GO HABS GO!!!! What a surprise your sweatshirt was!!!! My grandmother would of been so happy to see that. She was a lifetime fan of the team and on her 100th birthday she got the visit from 6 players from the team who brought her an autographed picture of the whole team, she was over the moon and was able to name each players that came that day. Upon going back to her room, she had received a picture from the pope, she removed it and put the picture of the Canadians team in its place, what a day that was for her. She lived to the right old age of 103 and never missed a game. Tks for the memory your sweatshirt brought back. And Thank You ladies for being there for all of us during these uneasy times.
It’s all about enjoying your stitching, if you’re not happy with the fabric or stitches then move on! Life’s too short to not be enjoying your work. I’ve loved spending this time with you.💕🤩🇦🇺
Brenda....I was so happy to hear you say you are not putting anything pandemic in your Stitching!! I thought I was the only one to feel that way. I don't ever want to think about it again. Don't need my Stitching to remind me. GMTA💗 KATHY
Brenda- I love you! You are so freeing!! Forget that whole cross on 40 count one over one! Laura- I love your face when Brenda says the comment about the Brenda Keyes sampler being all cross stitch! You both are the best and if you rent an rv to go to the Attic, you must do a daily vlog because that would be the highlight of my year! Lol
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Yes! I am most definitely in for that! We would need an extra driver for the trailer to drive everyone's "stash acquisitions"!
A friend shared your channel a few weeks ago and you've been the joy of my days ever since!!! Been binging your episodes and now loving your 2019 Christmas flosstubes. I hope someone comes along to help you monetize your talents....your sayings on project bags, shirts, thread keepers....mmmhmmm...I can see that! My job ended just as covid started so as I figure out what's next I know for sure I want to see it like you do....work to stitch...do there work but get through it thinking of our joy of stitching and the next shopping trip or retreat. Can't wait for those days to come!!
All my project bags have the round tags, and I agree with Brenda that I love the sound they make! A.though I am more of a magnanimous stitcher like Brenda, I do get jealous of Laura and all her starts. If only I could stitch faster or even be able to stay up later, but alas, the projects I already have going will take years to finish. Sigh. It is so much fun to see what both of you are doing and see your wonderful acquisitions. Thanks for another excellent video!❣️❣️❣️
Oh Laura, your new bags are fabulous!!! It was such fun to see what's on the immediate radar for both of you - there are so many gorgeous things to stitch. I think I am going to start stitching The Farms of Hawk Run Hollow in the new year as I have had it kitted for years to do in memory of my dad. All Joys for Thine is just gorgeous! Brenda, I was laughing when you said you were not commemorating 2020 on any sampler as I couldn't wait to stitch the pandemic info into And They Sinned. Thanks as always ladies. Happy Thanksgiving, stay safe and happy stitching.
Love watching you ladies because episode after episode you show such gorgeous stitching projects and amazing patterns for enabling! Laura I love your idea for a favorite floss color ring. Brenda I hope you can open your own shop some day! Hope you find the time in your lives to get all ...or most...of your stitching projects done! Thanks for another lovely afternoon of stitching chat!
Waiting patiently, sort of, for Sunday. You ladies bring be such JOY! Your FFO’s, FO’s, WIPS, new starts, on the radar, plans .....😍 This week I discovered Lisa Abbey’s Needleworks and she gave you such a sweet shoutout in her episode 32. I got my Book of Days 2021, and the BIG sticker book 🤪 Oh yes, and all your shares, tips, and haul.
I have watched a couple of your recent flosstube videos and now I started binging from #1. What I would like to say is thank you. I never had an interest in stitching samplers. I can only stitch on 14ct aida because of my eyesight. I realize that I would be unable to stitch many of the samplers because the sizes of those finished on 14ct would be enough to probably wrap around my house! So I will stitch certain sections that appeal to me. You bring joy to my day, laughter and friendship and I appreciate you both sharing your passion and love of stitching. Happy Thanksgiving!
Had to laugh with Laura when Brenda said that the samplers “Had no funny busy in them”! Wishing you both a Happy Thanksgiving! We all have so much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you both enjoy your day with family and friends. I bought the Elizabeth Baker design too. My mother's oldest sister was named Elizabeth Baker. My Aunt died two years ago and I'm planning on stitching this sampler in her memory. She was 96!! My mom came from a family of ten. Sadly, I only have three Aunts that are still living. Loved the project bags you showed. Especially the ones with the vintage embroidery!! What a great way to preserve those stitched pieces! 😊❤
I truly love you gals! You never fail to bring joy to my week....well at least the week you do a flosstube! Wonderful projects and plans, always such fun, huh? You both have a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving week! Now to go and check out Jacob's new flosstube, itching to see what he has to share!
