A big thank you to the Alphabet translation team from Syria for the Arabic captions!
This is the best lecture i have been looking for! Some videos won’t explain the differences between the words and phrases and how to use these words or phrases, the lecturers just ask you to memorise them to increase your vocabulary, in the end , students try to use the big words which are seldom used by native speakers in their daily conversations.

Great, Margarete!
@@Oxfordonlineenglish1 THANK YOU!
I've noted that when we use phrasal verbs with non English native speakers, they often don't understand what we mean whereas with English native speakers sometimes I try some new phrasal verbs that I learnt and they understand. There are some phrasal verbs who are very uncommon that even English native speakers might not understand, so I think we should learn all the common phrasal verbs.
Really helpful ..please do some more videos on phrasal verbs
We're glad you found the lesson useful. We have another lesson on business phrasal verbs which you might also find helpful: www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/phrasal-verbs-for-business.

Hmm
Thank you. As soon as my parents come along at the airport, I greet them and help with their luggage. After having lunch at a restaurant, John heads off his friends at the hotel. If you make a list of shopping, I will pop out and get items at the supermarket.
Thanks for sharing! Here are some corrections for you:
1) 'Come along' means to go with you/someone. Therefore, it would be better to say something like: 'As soon as my parents get to the airport...' not, 'come along'.
2) '...John heads off with his friends...' or, '...John heads off to the hotel,' not, '...John heads off his friends at the hotel'.
3) 'If you make a shopping list...' not, 'a list of shopping'.
Hope this is useful for you!
@@Oxfordonlineenglish1 Thank you.

My Tuesday FCE lesson is ready now.
“turn up“ is an action of turning, when someone tells someone to turn up or down the volume, that person physically turns the knob on the stereo player up or down action.
When I watched this video I said to my friend come along and help with these difficult sentences but he headed off me and quickly popped out
Is these sentences right ?
Thanks for sharing! Here is a suggestion:
'...but he headed off and,' not, 'headed off me'.
Everything else looks good; nice job!
