- One day in Tunisia - Our cruise stopped in the port of La Goulette and we spent one day exploring the beautiful city of Tunis, the Bardo Museum, the ruins of Cartage and the stunning village of Sidi Bou Said. In one day in Tunisia there is a lot to see and explore. Starting from the ancient street of old Tunis. We then moved to the amazing Bardo museum where you can admire the biggest collection of Roman mosaics in the world. Our one day in Tunisia continued by visiting the ruins of the Antoninius Bath in the old roman city of Cartage. We ended up our visit of one day in Tunisia by esporing the charming little village of Sidi Bou Said with its white and turquoise homes and the stunning views of the Mediterranean. In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
I liked the amount of information and variety, enabling us to decide what we want to focus on when we visit in the oming months. Thank you.

The square minaret is of Tunisian steel, and the Zaytouna Mosque was the first to use this type of in Africa and the Islamic West. Sidi Bou Said existed before the existence of Andalusia, and it was called the Carthage Plateau before the Tunisian saint, Sidi Bou Said, settled in it and died there, and after that they named it after him. These columns are Carthaginian columns and were taken from the archaeological site in Carthage and Al-Zahra in Qartah Al-Andalus. They were built with columns taken from Carthage in Tunisia from the book of the historian Ibn Adhari. The Bardo Museum contains Carthaginian mosaics from the Carthaginian, Roman, and Byzantine eras. Carthaginian Aquaduct and Carthaginian Baths. I tried as much as possible to correct for you some of the incorrect information that you heard from the tour guide who is not familiar with the history and the expeditions that were conducted in the archaeological sites. Sidi bousaid is not built by andalusians no hhh it's built by a Saint Muslim Tunisian named sidi bousaid elbeji from beja that's why the town has his name ... alot of wrong infos in this vlog but yet it was a delight to watch my country through your eyes come again if you have the opportunity..wishing someday be able to visit your country

Most tourist guides do not know history and work randomly because if they were familiar with Tunisian history, they would know that they are misleading tourists. This is a long story that happened after the revolution in 2011. Those with qualifications and academic degrees do not work in Tunisia, and most of them immigrated abroad and work outside the country because the authorities have begun to give jobs based on favoritism and not on competence, and the result is clear. Yesterday I watched a korean vlogger's video who was guiding and misleading by a filthy african who played the role of tourist guide inside the medina ..he gave him tons of lies as infos on our history can you imagine?? Even the tiles he said that they are spanich 😂 and the beys are Turkish 😂
The government ( the bunch of not just corrupted but traitors) is held responsible of such pitying reality
You can enter the mosque courtyard only the prayer room is forbidden for non Muslims
It's not forbiden, you just need to wear the appropriate clothes to go in 👌🏻

@@anaislr6215 the room of prayer is forbidden for none Muslims sweety but the other compartments are allowed and the one and only condition is to be respectful in your outfit
