My family have a long tradition of going to sea . I'm a gardener. I think I made the right choice.
Indeed you did
We film some of the largest waves ever caught on camera.
We work with 2 North Sea oil platforms that can accurately measure wave height so no guessing or exaggeration.
Enjoy 🌊🌊

Notvrealy long futre seay innthe garden
our ancestors navigated through those waves with wooden ships. imagine how many got wrecked and are still somewhere hidden on the bottom of the ocean. so fascinating.
i was thinking the same thing...mighty fearless men sailed the oceans
😨
Valhalla!!!
some of those guys got to the other side of the world, walked across the continent, chopped down trees, built a new ship, wove sails and sailed the rest of the way around the globe home.
The old man flying across the dining room just had me dying 😂😂😂
Yooo
I am eagerly searching for this comment😂😂😂.. Seriously poor old grandpa
Some paranormal activity shit right there lol
5:40 he said, i am out of here, bye 😂
I was on a Navy destroyer some years back in the North Atlantic in January. I was an engineer for Lockheed Martin and we were on sea trials prior to selling the ship off to the Navy. We ran into a typhoon. Fortunately, we steered mostly clear, but got caught in the fringes for several hours. We had huge waves breaking easily over the bridge wings of the ship, which would make the waves at least 80 feet high. I actually had a great time admiring the magnificence and power of the sea, but it tossed that ship around like a cork in a bathtub. It is a force to be reckoned with and taken very seriously.
Whatever that storm was, it certainly wasn't a typhoon ! Typhoons are tropical cyclones and only occur in Occidental waters!
Master chef dad storm 100 fot wats kitel bot calmer
Look up the meaning of capsizing before you use it again!
Exactly what I was thinking 😮
I😂😂😂😊😮😅😅
Yep. No yawing, or rocking. Straight as an arrow.
Yeah...I got to the end of the video and was still waiting for the 'almost capsizes' part.
Putting the cup on,or taking it off
I loved getting a Norweigan Cruise Line ad during this video
😂
Whatever they get paid, it's not enough.
6 figures is what they’re paid. That’s too much. No one should make that much money. If someone is making 100k or more a year, they either need to pay 80% in income tax, or give most of their income to charity
@@twstdreality They are literally risking their lifes and are gone from home for months
I live on the North Sea coast & have done my whole life. I've seen some brutal seas over the years. But God only knows how bad the Seas were miles off the coast. The local fishermen have seen it all, for me they've either got a death wish or they're just mad. I'm actually sitting in my car looking out at the Sea right now. It's a pretty calm day today but last week there was a storm & it took the top of one of the light houses off.
Here’s your chance to find out.

Who else is here to watch some ships get smacked around by wind and water?
The descriptions of some of the ships/boats in the video are incorrect. Do your homework - always post accurate content, or don't bother posting. Thanks.
Like I do.

