I have a funny story for ya. Raymond has been my number one dreamie for a long time now but in spite of all the villager hunts I've gone on, I never found him. Now I'm not sure if I want to villager hunt again because there's only one villager I'm willing to part with, and whichever villager I get (if she leaves) I will have to keep because the most recent villager cannot leave. And get this, when I was playing happy home paradise, I found RAYMOND chilling on the beach, which is unfortunate because you CAN'T take home clients in hhp. The cat had the nerve, the audacity to show up in a place where I can't get him...
I have been hunting Raymond ever since the game came out. Island 35 hunting for Shino (no idea how many I have done before this) he finally came home, and then just 5 more into next hunt Shino came as well. Only Ione left!
I'd be genuinely surprised if there isn't some hidden rarity value. I've done at least 1,000 Island hops and have run into Raymond once out of all of that. I know anecdotal and all that stuff, but it seems like everyone has a hard time getting him to show up, and with my personal experience, it seems like there HAS to be some hidden value.
You can...take home clients... I mean you need to find them on a Mystery Island or on the Campsite, but it is possible to still find someone who may have been a client with Paradise Planning once. Did that with Cephalobot and Shino via amiibo, and they're chilling on my island.
@@ProtoponEXE there isn't. The game determines the villager on the mystery islands by first their species and then their members. It's why a specific octopus villager is more common than a specific cat villager.

This reminds me of when I was trying to find audie for my second island. My plot auto filled after I spent like 100+ tickets and the plot was the audie that was on my original island that moved.

Last week when I finally managed to kick out a Villager, I got 180 tickets ready to go hunting for someone. And on my first ticket, I got Shino... This having been two days after getting Cephalobot in my campsite, and then getting Faith in my next campsite after taking Shino.
I absolutely adore Sasha, I’m so glad I have him. Also, I do genuinely love most of the popular villagers, like, they’re obviously popular for a reason, they just do something right! I am proud to show off all of mine. Also, pro tip! If you drop your ladder before travelling you won’t get any mountain islands, as far as I know. Has worked for me so far :) Ps. I love your villager hunts

Quinn being a Yuri and Apollo fusion is something I never thought of before lol!! I love both AC and FE so pulling that connection now is like "Huh....makes sense" xD Yuri was an absolute unit in my Three Houses playthrough. I also had Quinn on my island awhile back as she moved into my island randomly. I gifted her to a good friend of mine~ But for real tho, Sasha, Shino and Ione are too cute! They're so cute I just wanna pat them on the head. c: Sasha is a cute teal bun, Ione gives me Rosalina vibes and Shino is a demon! That's pretty cool~ Marlo possibly being a Godfather reference or like a mob boss reference is really cool, too! I like the all the new villagers, but I have my big favorites of course.

I know I'm a bit late but just a quick tip: If you drop your ladder before going on hunts then you won't run into mountain island or any island that requires a ladder.
It was a ton of fun honestly! Coming back to doing a hunt. Yes I did! Though I worked mostly in restocking the store. It was a decent enough job but it was only a seasonal position. Though I did work inside Disneyland itself at one point as well haha
i love amiibo cards. if you don't have an android phone to spoof them people sell em on etsy for like $2.50. so much easier to get villagers you want that way. but also this is obviously more fun for youtube, glad you found her!
If you are desperate for certain villegers and don't want to spend any nook miles tickets hopping to islands or don't want to spend bells on nookazon I absolutely recomend going to treasure islands! I recomend watching UA-cam video explaining how they work, while it can be terrible waiting for people to leave and come to the island I got Tangy, Lolly, ankha and Raymond for free! (If you can't tell I'm going for a purrfect island) The only downside is you have to have online plus or you can't so it ;/ if you are looking for treasure Island I allways go to twitch! There are many there and they give you dodo codes for islands!

I kicked out Julian on my island and attempted to get Sasha or Marlo on a villager hunt and kick them out for Shino so I could make a killing on Nookazon. After 2 hours and about 175+ NMT's, the moment came and atop Mt. Pyre, the light blue Yukata of Shino came into frame and I took her home. Long story short, it's ok to be greedy sometimes, you may get rewarded like I was.
QOTD - Ione is my favorite. I don't really get the hype around Shino but I don't hate her, Marlo is kind of cute, Tiansheng is okay, Sasha is probably my second favorite, Cephalobot is okay but I'm not too big into the octopi, Quinn is cool, and Petri is pretty cool.
