes me happy and really sit back and meditate on how much I love my life.
I love what you said about imagination and romance. I think we miss our on so much in life because we let that part of ourselves go dormant. Why not enjoy every single thing we can?! I think you really put into words what we already love about fall and winter. We need the excitement and romance and beauty and wonder!!!! Love this so much!!!!!
I too have always held a special place in my heart for fall. It is hands down my favorite time of year. Maybe it’s because we live in WA and it’s the most beautiful time of the year in the pnw. The crisp air, the change of colors to a warm palette. It’s all just the best feelings. I remember as a child coming home from school to my mom having decorated for fall with candles burning and cinnamon sticks, or mulling spices simmering on the stove I was instantly at peace. I am waiting to decorate for fall until my some starts school next week so he can come home from school to a fresh cozy vibe. :)
Natalie... Yes👏👏👏. Finally someone who thinks like me.. I love to deep clean and declutter at the end of summer/start of Fall before the new school year starts and the different Winter celebrations like Halloween, Christmas, New Year etc start, and all the decorations come out.
I never comment on videos...but this one felt like you you were describing me...such a fall lover...me and my sister do "count down to fall"....LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
I Love the Fall! It’s the time of the year that I feel like I’m fully in tune with myself, my surroundings and can breathe more easily. It’s the time of the year that I feel like the best Version of myself. I feel most “Alive” in the Fall. I’ve always had a hard time expressing that feeling. I’ve been that way since I was a child. I am an October baby so I always feel Ike I’m in my element in the Fall. In the past year I’ve been on a more mindful/ simple living journey and discovered the concept of Hygge. I think it’s absolutely Wonderful! ❤️🍂
I love summer! So even if I think autumn it’s a lovely season and I like the things that brings, i find it a bit depressing, because of the darkness here in Norway 🇳🇴 I try to always make it super cozy to compensate, putting candles, baking, seating in front of the fireplace reading and drinking delicious warm drinks…but still i really like spring , because summer is my favorite season and I know it will be next 😄
I am a summer girl but there is always an aura of excitement in autumn when the apple pie replaces the peach pie and the glorious colors appear. I try not to think about the season to come. For years just knowing that winter was coming ruined autumn for me but I am learning to push back that negative feeling and embrace what is right now. Thanks also for your testimony.
Fall is my favorite too! I love the relief from the heat and the lazy, hazy days of summer. I’m a 61 year old mother of 9, and “ Mimi” to 11 so far. We homeschooled our children, and also have a saving faith in Jesus. Although my husband’s job moved us to Northern Virginia 4 years ago, we raised our family in New England, in the state of Massachusetts ( Home to Yankee Candle!! I have Macintosh burning right now) In my experience, the fall foliage is incomparable to that of the New England states. 🍁 🍃 🍂 Thank you for your eloquent words describing your love for fall; I can totally relate! 🍎 🍏 #Back To Fall
Always love your Fall time videos! I was just thinking, I need to watch Natalie’s videos again, she ministers to mamas and I need that right now. Came and was not disappointed! Xoxo
Fall is truly the best isn’t it? I’m the same way, I like this time of year more than the new year. Totally feel you! The heat and bugs are aweful!
Yes!! I agree.
I wish... We've got one warm wave (a week) in may, but since I have been wearing long pants and sleeves most of the time. Didn't have a real summer.
Heat and bugs are terrible here!! And humidity! Yuck!
Same. I know I feel more to it but that is a major part for me

Amen! I live in TN and so wish we had longer transition seasons.

As a fellow Western Washingtonian, I have also been a fall girl. I like summer, but I LOVE fall.
I love how this lil chat turned into an extra devotional time for me. Thanks Natalie for

My heart was CRAVING a cozy fall video like this!! I enjoy the M to M videos, but the sit down chatty ones are my absolute favorite!!

