    What about knowing the name of the notes on the strings up and down the guitar neck!! That helped me a lot!! Still waiting for that, "What is Post-Black Metal?" I know that will make it good and funny!! Come on dude!!

      Learning your tremolo picking is more important than theory in black metal

      Much of bm is played outside of scales, but it sure doesn’t hurt to know the notes in the fretboard.

    The Masterclass we truly need. I liked the classical guitar, it looks well played and well loved.
    On one note, I personally recommend being able to read sheet music because there's some really cool classical music pieces. You can adapt what they're doing to get really metal sounds. Being able to sight-read isn't important unless you plan on using it, but I tell people I teach to learn like you DO plan on using it, because you'll be more diligent.

      I used only my practice amp Ibanez Toneblaster 30, and on the end the guitar was recorded with shure sm57 mic. But you don't need that one for practice

    Active or passive bass/guitar for black metal ,what is the best choice.

      I would go with passive, you can always buy an eq pedal if you change your mind and it has way more options than regular active bass preamp anyway... It is simply less things to care about, mainly you don‘t have to worry about changing battery every now and then.
