Hi Shanda, so good to see you again. As always I love all of your WHIPS. I live out in the country, in Kansas. We don't have mountains but we do have rolling plains and fields of wheat and corn that love to look at. My most favorite sight is to see my two horses and my neighbors horse herd grazing in the pastures. Like you, I am enjoying being outside now because July and August can get very hot and muggy here. Happy sewing and enjoy the rest of your summer.

OhhI finished one and went back was ohohoh Shanda!! I have missed you! Great wips! I lived about an hr from the one huge fire near the city of Halifax and about 2.5 from the massive one. They are both out finally but just and we had rain for 5 days straight. Because of the winds my area of Nova Scotia didn’t get any smoke issues but many lots their homes.
So happy to see you again! Eye candy is right❤ My husband & I LOVE Idaho. He goes every year to bear hunt (going on 8 yrs I think) and elk. We’ve also been sturgeon fishing on the snake river. It’s just so beautiful!! Happy Stitching & I can’t wait to see more finishes 😊
So good to see you. Just returned from a visit in Colorado where we visited Rocky Mountain National Park, which was so beautiful and lots of wild animals were out and about. Here in Wisconsin we are entering a drought, have to water my garden several times a week to keep it growing. Hope your garden is doing well. So good to see all the projects you are working on. Hope you had a good time at Quilter's Stations retreat.

That view!! What a gift. Good to see you on floss tube. Your work is lovely and you are incredibly productive . I especially like the quilt block. I’m working on a similar pattern by Missouri Star called “Antique Lace”, using beige and off white to give an appearance of old lace. Lots of cutting, but worth it!
Loved seeing Lucy Mack. I stitched it when I first came back to cross stitch. I made a big mistake. I put it in the hoop the wrong way so I had to figure out how to add a piece on the bottom. I did finish but haven't fully finished it.
Hi Shanda! I have the same problem with internet as you, only I’m down in the Snake River Canyon west of Twin Falls and we don’t have enough towers on the canyon edge to aim at. You have been so generous in sharing the books you’ve read - thought i could share with you? “The Dress Diary- Secrets From a Victorian Woman’s Wardrobe” by Dr. Kate Strasdin who is a fashion historian, museum curator and lecturer at Falmouth University. She writes about a “diary” (more like a scrapbook), of Mrs. Anne Sykes who kept scraps of her cloth as well as friends and family and annotated it- the fabric pictures are amazing!!
