Hidden unused transitions in LEGO Island

Most LEGO Island players are familiar with its trademark "blocky" transition between rooms, but did you know there were more written into the code that ultimately went unused? Thanks to LEGO Island Rebuilder co-developer Ramen2X for making this discovery.

I wonder if the transitions are stored in a simple C enum. If that's the case, "UNKNOWN" could be used as if it was upper bound limit of that enum. Something like:
enum TransitionType { TRANSITION_CUT, TRANSITION_BLOCKY, ..., TRANSITION_END };