You guys are my favorite stitching pair.So many good ideas!!Have a great Thanksgiving if that’s possible in the times we are in!Anyway moving along keep stitching!!!!🍁
Why didn't the cuckoo go off when you pulled the thread card off of the ring? Would have been perfect timing! Happy Thanksgiving to you both, I am so thankful to be able to visit with you every 2 weeks. Now, I am off to go loosen my hitches!
Hi Ladies! Great video as always. Brenda, your framed pieces you just received are so gorgeous! And Laura, those bags from Deborah Harry are fantastic!! I hope you both have a wonderful Thanksgiving and happy stitching over the next two weeks!! 🦃🦃🍁🦉🍂🐿🍁🦔🍂🐿🧡🤎💛
Love all of your WIPS ❤️. They are very pretty. Love the Fabric and the Floss Colors. I love all of the Patterns that you will be stitching. They are just beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving ❤️🦃❤️ Happy Stitching ❤️XX❤️
What fun to listen to you both. When Laura pulled that peachy floss off, I just had to laugh.! I like the idea of having a favorite floss ring. Then when you need a couple more things in an order, you can order them instead of some random colors. Plus I would know what color to choose when I change something. Preplanning! Happy thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving Brenda and Laura! So had to stop just twice this episode for Auld Lang Syne and Cranberry Christmas. I need to finish my Satsuma Street Menorah: Peace and Light before I can move on to something else though. When I pull the colors for Satsuma Street charts, I am always very hesitant, but then it all comes together and I LOVE it! I guess I’m still a 60’s girl at heart. But I stitch all the prim and samplers too. I’m retired, but still need more stitching time! Oh that Knight project bag!!! Unbelievable. When we used to travel, once upon a time, we’d get those linen kitchen towels (Front doors of Dublin, etc.) as souvenirs and gifts - easy to pack and unbreakable. I’ll have to go look and see if we still have some. What a great idea. I’ve got a Sajou chart in honor of my dad, Harold, of Harold at the Battle of Hastings. How amazing would that Knight project bag be for it?! I’ll have to go searching in the linen cupboard. When Brenda opens her store, I’ll be employee #2. I’ll sweep the floor, dust the shelves, run errands and smile.the.entire.time ‘cause that would be mind blowing! Love you two! Take care, Sally in Northern California 😁😷
I love and am adopting Laura’s idea of starting a floss ring of favorite floss colors. I have some free patterns that I want to stitch in one color. It will be fun to do them in a favorite. Thank you for the inspiration and laughter today, great episode!
Happy Thanksgiving Brenda and Laura as well as all the stitchy friends out there. It always makes me smile when I get to watch your floss tube and I always look forward to them. I wish I could be there to share in the joy with your both. And Brenda I'm like you do what makes you happy and if you don't like the fabric move on to what you like. Life is too short and there are too many things we want to do without having to do something that doesn't truly make us happy. Keep on stitching and enjoy every stitch! Love you both!
New drool worthy bags - phrases galore - great stitching and stash . That’s what you call a fun time viewing your FT. What a party !!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Brenda and Laura and Happy stitching !!!
Thanks a bunch for your suggestions on white thread! I will check out your recommendations. Thanks to you two I discovered Seraphim Fabrics. Their linen is definitely my go to ..... love their Newcastle 40ct! Have a great and safe holiday!
Oh my gosh, I LOVE you ladies so much. You are such a joy to watch, my husbands laughs at me laughing with you and I HAVE to thank you for it. My mission in life now is to stitch the Jane Southard "La Maison Rouge" I'm in love love love with it. I hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving , stay healthy and enjoy your stitching :).
I'm thankful for you ladies. Such a joy to be inspired and enabled by your awesomeness. I hope for peace and happiness as you and your families celebrate the holidays.
Your videos have just gotten better and better. I enjoy your discussions and watching your special friendship. You are both so fortunate. How did you meet? I have missed that story. I think the most entertaining videos were when you had to be under quarantine and went through such pains to make your videos. The one where Laura was caught unawares, sans makeup in her robe will always be my favorite. What a trooper! I lost my husband a week ago and watching the two of you has gotten me thru tough days and nights. Thanks to flosstube, I can visit my fellow stitchers when I need to have company. You never fail me, you are always there smiling. Thank you.
Well ladies my stitchy bug flew off and I don't know when she is returning ! So I have been crocheting afghans for the cold weather. As usual I enjoy your podcast and really get a kick out of you together. Everything you showed is so fun and I enjoy seeing all the goodies.
