I was on a catamaran ferry going from France to England once in the 90's and we got caught in a storm...I 100% thought we were going to die, there was about 300 passengers vomiting simultaneously...it was the last time I got on a catamaran ferry.
Had to get one 3 days every week for a year to make it to college. Would not recommend in the stormy winter 1/10. 1 point for the entertainment of people trying to stand and falling over while the boat was battling the big waves
This is BF 83 Audacious, a "Pair Trawler", when two boats trawl in a team.The boat it's being filmed from is basically identical.👍
They're not Trawling in these conditions, they lay to head to wind and wait till the wind and swell decreases, to fish in seas like this is only ever likely to tear their nets to shreds, I've worked our of Brixham, and Newlyn, on Beamers, Trawlers, and Poters we never fished in any windspeed over 25 knots, it's not worth the risk

You are true, but Allah said Sea Air And Land made ways for Travellers. Some times looks very deadly even loses, but most of them reached their destination after all Sea Waves. Anticipate reply message for you

The bulbous bow makes the ride rougher in weather like this . A regular bow cuts through the wave better in this type of sea .

I'd say it is the size and shape of the vessel making it look worse than it is. I fished up in the Bering Sea and watched vessels bigger than that disappear in the swells. Those waves aren't that bad at all.
