I was on this train - my favourite part had to be going through the Severn Tunnel, but I enjoyed every minute of this day out... Sensational! Thank you so much for sharing! 😊
Exceptional and well done, the best video I've watched this year, quite and original idea. Good sound considering the wind. I hope some of my 4.4 M viewers watch it to. Mike on the platform in Cardiff
@@Shoddy127 Thanks for the info! I remember now that when you drive steam train rail tours on Midland Main Line in TSW 3 you get 75 mph on the HUD though the line speeds are higher. Must be fun to let go at at least that speed.
It probably could @kimsndergaard973 but we’re only allowed to run at 75mph (120kmh) on the mainline here in the UK but she did like running fast when she got going!
@Shoddy127 its so funny about steam because its acting like its alive...i have always love steam locomotives since i was little boy and now im 35 years but i will always be fan of Steam 💪
@@Shoddy127 if I knew how plus had the correct gear I wouldn't mind trying to create films like that but the issue will be how to attach it. Plus the other issue would be getting permission off someone.
My My this railway engine can still run at a fantastic fast speed good old gal
Thank You! Loved every mile of that journey!
Thanks Val, glad you enjoyed it!
In wonderful 'nick' for 100 years old. Hope I'm running around like that in 25 years time.

Brilliant video! I was on the train so great to see my journey from the front. I've subscribed!
Cheers Henry, thought it was you that I saw on the platform & glad you enjoyed the footage.
You can feel that she wants to go faster. The safety valve now and then. What was the top speed here?
We’re registered to go up to 75mph on the national network.

I am loving this video of a steam train stretching its legs but what haopens to mainline steam whe wr go to the akl smoke free era?
That will never happen.
It can go around 160 kmh or maybe little bit more if u really really push it

@Shoddy127 i know because of Safety and a steam is really slow to accelerate up to speed so that need a lot of km to reach speed
@Shoddy127 but fantastic video...💪👍

Is the camera mounted to a lamp bracket?
Hi, no it’s fixed to the running board by a magnet.
@@Shoddy127 you should try and make a video showing how you attach it to the loco.
Which camera did you use to record this.
GoPro Hero 4 Silver, it’s not a recent one but does what I want it to do comfortably.
@@Shoddy127also how did you attach the camera to the loco.
@@MasterMoyle Via a magnet.

@@MasterMoyle Well I’m lucky enough to be in that position thankfully so as & when I can capture these types of video, I do!