Birds belong in the sky, and fish belong in the sea, and people belong on land. End of discussion. 😂
😂
Most people...
And this is why I stay on shore😄
The fishing boat isn't even in rough seas , never mind capsizing. There aren't freak waves. Only waves and bigger waves, they're common.
The sea was angry that day my friends. Like an old man trying to send soup back at a deli.
😂😂😂😂
Lovin it😊😃
💩💩💩 REaLLy, 😢 SURVIVING JUS AiN'T WHAt............. oR Maybe I was dReAmInG and forgot to Go to SLeEP🥶😳🙄 PEACE 🌍 WIDE
The seas are so strong and treat these massive ships like they're nothing!
#8 isn't even in particularly bad weather. The ship has already taken on water, that's why the crew is on deck wearing life jackets.
Legend has it the old man on the cruise ship is still sliding
Yup I have been in my share of 50 foot Seas in the North Atlantic Winter Storms.
50 foot? 🤯
I love the sounds of a ship in a storm...the ship creaking and knocking...the wind howling...it's better than a horror movie!
Below are the arrogant experts. 🙄 Don't let that distract you from this awesome video. 😏
Been there a great many times. Cannot beat a bit of roughers
Number 6 wasn't in a massive storm and it certainly didn't almost capsized. I'm willing to bet most of the crew was asleep in their bunks not worried about a damn thing. Where do you get off even putting that in here? I have seen worse waves in wave pools!
Yep, that's the kind of waves they spend a whole season in on Deadliest Catch. Nothing to see here
It’s 1:17am of course I’m going to click on this
Awesome!! I ❤ my solid ground ☝️🙏👍🤞🍀🤜🤛🃏🫂🥰 to all out on ships !! xxx
Too bad the narrator knew less than nothing about the sea
The channel needs to be terminated if they are going to be ignorant like they were in this video. I’ve already reported the video multiple times on different accounts
The waves on the great lakes may not reach the same size, but that doesn't make them any less dangerous. Seeing those super massive waves, I notice something similar. In stormy seas the first big wave lifts them higher, only to crash hard into the second one. Lake Superior develops the Three Sisters. First one lifts, then you hit the second hard, and the third one hits hard a fast. Waves are spaced closer together, so, it's rough going when you are caught out in horrendous conditions. I'm a Great Lakes sailor, but I am on a 40 footer. Storms can form out of nowhere, with no predictions calling for it. It's best to know what to do if you have to save yourself until help comes. Have a plan, and follow the plan. Panic is not an option.
wow...luar biasa keberanian para pelaut. Jaya terus Para Pelaut.
5:40 people exchanging tables and friends 😂
No 10. look at all the water? What a gift the lass has.
These mariners have nerves of steel. I admittedly do not and could never be on a ship in these conditions I would be a nervous wreck 😅
Какие отважные!
3,34 lap wing was nowhere near capsizing, just another day at seasfor them.
as a former sea captain and AB unlimited, what bugs me about Lapwing is how fast and close she comes up the port quarter in those rough seas.
@@jollyrodgers7272
EXACTLY! I was waiting for the impact!
@@jollyrodgers7272 Yep. That was some smart arse at the wheel that day; that could have went wrong very quickly. Lapwing is from my home town of Peterhead.
Number 4 isn’t a cruise ship, it’s the truckers cafe on a cross channel ferry.
Just think about all the sharks under the ships saying come baby, come on baby dump the crunchy people overboard.
A few inconsistencies here, fishing boat almost capsizes , nope, last one a Navy ship, looks to be an oil or grain ship.
Being on those ships is terrifying
9 озвучка норм)
That peterhead (PD) registered white fish trawler didnt nearly capsize. Thats standard for those boats to be in, in the north sea. Experienced it many times, especially there.
A great bit of camerawork though.
The container ship didn’t “collide “ with the wave. Colliding is a situation where something is avoidable but a mistake was made resulting in a collision. This ship was travelling on a course through waves. The same with the trawler I’d didn’t nearly capsize it was going through the waves very well. Capsizing is when the waves hit the ship on the side and the ship rolls over. If you use words in the wrong context or explanation it just makes you look foolish.
Hear hear! Some great vids of the conditions professional mariners may routinely encounter, but presented in an inflammatory fashion out of pure ignorance. None of these vessels is close to capsize, but the one that is closest is No8 with all that free water trapped on deck.
It's UA-cam. You expect linguistic excellence here? We're lucky to read one sentence that makes sense!
Vídeo top parabéns
I'm no shipping expert but ...
Number 4 is clearly NOT a cruise ship I'd suggest that it is a Cross Channel ferry.
Number 2 is NOT a cruise ship in my opinion but it looks very much like the ferry that runs from Denmark via Iceland to Greenland.
Number 1 is NOT in my opinion a navy ship but it looks very much like a cargo ship.
greetings from Vietnam. very good video
Waooooow!!! Cuacanya sangat extrem dan mengerikan
The German warship in #3 wasn’t hit by a wave. It went into the trough between the waves and the bow went under the next wave. Leave the maritime videos to creators who understand them.
Pipe down you muppet.
I can't believe that you missed the one in the tea cup.
Imagine sailing a ship in the 1700s across these waters.
It is a relentless power of the nature!!! 👀
Nice to know the warships are keeping the white walkers at bay
No 6 fishing boat was perfectly safe, almost capsizs !! really
5:38 Lol. "Nice talkin to ya bob!"
I used to watch the ships stuck outside the port of Aberdeen on a rough day. Giant things. /\/\
Did that guy just go from 0 to 50 in two secs in a damn chair! Bahahahahaha!!!!!
Just imagine you are aboard of a US Navy destroyer hitting those waves.
That last ship ( No1 ) isn’t a Naval ship it’s a bulk carrier, you can clearly see the massive hatches.
the first one is unbelievable
It could be that the vessel you see is not meant for use out on the open sea, but only for rivers and canals. There's a similar-looking video, Mothervessel Arvin that breaks in half as it just can't cope with medium-size waves. ua-cam.com/video/gaZhnNlutuQ/v-deo.html I only learned later that especially Panama-flagged ships, with underpaid crews sail on these boats. They are cheap as they are usually in bad condition and certainly not seaworthy.
The fact so much water stays on deck, strengthens my idea that the vessel in the first clip of this compilation is not meant for the rough seas, but only for quiet rivers and canals.
@@weeardguy bro, NOTHING is built for that wave
@@patrickdwyer320 Ah wait... I got the clip wrong, I meant the second clip, not the first ;)
O my these are really strong!!!!!!!!!!! 🛥 wave🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊
3:02 same 😂
All 10 videos so scary 😨😳
I worked on an eastern rig that resembled the Lapwing. 60 ft she was beautiful made from Oak after the 2nd WW. They made them from metal after that .
For my the nineth is a monster wave!
I thought the charming acoustic soundtrack was well chosen
In number 4, they must have been performing some kind of drill or exercise, otherwise I can't imagine two vessels getting that close together in seas like that. Dangerous!!
Pretty obvious the OP has never been to sea.
I love the land
The land love me
I'm never going to betray it
Record of sea science
Number 8 picked up the chest of sorrow
❤❤super vidio i like you
Neither the tanker nor the small fishing boat are near to capsizing.
💕 Wow🧡🧡🧡💙💙💙🧡
Wow

