Another big tip-off that most of the characters are voiced by AI is that Kevin Northman, the guy who voiced the main character, and possibly the only real person who did voice acting in this, is also credited for "dialogue refinements." In other words, he was probably the guy who put in the prompts for the rest of the dialogue.
It sounds like cheap voice actors reading lines written by non-english speaking devs. They read it badly, get no input nor direction from the devs, and this is what you get. You hear a lot of it from bad mobile game ads.
Either this heel turn was the plan all along, or they gave up on dramatics and VAs and went FUCK IT and made this cursed masterpiece unintentionally. Idk which I prefer.
i wonder if the ai script kept mentioning that he recharged his batteries or something, so thats why the flashlight is hand cranked and has a 30 second life expectancy