What a treat to watch you guys on a quiet Sunday evening and get out my stitching! Brenda love love that All Joys for Thine and the frame... just exquisite. And Laura your project bags are making me drool : ) I have been eyeing Mary Lindsay (Chessie and Me) for a while darn it, you talked me into it : ) : ) have a wonderful Thanksgiving you two bright shining lights in the needlework world!!!
This episode is an instant classic that I'll be watching over and over again! So thankful for you two and the companionship you've given me throughout the year.
I find that white anchor covers better than white DMC. Anchor seems more fuzzy maybe? Whatever the reason I do find it works better. Love you guys! Good job Laura giving Brenda marching orders to work on her red sampler every Friday morning.
A crossstitch shop would be a wonderful addiction to all of us. And I would love to be a fly on the wall listening to you two hysterical ladies! Thanks fir sharing your love of crossstitch. ❤️
Ladies, I must say you guys are real enablers! I have spent so much money since watching you. I would attend SS (stop stashing) if there was one in the area So thank goodness I can’t find any local meetings!!! Seriously though, love your videos and sharing so much good stuff.
Laura, you crack me up with your "how mature", too funny! Brenda, your Manor at Quaker Hill is beautiful, as is Ann Pegg. Happy Thanksgiving to both of you! Marilyn
Oh Ladies - I am going backwards and watching older flosstubes. (because 2 weeks is too long to wait to watch you all!) Anyway - you made me snort with laughter when you told Laura she could be your first employee "in charge of starts"! Love you guys!
Ok Brenda, I want to work at your shop too! I’ve always wanted to own a shop or at least work at one! Love the bags Laura. Those ones with the vintage linens are to die for!
Laura, your first Deborah Harry bag you showed has a pattern that I got from my grandmother that is embroidered on a small round table cloth. I keep it on my cedar chest. It must have been a popular pattern back in the day. Thanks for sharing your passion ladies!
Oh my goodness... that GiGi R pattern that you’re planning to start is gorgeous. It would look great on Vintage Bees Wax by R & R. I loved seeing you ladies today. I just drove across your area ( i think) the other day and thought of you. One day we’ll meet.
Ohhh I love everything but when you busted out Joyeux Noel I almost cried because I want that one so much! Hope you do that one soon!! And the framed All Joy to Thine is perfect!! Love all the projects!! My tracking says the two pieces I sent to Total Framing made it! I’m so excited!! Thanks for the encouragement!! Happy Thanksgiving!! Blessings!! 🧡🦃
I'm with you Brenda. I do not want to commemorate the pandemic nor this year. In fact, I don't even like stitching 2020 on my projects. Laura, when you showed Winifred Glarke, I immediately put it on my wish list. Love the red and green. Did you know that Pineberry Lane has a website where you can get downloadable or paper patterns and floss packs for some of her designs? I bought Sarah Platt with the overdyed floss pack directly from her. Thanks, Brenda and Laura, for another inspiring video.
I would love to wander around Brenda's house......I can only imagine how beautiful the stitching would be!! I am not putting anything pandemic related in my stitching either. I don't want/need to be reminded. Love you ladies and I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for all the wonderful stichiness you bring us. Even if you constantly enable me. :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to you two! I started my day with Prairie Schooler Songs of the Season and you lovely ladies. I'm always in awe of your finishes and want to start all the things you do. Happy stitching!
I agree about white Floss ! Ugh I hated using it until I heard Stephanie from Just keep Stitchin about " railroading" my white stitches!! WOW what an awesome idea!! My white stitches are so much neater. I do prefer B5200 and 3865 DMC Floss !! Hope it helps someone else !! Love you two crack me up every time !😂😂😂
I’m laughing over so many things today, loosening your hitch will forever stick in my mind and partying in my pjs I can relate to! I too love Pineberry Lane.... especially for my smalls. I just did a whopping order to Country Sampler and gave into Mary Argent too. So appreciative of your sweet compliments about sis and I. We have got to do a beach week and stitch like crazy ! Stay safe and eat all the turkey !!!! ❤️
You both are so awesome! I watch your podcast with pen and paper at the ready to jot down ideas for my projects for the year 2030, LOL (sorry I’m really slow...).Laura, I work in a law office too and they would go nuts over the RBG bag!! Best I’ve done as far as her image is a coffee mug (a gift!) using an interesting hand gesture - which stays home (!!!) - and a mask with her famous quote on it.
So, about Thursday I remembered it was a Brenda and Laura week and it put a smile on my face. I have been looking forward to seeing you ever since! I am so looking forward to some stitchy down time for Thanksgiving. Yippee! I hope you ladies have a lovely holiday. I am most definitely thankful for you!
