15W is fast enough. The faster the charger, the shorter the battery life in the long term anyway.
Absolutely right. I charge my phone with a non fast charging adapter even though my phone is fast charge capable.

the only reason i'm choosing the cloud navy color is because the back camera isn't colored. Its black how it should be and not the color of the rest of the body, which would be a bit childish.

i feel like the plastic back really isn't a compromise when it allows the phone to both wirelessly charge and reverse wireless charge
I hate glass. It breaks so quick and you have a cover around it anyways.

The S20 FE is the best value phone Samsung has released in years! I mean even the S10 lite with a snapdragon 855 didn't have flagship features like dex or ip68 water resistance and wireless charging. It's got everything for just $699 and also it is the fastest samsung phone that's out with snapdragon 865 world wide!! I'm so getting this phone!!🔥🔥
here in Europe, it comes with 750euro (Snap 865)! The 4G version with exinos CPU -650euro. And I think its overpriced.

Hello good time What is the reason for the hot 4G version of Samsung s20fe? I bought this phone a month ago, but unfortunately it gets very hot. please help.
@@hossein.gholami unfortunately that is mostly because of the Exynos 990 chipset present in the 4g version which has know to be extremely hot and less power efficient whereas the 5g version comes with the Snapdragon 865 which is the actal good one in my opinion!
Picked mine up today. It’s honestly a cool phone. Definitely a perfect upgrade for me from the S9. It’s a nice size. It’s got a good weighty feel to it. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap. I love the flat display. I was over the curved edge honestly. It’s snappy and smooth.
The guy at the store had no idea what phone I was talking about when I came in to get my trade in promo. It dropped today and he didn’t even know he had them in the store.
How's the performance compared to the S9? I'm coming from S9 as well, waiting for my pre-order to arrive.
@jmwreck its a world of difference. The 120hz refresh rate is amazing. The FE feels so snappy with its chipset. I feel like I got an awesome upgrade for sure. No regrets here. I’m a photographer and don’t take phonetography too seriously because I have cameras, but the cameras don’t suck on this phone. The telephoto is a little less quality but it’s still not terrible. They render images nicely and the super wide is really fun. Good images in a pinch.
I use facial recognition and it’s open as soon as I look at my phone.
Again that 120hz display is butter.

@@gixi430 I'm going to bed with about 20-30% left. Figure I wake up between 7:30-8:00am and go to bed around midnight. I'm also on my phone a lot during the day. It's good battery. I was charging my S9 almost twice a day.

One of the most beautiful devices I have ever bought. On price it blows everything away. Specs, speed, feel, cameras, just amazing. A free active watch with my deal was a great bonus.

Here's my thing, I just got this phone and I love it. First of all no one can tell the difference between a 4k screen and a 1080p screen at the distance we typically view screens from. Secondly, 6-8 GB of ram is good enough for everything you can do on a phone. I hate curved screens with no bezels because my fingers get in the way when I hold those phones and with a case on it makes it difficult to use gestures. The last thing is that a plastic back is more durable and won't shatter, and most people use a case anyway and won't see the back.
Hello: I enjoyed the video! Just a few comments. I received my S20 FE 5G from Verizon 4 days ago. It's the best phone I've ever owned, without a doubt! I bought the "Cloud Red" but was surprised when I unboxed it. It's not red! The color is more like reddish-brass! Not red. I put a Spigen clear case on it and I'm rockin' out. The 120Hz refresh rate is great. Have a great day. Be safe and be well.

THE S20 FE IS THE MORST COMPELLING PHONE OF THE YEAR with 95% of the ultra features. And just because its at a midrange price, doesn't mean its a midrange phone. If thats the case, than the iphone 11 at 699$ is also a midrange phone
I have the s10+, trade in value is $450, making the price 250$, plus a 70$ credit that they give you to put towards another product . HOW CAN YOU BEAT THAT !!!
And idk why ppl keep brining up the standard s20 for 670 on Amazon, BECAUSE YOU DONT GET A WARRANTY FROM AMAZON. Plus it's 670. The 699 FE has trade in program bringing the price down to 300$ so yea, trade it in

Excellent review, surprisingly I am between this and the Galaxy Fold 2. Honestly was leaning toward the FE and get a S Book since I am home for the most part. I probably will get the Fold whatever when we safely head back outdoors. Thanks for getting the red. I love blue but this color pops so much and your video really shows it. Clear case for me

Got the cloud orange today and I'm loving it. Sometimes looks orange and then sometimes peach depending on the lighting. Had the regular s20 and I like this one a lot more.
Is there really a difference with camera quality coming from the Regular S20?

