- True "barn find" well sitting in a field. This 1953 Dodge M37 Power Wagon was pushed out to a cow pasture back in 1989. Missing parts, engine stuck. Long before I had my You Tube channel I was still rescuing old vehicles. While digging through old photos and video clips I came across enough content to make a short video of this cool truck.
Produced with CyberLink PowerDirector 21 - Авто та транспорт
I'm not a Dodge man, but they sure knew how to build them back in the day. Great rescue!
It was a good truck. Just so slow, and under powered. No fun in the mountains
My pops just told me a few stories of his fire department that had one of these when we had brush fires (actually quill weeds we are on the coast) back in his hey day. You gave him a chuckle...thanks Willy!!
Glad he like it! It just wasn't a great ride for the mountain's so she had to go
@FlatBroke Garage he is waiting in Ernst for the cutlass videos. Give him a shout out some video. Name is Buzz. I haven't heard from the pick up guy. Tell him to give me a shout. My birthday is the end of April so ......
Wow to cool, you look awesome in it Bill🤫😊 Cheers🍺🍻 KC 🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸😎👍✌
Great rescue 😊👍 My father had a 1943 Dodge WC 52 with the same engine 24 years ago. A great vehicle 😊
Thanks! Was a fun project, just not the best vehicle when you live in the mountains
@@flatbrokegarage My pleasure 😊 I would imagine it was a fun project 😊 Yes is not the fastest vehicle and with hills and mountains i believe it will going to take quite some time to get there.
@Focus 82 Groth M. yep, super slow up hill. Scary downhill 😆
@@flatbrokegarage I would imagine that 😨😨
Awesome! Who wouldn’t love cruising in that!
When I lived in Wisconsin, it was fun to bomb around in. But living where I do now (the Smoky mountains) you would have to be a braver man than me. Brakes on that, although new, were only slightly better than Fred Flintstones. 😆
I always thought they were one of the coolest military vehicles the US had.
Cool video brotha!!
Wow. Very cool truck. Like you I have owned many cool vehicles in the past and many cool builds,. Long before I started my own You tube channel (unfortunately). Good you had the old footage !
Thanks! Who would have thought back then someone would want to watch us? I started with old tractors from the teens and 1920s, but only photos. I subbed to your channel good job, nice comet!
@@flatbrokegarage Thank you Sir !!!! Me too.
Engineer how she’d do on power tour??
Would be about the worst thing in the world 😆 she barely got over 45 mph 😒
Do you still have it?
I brought it with me when we moved to Tennessee, but after driving it around here (the smoky mountains) I quickly discovered it had no GO for uphill, and the worst part was no WHOA for down hills. So I sold it shortly after to a flat lander 😆
@@flatbrokegarage I've always wanted one, but they are hard to find. Catch you tonight live if I can.
Cool truck! Glad you chose to video it. Hey including a four-door and a couple of two doors Ford Torino setting a salvage yard in your part of the country . The UA-cam channel is junk car Willie. If the link is not correct let me know. You were looking for a specific Hood and this yard is all Fords. ua-cam.com/video/78AsJ75OnoI/v-deo.html
I'll check it out thanks!
