Hi Chuck, great video! Could you tell me if the Numa Compact 2's audio outputs are balanced or unbalanced? thanks! Greetings from Buenos Aires
How is the aftertouch on this? On both studiologic SL controllers, it was pretty much on/off. Can the Numa do a subtle sweep?
Interesting! Do you think that now it can truly compare to the Casio PX5S?
I'd also be very interested in the comparison between those 2 keyboards, as they are very similar in price. Thanks!
Hi Chuck! Great video, love your channel!💖 I'm new to recording and I want to record a keyboard solo video to send to UA-cam. So from what I learned on your site, I would want to record in stereo, and I was planning to use a Presonus audiobox iOne basic audio interface, which comes with a free DAW. The i-face has one mic. line input. If I use 2 1/4 inch and a 1/8 inch (into the mic line on i-face) then I would capture the true stereo sound from my keyboard? I would use the 2ringed 1/8 inch cable for stereo. I have an older model Roland FP-5.
谢谢
Hey Chuck - why did you stop selling the StudioLogic line?
Hi PianoManChuck, how they as midi keyboard?
🙏❤
Not enough organ demo
How does the keybed feel? Is it comparable to the Yamaha P-125?
Mike Campbell someone answer the man, I want to know!
The Yamaha P-125 has hammer action keys while this one has semi-weighted. The difference in them is big in terms of both feel and weight of the keyboard. While hammer action will give you a closer feel to the piano, it will also add (at least) 5 kg to the weight of the keyboard.
From the specs, the keybed is the same as the one used in the m-audio axiom (I had the 61 keys version mk2) which I personally liked. That being said, if your only interest is in playing piano, the general consensus is to go for a hammer action and fully weighted keyboard.
PS: I've only just ordered the Numa Compact 2x today after spending a few months doing a bit of research on it and other similar semi-weighted keyboards in the price range so I don't have it yet. Will try to do a review after I get it and play around with it for a while.
That piano sounds awful 😦. Privia is better. And those synth sounds are just run of the mill. But it is nice that you can shape them with the drawbars.
The feeling with the keybed and the piano sound count, the rest is only shit
