*When I'm not on it, I keep my '08 Honda 'Metropolitan' in the house!* *It still looks and performs like 'fresh from the show-room' although I've upgraded with 'performance parts'
that mean the scooter can hit 42mph, the engine and exhaust are 'factory'*
*I weigh 220lbs. so that is VERY fast for an 'almost stock' scooter!*
*I love my 'little 'Mighty Fifty' Honda and will never let it go, because it's never failed to start
and run perfect and light enough I can pick it up easily*
*I like the job you did on the '70cc Honda' which was called the 'Passport' model here in America like all the smaller Hondas were, but our roads are too fast for the smaller-engine
machines, but they are fine for City traffic that is usually 35 to 45-mph speed-limits*
My Honda has a 'liquid-cooled' engine and has never overheated even climbing hills and over
90-degrees outside!
I had a 1971 C50 (unrestricted) UK registered and was happy to get 40 mph out of it. Downhill it could get to 50 :).The saddest day was when it was stolen even though it was securely chained from the back garden.
You guys do awesome work. Just shows what determination can accomplish. Keeping us entertained too! Multi talented.

Change the turn signal light to round one, the main lamp to round one, add round chrome mirror, add a basket at the front. Itd look like pretty retro scooter 🤤

I've just bought a 1980 c 70 in aquarius blue 6volt fully restored old round headlight model paid eighteen hundred pounds for it I've had 12 c90s 70s in 34 years cant pick them up for 50 quid anymore worth every penny love them.

Another great Job. Well done Metal Restoration! When you come across the earlier 6 volt bikes do you leave them 6 V or do a 12 V conversion? Do you have an opinion or experience with the Lifan replacement motors??
Hello, im an experienced bike worker and i can tell from experience that the Lifan engines are a good option for replacing the original one, comes with a lighting coil + is 12v system all the way.
