    Thank you very much for sharing your puff pastry GF recipe! - i'm Portuguese living in Brazil and I really appreciated it... I have seen some GF mixes for puff but with sweet rice flour and sorghum, quite difficult to find here. In Portugal we use a lemon peel together with the cinnamon stick and I prefer to boil them with the milk while scalding it, rather than the sugar syrup, but it doesn't matter. The main difference is that most Portuguese recipes I am aware of do thicken the milk and flour mix on the stove, than add the syrup and lastly the egg yolks. I suspect that if one use your method and take the custard to thicken slightly over the stove before baking the end result will be more creamy perhaps.

    Got both of your books here recently and wanted to let you know how much I love them. And these are next on the list to tackle! Looks amazing (was staring in the book, but the vid pushed me over the edge!) and definitely need these in my life. My jean size might not, but the rest of me is loudly over ruling any such concerns.

    I usually add cinnamon powder on top and then enjoy with a cold glass of milk yum

    I just watched Somebody Feed Phil where he has these and almost cried at the thought that I'd never be able to have them, I'm not much of a baker but I'm pretty sure I'll have to try these out, maybe with the help of a friend once we can do that again 😅

    Think my pastry may be disaster trying with shop bought not confident to make own yet. Am hoping can mould so a tart like case tried to make 6 only 🤞

    I have so bad ibs that even fodmap doesnt help :( dont know what to do. Cant eat banana or even half potato or even little bit of meat. I only eat berries and jogurht right now... so hungry. Sorry rant. Looks delicious!

      Thank you! I struggle with a low of foods that are low FODMAP - keeping a food diary can really help to identify your triggers. Mark struggles with red meat, but chicken, turkey and fish are ok with him - it really does vary from person to person. Hope you feel better soon x
