Intel invested so much into making these good chips for gaming but y'all don't even mention it? You can actually game on these laptops as long as you keep the settings at low or medium (depending on the game). Microsoft has a marketing campaign saying "this is an Xbox" about all these devices, some of which are questionable, but the Ultra 7 models really can play games
@@WaffleToastering Because the company that made the chips put countless blood, sweat, tears and money into making them good for gaming 😂 I know several people that game on their work laptop
Esto es lo que debió ser la generación pasada, si bien los procesadores ARM tienen mucho potencial aún se encuentran muy limitados en cuanto a software
Microsoft Surface Laptop with Intel Lunar Lake CPU is a perfect match. Those laptops are mostly used for data analysts running Excel, Python, and Power BI. The battery life and full X86 access fixes the only glaring issues with Surface laptops. Snapdragon X Elite fixed the battery life, but Lunar Lake should cover both. Add on the new 120hz refresh rate and iGPU for light 1080p gaming on the side. Playing Counter Strike 2 after a long day of insurance claims analysis.
all the thing you mention have arm native version plus you have pwa support. i do not see the complaint here rather than irrational hatred to windows on arm
@coshvjicujmlqef6047 Gaming sucks on Snapdragon X Elite laptops. Same for video editing. Too many issues with X86 software not being compatible, and people don't want alternative apps. With Snapdragon X Elite laptops, there are some good things. The battery life and pure CPU performance are better when compared to Intel Lunar Lake and AMD Ryzen AI. Especially if all you use is Microsoft apps (O365 apps, Power BI, C#, Typescript, ... etc). Also, the screen resolution standard is high. Intel Arrow Lake for laptops (H & HX CPUs) levels the battery life and CPU performance.
People do not want alternative apps but want alternative OS which is Linux or alternative web browsers like chrome? What a joke. Completely bs, i use none of these microsoft apps. As a linux background person, i compile everything i use from source, and i do not see any issues with it.
Also, you have to understand the entire world is moving to web now. Most apps, particularly android and ios apps support PWA. Like UA-cam, Spotify etc. PWA just works with better battery consumption. I use PWA on my Linux daily drivers every day and i do not see any issues.
Gaming is another bs. Microsoft should simply break anti-cheat system. They run in the kernel space which is exactly how crowdstrike happens. Why microsoft gives other people to access its kernel to temper the integrity of windows kernel? Windows security is already bad enough and anti-cheat makes it worse.
When will you compile first party titles to ARM, so we actually can use that Xbox app on Surface Pro? Steam has more games available than the Xbox app..
MS Surface are best. Thanks for innovative❤. If Microsoft releases Mobiles that’s a game changer. Please give a chance again, Microsoft. We love you. Cheers!❤

Hiya, over the Xmas break I rebuilt the hand-me-down PC I got from getting me son a new gaming rig. Use Rufus plus a standard Windows 11 ISO to create a new USB you can bypass the hardware requirements. Your mileage may vary. Windows on ARM phone when?

@@WilliamSmith-hf8um if the games are running on "LOW" is not good for gaming pal. Gamers want details and fps, not low settings.
@@mariussm7797 Correction: Hard core gamers want those things. There are far more casual gamers than you might be willing to give credit to.
hardcore games should NOT use laptop to play games in the first place. Desktop is cheap and without all the heating shenanigans.

why no intel core ultra 9 288V?

you guys missed the opportunity to make an xbox laptop, thin and light gaming is totally a thing
The moment they realized Windows ARM is not working. :))) Another failed project in the Microsoft cemetery.
It works, but with limits. Snapdragon X Elite is great 0365 apps, Power BI, and C# programming. Video editing and gaming it was horrible.
yes it works

So, can I get a refund on the perfectly functional Surface Go I'm watching this on since your Windows 10-11 upgrade block will prevent me using it?