A fall poem for you, Natalie. Thank you for the inspiration!
WHY I LOVE FALL
Fall is comfy sweaters
Homemade soup
And changing leaves
Red and gold
Brown and orange
A cozy tapestry
It's picking perfect pumpkins
Potted mums
And fancy gourds
It's using nature's bounty
To decorate our porch
As we gather close together
With our family
In our home
It's a time for looking inward
Allowing gratitude to grow
And even though it's cooler
In the months that make up fall
In my heart that time of year
Is the warmest time of all
You’re not weird at all! I completely relate, and feel the exact same way. Life is better when you look at it through cozy + romantic glasses. 🥰

There was a period of time, however, when Fall made me feel very, very sad because I lived across the country from my entire family. The Hygge feeling of the Fall season made me feel so homesick. Now that we have move back home, I am so excited for my favorite season again!
I absolutely love this. I hope she sees it.
I’m so happy that I discovered intentional cleaning and home making. I love the fall and physically feel better because of the cooler temperatures.
Fall and Spring are my absolute favorites!! I’m actually doing a little “life reset” starting September 1st because I love using Fall as a new year type of thing 😊
Fellow Autumn lover over here! 🙋🏼
Did my "fall clean" this week, getting ready to shut everything up against the "bad" weather 😁
Love how you mention your peace coming from God 💕💕
I love the Fall and Spring!🍁🍂I really appreciate your genuine and sweet channel.
Your not weird. I love your channel. You’ve inspired me, encouraged me, and motivated me.... especially with your messy to minimalism series. Your doing a great a job.
First things first, you look beautiful!!!!! Second, the way you feel about fall and the change of the season is 100% how I feel.
Hi!!! This is my favorite time of the year! I can't wait to welcome my son in October. 🌲🍁🎃
I feel so lucky to love fall and winter. Seasonal depression seems so awful.
While hospitalized this past week I enjoyed this video several times. Autumn is the best and this was so welcomed Thanks Natalie. Keep loving family and life.
Get well soon!!!! Thanks for spending some time with me during your hospital stay. 🤎
Absolutely my most favorite time of year!! I totally understand the cozy romanticized feelings much fall!!
You completely explain my feeling when fall comes around!!!! I feel exactly the same way! I love it!!
September 1st is when the fall content creators come alive! Cannnnnnnot wait!
I LOVE fall!!!! It makes me feel nostalgic and I also loved fall since early childhood! Such a wonderful season!
I have always thought I was crazy but I have always said I come alive in the Fall. It’s nice to know I’m not alone.
A thankful heart and a praiseful to God is a blessing
That was so well spoken! I love fall too and you put in words so well maybe why I feel that way. It’s cooler so curling up, being cozy and slowing down feels like the perfect thing to do……. It’s my favourite season! And let the knitting begin!
So much of this I need to hear. Prone to complaining 🙋😞 and need to be more grateful daily. 🍂💕
I just love the fall season . The weather is amazing, not too hot, not too cold and all the colours and fresh smell are really mezmerising 💞💞💞💞
This video so perfectly describes how I feel about fall! Love everything about this video 🍁🍂
I LOVE fall and winter and all the cozy things that go with them!!
I'm a summer girl but what I like in the fall is to wear my favorite sweaters and it's chilly enough to drink hot cocoa.Have a blessed day.
Natalie... Yes👏👏👏. Finally someone who thinks like me.. I love to deep clean and declutter at the end of summer/start of Fall before the new school year starts and the different Winter celebrations like Halloween, Christmas, New Year etc start, and all the decorations come out.
I love fall! Cooler weather, beautiful colors and just refreshing!
Second week I’ve remembered. Can’t wait to see this sweet family. Great start to a Monday! 🍁🍂🦊
Autumn is my favorite season!! Its full of warm colors and cool weather 🥰
Your intro describes my love for Fall so perfectly!!!!!! 🙌
Our love of fall is the exact same!! Thanks for finding the beautiful words to describe my happiness around fall ♥️♥️
I feel the exact same way about fall! Something about it brings me so much joy!
Yes! Yes to all of this! My mom always made the fall so special, and it has made me love it so much. Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for your eloquent words describing your love for fall; I can totally relate! 🍎 🍏 #Back To Fall
Always love your Fall time videos! I was just thinking, I need to watch Natalie’s videos again, she ministers to mamas and I need that right now. Came and was not disappointed! Xoxo
