what if it's something like (-7√3)(11√10)
Multiply the integers together and multiply the square roots together: -77 square root 30
How comes in the fourth one you don’t simplify?
I was thinking the same thing myself…
-10(root of 35) = -10(root of 7)(root of 5) = -10(root of 7) - 10(root of 5)
Now these can be combined with the earlier terms in the question for a final answer of
12 + 5(root of 7) - 18(root of 5)