Look up the meaning of capsizing
I think capsize means like if wave rogue maybe flips boat over or the balance of vessel is not even like leaning to a certain degree of a pitch don’t no but sounds good
10 they laughing but from being too nervous and scared lol
Number 1 is not even the most replayed part 🤣🤣
Thanks for not adding annoying music background
Sailors definitely should get paid a heck alot more than what they get paid
Yes they shoul
The term you should use is
“ almost swamped” .
3:02 in those massive storms do the ships stop moving to wait it out?
Insane waves 🌊
♥️
👍👍👍
I'll get so sick while riding anything
But not if I'm driving or flying or handling it
I just can't be a passenger
man RIP that lady that went flying on no.4
❤❤🔥🔥👍
Real original content, keep your day job Squidley...
5:39 I thought I saw some dude go flying across the room
😂😂😂😂
I liked #8 at 1:16 The Boat is half submerged and the water is up to the guys chest ....But he's still smoking his cigarette.....ain't nothing gonna stop him from having his smoke break LOL. and at 5:37 How can anyone eat on a ship that's in a storm and the chairs and tables are flying across the room..

Jesus Christ everyone in the comments is an expert.
Certainly more expert than the commentary; I think my cat would be, she has been to sea.
@@timweather3847you were triggered. I got you.
I'd rather be out in a hurricane than work behind a desk.
Baloney Sandwich! Most professional seamen have seen worse, and lived to tell about it. #1 is NOT a Navy vessel - rather a Bulk Carrier of some sort. If it was nice every day, everybody would be going to sea.
Its HMNZS Otago (P148) a Protector-class offshore patrol vessel in service with the Royal New Zealand Navy. It operates throughout New Zealand's 200 mile Exclusive Economic Zone