I am getting the red fe in a week or so. I'm so excited. A lot of people say the camera is a downgrade from other 20s but I don't care about that I'm not a big picture taker

This is the phone Samsung should have released when they released the original s20 series! Most people don’t like the curve edge! I hope Samsung make all their future phones flat panel & color options! Great video Shane!

I've had this phone for a week and I love it! My carrier has it but only in the blue color. And it was cheaper getting it from the carrier than the website. It immediately upgraded to Android 12 and I am in love. My favorite color is red though. Haven't tested the camera but I like the AR emoji.

This may be a stupid question but hows the haptics on this phone? I have the A71 and the haptics are super mushy feeling, I hate it lol. Is the S20 FE the same or better?
It doesn't feel as nice as the iPhone or even S7 haptics because they use a similar size vibration motor.
Good question. They don't feel quite as good as on the premium flagship phones (note 20, fold 2). They're just alright.

I stopped by Bestbuy to get my FE but it wasn’t there yet and so I checked out the FE on display and compared to the A71. For me the Haptics

Hi Shane, Thank you for sharing your unboxing experience. I am really hoping i can upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE soon as i can....I love samsung and for everything you get out of the phone i think it's a great deal from Samsung!! Right now i have the iphone XR but i do enjoy iphones and android devices. I don't have any loyalty to any devices, i just buy what i like regardless what people think, even if something has a negative review i test out the device myself before i say it's not a good device....But I don't need the newest or the best stuff that comes out. I love tech not get me wrong....I'm a nerd to be honest! But i just tend to buy things that aren't the newest only because devices are so damn expensive i mean Samsung and Iphones are both way too much money for any of their phones usually!!! But i think this Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is boss for the price and way better than any iPhone at this price! And i love iphones but my patience with them is wearing very thin....They are always freezing, or having hiccups. I like my XR but it does have a mind of it's own sometimes. I just want a change back to android. iPhones are pretty much always the same....They look a little different but overall their always the same. At least with android, they change the look of each phone their all different, iphones are always way too much i mean their pretty and nice looking but no phone should be $1,000 or more...to me that's ridiculous!!! But hopefully if i do get this phone if i even can i'll really like it, i'm never sticking with a phone Lol i'm always changing phones i'm not sure why but for the longest time i only have a phone a few months maybe 8-9 months then get sick of it and want to change to something else. I just hope i like this phone but since i have T-Mobile they only have the Mint, lavender and navy for the colors.....I Really wanted the white but the lavender looks nice looks more like pink anyway. I also like the mint

Yep I saw it as an option when ordering a Galaxy S20 FE from samsungs site. It says its shipping October 16th so it will be a couple weeks yet but I will definitely cover it!

It's an amazing phone really and actually i prefer the plastic back over the glass back, it has a very good price with the 865 sd processor and i love the colors more than the s20(s) colors.
MY MAIN PROBLEM IS THE DISPLAY SIZE. 6.5 is just huge, wish they could make the next fe of the s phones with a 5.5 max display.

I think my biggest factor in determining whether I should go with the FE is the camera quality. Coming from my old Galaxy J7 pro, I really want a fairly recent but affordable phone (like the FE) but with a good camera. I'm tired of not being able to take selfies without looking like a blur lol. So is the FE camera good enough ?
Actually the FE is alright with camera quality when taking pictures although the s21 is better not in my opinion but what the other technicians say is the s21 is better w quality and sum else but the s20 is a better phone and the camera is alright and it’s cheap enough now ig if I don’t mind spending at least 500-600 dollars of course but some can be less.
