I was born and bred in Accrington but moved to Australia 2 years ago...my Mum tagged me in this video on FB and now I'm sat here crying and feeling completely homesick!! Haha...fab song and absolutely love the video, it can be such a grey dull town when you're living there so it's nice to be reminded it can be quite beautiful!!
Wow! Hi... I've never lived down my clock in woodwork and you singing "she's a man not a girl" at me 😂 I remember looking round Wilfrid's and our Mums know each other so we were instant friends. What a great song JMIH 😉
Hi Maelor my name is Brock, I’m 14 and I want to pursue my dream to be a singer just like you have, and to make albums . You are really inspiring to listen, your voice is incredible. I don’t know if you know my mum or not but she is called Lisa Burton and my dad is called Adam Irving , we live in Oswaldtwistle near the Hare & Hounds pub , they have heard you sing quite a few times and this is how I found you . Once again , let me just tell you that YOUR AMAZING!
Hey man....never mind your mum n dad...I know you mate ha. I remember chasing you round your yard when you were too little to remember. Aye i know your mum and dad well. Go for it mate 👍 let us know if theres owt i can help you with. M
Great video and song, Maelor. Not sure if it still happens but Phil at the Stanley WMC used to have a Jammin' night when anyone who could play and sing could go along and join in a music session with others. Had some great nights down there. Shame it's on the cards to close.
How do. So it's a trick...so like if u used 1 capo on the 2nd fret but only capo'd 5 strings...e b g d a and left the low e open...then when u play d chord (which is actually an echord when capo'd) then cause the low e string is open its obviously tuned to E..so u get an open chord sound like u would in drop d....but then when u change to a g chord..its like it's capo'd all the way accross...instead of having to play g as a drop d chord.....so because the songs written in G..not E...I use one capo on the 3rd fret..and then the second to recreate the partial capo'ing so I can play the riff and get a more open sounding chord..if that makes sense
hi maelor i love your music and love this song, i currently have 2 big facebook groups for hyndburn ossyfromabove and also ossy news and surrounding views i film alot of accy etc for aerial videos i would really like to use this song in one of my next videos would i with your permission be able to use it ..i fo not gain financially its a hobby of mine ..
I take it neither of those FB pages or groups exist? Neither of them names produces anything in the search on Facebook! Shame, being a keen photographer and videographer around Hyndburn I would have liked to see your work.