Y’all are too funny, and too enabling! I love it. I don’t have a hitch in my thread, but some days there’s a hitch in my hip! I’m stitching Early Christmas Morning. Take note on the band... not all borders are equal!! Well, hers aren’t - mine are! Brenda, coffee grunge a piece of linen for your Christmas start. Stuffed here in NC ♥️🦃🤎
So much knowledge my brain is jumbled! ! Saw the Winter Rose Manor and thought I needed that . Then I saw that’s what I just ordered and it’s on its way. Laura…I also work in a law firm 🤪
As always, I loved the video! And I have a couple of ideas for you. Laura - instead of an RV, I think you need to charter a bus to The Attic next year. That way you can pick up stitchers along the way (I'm in Colorado if you want to stop) and you can stitch while someone else does the driving. Brenda - Deb at Stitches N' Things in Fenton, MI just mentioned in her newsletter last Sunday that she is hoping to retire, but she can't until she finds someone who will love her store and her customers just as much as she does. Just a thought! (And I would be honored to be a model stitcher for you!)
I just love you guys! I also watched Jacob yesterday, and your right, he is easy to listen to and I love all the history. I was enamored with his design style so I signed up for his 2021 SAL and I am going to do the 2 color option, Dark and Light Blue. Wish me luck!!!
Hi Brenda, ,HI Laura! I have a smile on my face to see you pop up! I got my Needlework Press calendar for 2021 last week! Laura you are wearing a Habs hoodie!!! Oh my - I dont know if my Leafs heart can take it! Ha ha Happy Thanksgiving my friends!
Thank you so much Jacob!!!!!!! Having your approval for the linen I picked for Joan Sands is great!!!!! Makes me more confident! We are very much looking forward to your next floss tube. The first one was so good!!!!!!!!
Me, me, me!! I want to stitch the Anniversaries of the Heart! I've been waiting on this for years--now I have the perfect reason. Thank you so much for that! I want to stitch the all on separate fabrics and sew them together like a quilt before framing them (like the Garden Club series that I'm working on right now).
Hi ladies! Happy Thanksgiving! I’m very thankful for you both as you e brought immeasurable joy to my life via your Flosstube. I truly treasure the time I spend watching you two interact and everything about the way you discuss stitching. Thank you very, very much. #loosenyourhitch 🤣❤️
So happy to see you both again! Love all the stash. You must agree, stitching and stashing are two entirely different hobbies! Have a lovely and safe Thanksgiving.
Hi guys!! Almost spit out my Diet Pepsi when you said you were going to rent and RV and drive to The Attic this year if necessary!! ALTHOUGH, I feel the same way. I told Jean in an email that I am homesick for The Attic. Hey, you guys, could just swing thru Kansas and pick me up on the way!! Brenda, if you haven’t tried stitching with the 100/3 thread yet you are in for a real treat-I just love using it. I am more than ready to start traveling to all those stitching destinations and getting together with stitchy friends!! Debbie Wolfe in Kansas
You should have a shop together. I had my own shop that I designed all the furniture and everything g. I am a custom tailor and being able to make it your own is beyond your wildest dreams. If you can do it go for it.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 :I just ordered a thread set from Traditional stitches! I had ordered the fabric and pattern thinking maybe I had the threads but alas it was not to be. Then I heard they had extra sets of silks!! I probably won't get it in time but soon!! I will watch from the wings!!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Did you say half stitches when stitching over one? Somehow that is what I was picturing, and figured you still did a regular stitch on over twos! But sure love the idea of half stitches when doing the over one parts.
Happy Thanksgiving! As always you’ve given me food for thought! Haven’t gotten my PNPS magazine, but I’m always about a month behind the crowd. I started Anniversaries but haven’t been able to get through January! Had to change colors as they didn’t work with my fabric. I had to rip out everything I stitched today as I discovered a booboo from the last time I stitched! Until next time!
"You're my first employee....in charge of starts"......I'm dying.......LMAO!
I would be so good at the job!!!! Right????
"And when I say party I mean stitching" that's a new instant classic line!
Yes! We need to start using that freely!!!!!

Enjoyed seeing all your projects. Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful. Happy Stitching!
Thank you Merritt!!! Hope yours was wonderful too!!!
Do what makes you happy Brenda! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families!
I hope you both and your families have a Happy Thanksgiving! Another great floss tube!
Laura, you crack me up with your "how mature", too funny!
Brenda, your Manor at Quaker Hill is beautiful, as is Ann Pegg.
