I will definitely cook this looked easy. May I know the name of the premium grade of thick black soya sauce from Malaysia please? Thanks for the recipe.
The name of the sauce is "Premium Caramel Dark Soya Sauce". In Malaysia, it is also called in Malay "Kicap Pekat" or "Kicap Soya Pekat" . In Chinese, it is "晒油". If you need a recommendation of the brand, I suggest "Orchid Brand" from Ipoh or "Tai Ho" from Alor Setar.
Thanks, I have used the orchid brand soya sauce and it was really good quality. I will try to look for their thick soya sauce. I appreciate your cooking tutorials. Keep up the good work! @@GoChopsticks

Looks delicious! But the tiger soy source can't get in Malaysia. Using Malaysia soy source n dark source will taste the same?
Malaysia dark soy sauce also ok, as long as you choose the premium grade type 😊