Happy Thanksgiving to both of you!
Marilyn
Thank you so much Marilyn!!!
I'll be your 2nd employee Brenda, but it might be a long commute. LOL. Love you ladies. Have a great couple of weeks. So thankful for you.
Oh Ladies - I am going backwards and watching older flosstubes. (because 2 weeks is too long to wait to watch you all!) Anyway - you made me snort with laughter when you told Laura she could be your first employee "in charge of starts"! Love you guys!
You both are so inspiring. I want to start all the samplers I have kitted up.
We are thankful for you too. You always brighten my Sunday when you are on. Saw so many things I want to do.
Betty Lowdermilk I agree - they can really turn a bad day around.
Ok Brenda, I want to work at your shop too! I’ve always wanted to own a shop or at least work at one!
Love the bags Laura. Those ones with the vintage linens are to die for!
Pam!!! We can work the same shift together right????? Think of the hee-hawing around we could get up to!!!! Love you!
Blessings!! 🧡🦃
Happy Thanksgiving! Always wonderful to spend time with you.
Love you two crack me up every time !😂😂😂
You ladies are so fun and I adore you both!!! I am so thankful for you two. Happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you Shelia!
Ladies,I hope you both have a blessed Thanksgiving! Enjoy your stitching ....and your family!
Terri TheOldNeedleShop Thanks Terri! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Hugs!
I am thankful for you both, although you are such enablers! Many thanks for your videos and sharing...
Thank you so much Marjorie!!! We are grateful for you watching and leaving such nice comments!!!
I always look forward to the Sundays you ladies are on. I am thankful for stitching and you two. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
I only understand or know about 60% of what you guys talk about, but you are truly so much fun to watch,
Thanks for the inspiration! Have a great holiday. 😃
Thanks Diane! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving!
Lovely episode again ladies - and thank you so much for the shoutout! I love the linen you've picked for Joan Sands!!!
I agree with you about Jacob’s flosstube. It was wonderful. He is such a lovely person. I ordered PWE 1858 as soon as I saw it.
I just want to stitch everything of his!!!!!! Gorgeous!
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Well that is also true! I think I will do the 2020 sal this next year. 😃
Happy Thanksgiving to you both!
I am so thankful we have your flosstubes to watch...Love seeing all your wips, stash, haul and stitchy kindness...
Thank you Carol!
So happy to see you both again! Love all the stash. You must agree, stitching and stashing are two entirely different hobbies! Have a lovely and safe Thanksgiving.
We totally agree with that analysis Desiree!!!!! And we practice both hobbies!
I totally blame the both of you for me falling down the sampler stitching rabbit hole and 40 ct linen. Thanks a lot...
Well that was wonderful. And Laura those bags so delicious. Thanks for sharing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Happy Thanksgiving to you.I love your video's and seeing all you do. Makes me want to go out and buy buy buy everything. See you next time.
Thanks Gaila!
Thank you ladies! Always a great way to spend the afternoon while stitching! Happy Thanksgiving
Thank you so much Lisa!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you both! I am thankful for you and your Flosstube, which I enjoy SO much! ♥️🦃😄
Another great episode. Thanks for all you do to promote stitching.
I love your videos! You are an enabler!!!
Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving, sweet ladies! It always make my Monday morning to start my stitching commute time with your company.
Thank you so much!!!! Hugs!!!
I agree with you! I have no desire to put anything in my stitching regarding the pandemic!
Happy Thanksgiving Brenda and Laura. You have brightened my day.
Thank you Susan!!! You brightened ours with your lovely comment!
You should have a shop together. I had my own shop that I designed all the furniture and everything g. I am a custom tailor and being able to make it your own is beyond your wildest dreams. If you can do it go for it.
Such a pleasure to watch you both. Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you Ladies!! You are wonderful as always! I had to go get my threads for Ann Morrison to start Dec 5!
Thank you Sue!!!!!! That will be fun on 12/5!!!
Half stitches on 40 count - why have I never thought of that?? Happy Thanksgiving, you two! - Sheri
Thanks Sheri. I do half stitches when I stitch over one on 40ct. Normally I do a regular cross with one strand over two threads.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Did you say half stitches when stitching over one? Somehow that is what I was picturing, and figured you still did a regular stitch on over twos! But sure love the idea of half stitches when doing the over one parts.
Loved your video as usual. All your projects and radar are wonderful. Thanks for sharing with us.
LOL Thanks again Ladies. You brighten my weekend.
Enjoyed your video! You two are awesome. Happy thanksgiving to you and your family.
Always enjoy your Flosstube! Wishing you both a Happy Thanksgiving.
